RACE ONE

With good speed out of the machine, WILLIEWA LIGHTNING (2) will appreciate a big improvement in his barrier fortunes here. Slammed with gate 10 last start, he was strong to the line when just missing the money. No closer than gate 5 at his previous eight starts, this looks his chance.

BLACKJACK BETH (3) settled in the 1x1 trail last start and could not go with them in the closing stages when just outside the money behind SHEZA CRACKER. Beaten by gate 7 in the 3YO Fillies Triad the start prior when down the line, an improved gate can see her issue the challenge.

COCONUT CUTIE (8) was faced with gate 10 here last start and was hitting the line in smart order when just a half-neck from the winner. A winner at Redcliffe three back, she will be probing.

MY CHINA DOLL (4) has placed at her past two starts, the latest when asked to hang tough when parked and grafting out a 3m 3rd. Runner-up two starts back, she can get forward to feature.

SELECTIONS: WILLIEWA LIGHTNING (2), BLACKJACK BETH (3), COCONUT CUTIE (8), MY CHINA DOLL (4)
SUGGESTED BET: WILLIEWA LIGHTNING (2) to win

RACE THREE

Placed in two of her three to date, JESEEKA (10) was put into the contest last start from inside the second line to move around them and sit parked. Grinding it out over the 2138 to finish 2m from the winner FIAS CHARM, she can defy the wide gate and finds a suitable race to open the account.

ENZED FLYER (3) takes his first look at the big deck following placings in three of his six to date, all at either Marburg or Redcliffe. Buried form inside the second line last start on the tight Marburg track, he has early hustle and can look for the poles early to issue a challenge.

STARS OF AMERICA (6) is unplaced in six previous attempts on this deck and still faces the wide gate despite clearing the ODM embargo last start. Chasing from midfield last start, he is a podium hope.

FOR OUR DELIGHT (4) grabbed the silver on debut at Redcliffe from the pocket trail, finishing 17m astern of the winner SHEER ARTISTRY. Beaten by gate 10 last start, he can finish in the money here.

SELECTIONS: JESEEKA (10), ENZED FLYER (3), STARS OF AMERICA (6), FOR OUR DELIGHT (4)
SUGGESTED BET: JESEEKA (10) to win

RACE FOUR

A 2YO taking on older opposition here, HARRYS DEAL (5) will be making his first Qld appearance for Darrel Graham. A debut winner at Forbury, he made an error in the run second up and was still last turning for home at Addington when sizzling up the lane for 3rd. He looks a classy type.

SHES CLASSY (10) has placed in tow of her four on this deck, the latest when trying to see it out in front over the mile last time out, 2m from the winner MERRY JEWEL, she used the passing lane two starts back when 4m from the winner GEM PUNTER PETE. The gate makes it a tough ask.

DELIGHT OF RANI (2) should appreciate some wider expanses on offer of the big track for his second run back from a spell. Buried in the run when resuming, he can pinch a placing.

DARED TO DREAM (8) pressed on two starts back at Redcliffe and setting the tempo was only collared late by subsequent winner OUR FIRE AND DELIGHT. She will be searching for gaps.

SELECTIONS: HARRYS DEAL (5), SHES CLASSY (10), DELIGHT OF RANI (2), DARED TO DREAM (8)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 5 / 2-4-8-10

RACE FIVE

Given no favours at his first Qld appearance from the outside paint, SPORTING RAGE (7) arrives in the Shawn Grimsey stable a four-time winner from just a dozen appearances. A winner four runs back at Young over the 2100, he finds a winnable race first up.

RIVERINA FLASH (2) showed enough early hustle here last week from gate 3 to squeeze in behind the leader. Best of the chasers to claim the silver, behind the big winner KHULAN KID, he can press forward here and, in a race, where the 2138 will be the biggest obstacle to many, can throw it down.

SAINT JUJON (1) has had a dozen attempts to claim the cash here at HQ, placing in seven of those. Finishing hard for 2nd at this distance three back after a soft trip, she can probe.

CAPTAIN FOXTROT (8) rolled forward from gate 6 over this trip last start and exposed early before receiving the 1x1 trail, held on for the bronze behind KHULAN KID. He will be probing here.

SELECTIONS: SPORTING RAGE (7), RIVERINA FLASH (2), SAINT JUJON (1), CAPTAIN FOXTROT
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE SIX

There should be some early heat applied in the run here to those drawn tight and while ASHLEE NITRO (5) will not be in the gate duel early, it might just set up for her to position cheaply. Strong to the line last start when 3m astern of the winner, she can arrive off speed in a tricky contest.

OYSTER STRIDE (1) is staring down a hat-trick of victories after successive wins on The Triangle. Both wins have been after forcing his way to the front from gate 4 and controlling it thereafter. Running it out strongly last start, he may not have the speed to hold them out but will be stalking.

DIEGO DELGADO (10) was looking to make it four on end last start when sent forward to sit parked from gate 6. IN a gritty effort, he held on for the silver and will make his presence felt again.

UNDERTHEKILT (6) made an error last start that ended his chances when finishing at the rear. Finishing it off nicely over his less preferred 2138 the start prior when 3rd, he can feature here.

SELECTIONS: ASHLEE NITRO (5), OYSTER STRIDE (1), DIEGO DELGADO (10), UNDERTHEKILT (6)
SUGGESTED BET:  ASHLEE NITRO (5) each-way

RACE SEVEN

HEY MISTER TAYLOR (1)
was beaten by a wide gate last start when restraining from 6 to settle rearward, he finished it off in nice style to be 7m from the winner. Runner-up his previous four in succession, he has been costly to punters when a beaten fav in three of those. It sets up ideally here.

SMIRKS LIKA BOSS (3) eased to fins position last start in a strong 3YO contest and was searching for runs when just 6m from the winner FREE THINKER. Sent around them from the second line at Redcliffe two starts back in a tough effort to be just 2m away, he can throw it down.

ROCKSLIDE (8) was locked away last start and the closing tempo from the front put it out of reach of the chasers. With a soft trip likely, he will be probing for a way clear to chime in.

MY ULTIMATE LEVI (10) eased from gate 4 to find the poles and search for short cuts last time out when 9m from BETTING ORIGIN. The gate makes it a tough ask.

SELECTIONS: HEY MISTER TAYLOR (1), SMIRKS LIKA BOSS (3), ROCKSLIDE (8), MY ULTIMATE LEVI (10)
SUGGESTED BET: HEY MISTER TAYLOR / SMIRKS LIKA BOSS (1/3) quinellas/exactas

RACE EIGHT

Joining the Richie Williams stable two starts back, KULANI COURAGE (9) made an error first up at Newcastle that proved costly. Beaten by a wide gate second up when snagged back with the closing tempo making it too tough for the chasers, he finds the right alley here to stake a claim.

MISTER DIAMOND (4) was fired out form gate 3 last start to take control and from the front was trying to fight them off when finishing 3m astern of the passing lane winner SHES IN LINE. A front-end winner at Redcliffe four runs back, he can get forward to feature again here.

VODKA EN ICE (2) faced the outside second line over the middle trip here last time out and was angled to the inside to search for a shorter way home when midfield. He can settle closer here.

WUNDERLAND (10) will strip fitter from his latest offering where he was returning from a spell and stepping out for Chloe Butler for the first time. Beaten by a wide gate, he can make a late raid.

SELECTIONS: KULANI COURAGE (9), MISTER DIAMOND (4), VODKA EN ICE (2), WUNDERLAND (10)
SUGGESTED BET: KULANI COURAGE (9) to win
