RACE ONE

BONNY MY BOY (1) was a tragedy beaten here two starts back when striking trouble but resetting to finish as the runner-up behind CHOCOLATE NORMAN. Strong to the line when resuming from over 12 months off the scene three starts back, he comes up with the conditions to open the account.

ENZED FLYER (4) had the early hustle to take control here last week and led to the 400 before the short price fav SHES IN LINE ripped clear to a big victory. Best of the chasing pack, he draws a little wide but can look to be the best of the rest once again.

HURRIKANE JEWELS (3) settled in the 1x1 trail last week when chasing and finishing out of the money behind SHES IN LINE. From the gate she has podium claims here.

BLONDIEINTHEBACK (9) is a beautifully bred Captaintreacherous 3YO filly on debut for Ben Battle. The gate is not ideal for her first career appearance, but she stays under notice.

SELECTIONS: BONNY MY BOY (1), ENZED FLYER (4), HURRIKANE JEWELS (3), BLONDIEINTHEBACK (9)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE THREE

MY ULTIMATE LEVI (3)
was fresh up last start when firing out from gate 1 to set the tempo. With a solid clip established from the front, he faded in the closing stages as ESCOBAR descended on them. From this gate, he can force the issue and take control and at the middle trip see it out.

LOUIE THE PUNTER (7) returns to Qld and joins the Gemma Hewitt stable as he passes 12 months since his last victory. With a tidy trial to open the pipes, he secures options as the lone second line runner and can ease into the running line to issue a challenge.

ESCOBAR (5) is only lightly raced but secured the ideal trip last start and when set free, charged home to claim a 2m margin. Runner-up to O B LEGAL two runs back, the small field is in his favour.

WINDY HILL WALLY (4) faces a tricky gate here and might end up stuck on a limb. Working home wide off the track last start, he claimed a tidy win here two back and can be chiming in again.

SELECTIONS: MY ULTIMATE LEVI (3), LOUIE THE PUNTER (7), ESCOBAR (5), WINDY HILL WALLY (4)
SUGGESTED BET: MY ULTIMATE LEVI (3) to win

RACE FOUR

FUNNILY ENOUGH (4) was first up in Qld three starts back when runner-up from gate 1 at Marburg, finishing 6m astern of the winner. A beaten fav here second up, he was asked to sit parked from gate 6 last time out in a tough effort and looks to have found the set up to capitalise.

KHULAN KID (9) resumes from a freshen for the new stable after a last start fade out behind WHERES OUR MONEY. Trying to take them all the way two starts back and only beaten a half-head, at his best, this is a race where he can challenge.

SUBTLE ADVICE (5) struck some trouble last start that was a contribution to his midfield finish. Runner-up in both prior attempts, the wide gate makes it a tough ask.

DIPPED IN SILVER (8) will be further tightened from his latest appearance where he was second up from a spell. Using the passing lane to grab the bronze last time out, he can be joining in.

SELECTIONS: FUNNILY ENOUGH (4), KHULAN KID (9), SUBTLE ADVICE (5), DIPPED IN SILVER (8)
SUGGESTED BET: FUNNILY ENOUGH (4) to win

RACE FIVE

TUNGSTEN TERROR (3)
fired out from gate 4 before taking cover over the AP mile last time out and was best of the chasing pack behind the smart 3YO MAJOR ICON. A two-time winner here on The Triangle, he has super speed out of the machine and can launch and look to dictate.

IM A CLASSY GIRL (1) settled in the running line after starting two on the second line here two runs back before charging home in the closing stages to claim victory. She did not receive the cleanest passage last start but with the soft trip here can be ready to strike in the stretch.

OUR DOLLY (4) is after a hat-trick of wins after successive wins sitting parked on this deck. She faces a step up in grade but is going well enough to chase the threepeat.

MY GIRL MANDY (7) will secure the economical trip and should appreciate conditions here after using the passing lane last start when 6m away in a Triad qualification heat. She will be probing.

SELECTIONS: TUNGSTEN TERROR (3), IM A CLASSY GIRL (1), OUR DOLLY (4), MY GIRL MANDY (7)
SUGGESTED BET: TUNGSTEN TERROR (3) to win

RACE SIX

BORN TO WRITE (9)
had a three-start campaign to start her career earlier this season, finishing a smart 3rd on debut behind LOUS DREAM. Cashing in second up when leading throughout and opening the account, she has been to the trials on four occasions to prep and can strike fresh up.

SHES IN LINE (8) was making her first appearance in Qld last week when facing this same gate. Sent around them in the early stages to sit parked, she pulled away like a $1.12 shot should, racing clear to a 31m margin. With added fitness, she can throw it down.

DELIGHT OF RANI (2) makes his first appearance this season off the back of a last start maiden breaking victory last November. With a steady trial to prepare, he can feature fresh.

DARED TO DREAM (7) has placed at her past two starts, the latest when working to the front from gate 4 and leading deep into the stretch, only to be nabbed by OUR FIRE AND DELIGHT. She will be probing.

SELECTIONS: BORN TO WRITE (9), SHES IN LINE (8), DELIGHT OF RANI (2), DARED TO DREAM (7)
SUGGESTED BET: BORN TO WRITE (9) to win

RACE SEVEN

HES SWEET (1)
made full use of the inside gate at Marburg two starts back when darting through, leading and claiming an effortless 5m victory. Beaten by the outside second line gate last time out, he still closed out in nice order behind LITTLELIONELJAMES. The gate gives him every chance.

OOGA CHAKA (4) was second up in Qld last time out and was best of the chasing pack in finishing 7m from the smart filly THE VICAR OF DIBLEY. Luckless at his first appearance in Qld here on this deck when faced with the outside front line, he can build off the last start to challenge here.

FOREVER MOMENTS (7) worked forward to take control here three starts back and once in control was able to see it out. Asked to work hard last start when midfield to PRESS STATEMENT, she will be probing.

MILLIE FRANCIS (6) closed out in nice order last start to grab the bronze behind MIDNIGHT SOMEWHERE. A smart winner three starts back, the gate hurts but she is a podium hope.

SELECTIONS: HES SWEET (1), OOGA CHAKA (4), FOREVER MOMENTS (7), MILLIE FRANCIS (6)
SUGGESTED BET: HES SWEET (1) to win

RACE EIGHT

FULLOFIT (4)
is chasing the hat-trick after successive wins over the sprint trip. Forcing the issue last start from gate 4, she took control and held on for a narrow neck margin. This is the next step up and she rises to the 2040 journey, but she looks up to the challenge of the threepeat.

CALF PEN (3) was first up for 2023 last start when eased across from gate 6 to secure position and making nice metres to be just 3m from HAPPY GO LINCY over the AP mile. This will be his first appearance here at Redcliffe but with the benefit of the good gate can issue a challenge second up.

SUBSTITOOTH (8) was back in the pack from a second line gate last start over the AP mile and did not really get warm in the latter stages. Doing plenty of work at his previous two starts, he is up to joining in here.

TEACHERS PET (1) has the benefit of the gate but her record at the middle trip is of concern. Working home wide off the track last start from the second line, she has the gate to feature.

SELECTIONS: FULLOFIT (4), CALF PEN (3), SUBSTITOOTH (8), TEACHERS PET (1)
SUGGESTED BET:
