RACE ONE

An even trot to open the card where after two a smart first up run, MY ULTIMATE EDDIE (5) can look to build off the effort. Tackling the open ranks in a mobile event, he was buried in the run before closing in nice style behind MAJESTIC LAVROS. Stepping safely will be a huge boost to his chances.

INSTANT DELIGHT (1) made an error last start that ended her chances as she finished near the rear. After the fence trip here two starts back she was able to hold 3rd behind INDEFENSIBLE and two back she was best of the chasing pack behind TAM OSHANTER. She has the right lane to challenge.

INDEFENSIBLE (6) was off the 10m here last week and settled four back in the run was hitting the line strongly late to grab 3rd. Finishing best here two starts back, he can be making another raid.

IGNITE (4) will be further tightened from his latest outing when second up from a spell. Safely into stride to work to the front before releasing, he has the manners to put himself in the contest.

SELECTIONS: MY ULTIMATE EDDIE (5), INSTANT DELIGHT (1), INDEFENSIBLE (6), IGNITE (4)
SUGGESTED BET: MY ULTIMATE EDDIE (5) to win

RACE THREE

A tricky 2YO maiden contest with four first starters engaged and the remaining five runners only having limited exposure. MOVE HEAVENNEARTH (1) is a nicely bred daughter of Rock N Roll Heaven that ranks as a half to the smart AUREUS. Trainer- tick, breeding- tick, gate- tick, trial performance- tick. More ticks than her opponents.

SHACKOUTTHEBACK (3) is out of the former smart race mare Beach Shack and is also a Rock N Roll Heaven filly on debut. With a sound trial performance where she was safe into the contest before taking cover, she can look to make an impression on debut.

FIREBOLT (9) is an Ohoka Punter filly on debut and comes through the same qualifying trial as SHACKOUTTHEBACK where she was able to finish in nice order. With the right trail, she can chime in.

TEDDY TURPIN (5) debuted when 3rd behind ROCKON ROCKY before finishing midfield second up. Kept fresh since that second outing, he stays under watch here.

SELECTIONS: MOVE HEAVENNEARTH (1), SHACKOUTTHEBACK (3), FIREBOLT (9), TEDDY TURPIN (5)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE FOUR

A competitive up to 90 event has been drawn together here with plenty of speed engaged with just a front line. DARK TERROR (6) scored a Saturday night win last start when pressing forward from gate 2 and from the front was able to see it out. 3rd to AUNTY BELLA two back, he can cash in again.

AUNTY BELLA (3) was beaten by a wide gate last start when retreating in the early stages and unable to get into the battle. Game in defeat when sitting parked here two starts back and just 4m away through a slick last 800 at the end of the 2138, she can run the arm to issue the challenge.

O B LEGAL (1) is giving away rating points to his opposition but gains the gate compensation as he chases a hat-trick of victories. Darting up the passing lane last start to claim a PB win, he is in the mix.

SEND IT (5) tried to settle forward last start but faded in the latter stages as FUTURE ASSURED put the entire field to the sword. Luckless behind that same winner the start prior, he can chime in here.

SELECTIONS: DARK TERROR (6), AUNTY BELLA (3), O B LEGAL (1), SEND IT (5)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE FIVE

The up to 40 class are always a tough read and the strength could well be off the second line in this contest. FINANCIALLY STABLE (9) was sent out as fav last start and sitting parked in the run, copped a check at the 300, denting his hopes. A winner in this grade two starts back, he can chime in.

HESLUVABLE (3) fired out from this gate four runs back to set the speed and was able to fight them all off to claim victory. Unable to hit the board in three runs since, gate 7 was his undoing last start when forced to retreat early. He can get forward here to issue the challenge.

TRUE ORIGINS (10) was wide off the track last start at Redcliffe when finishing 2nd after facing the outside second line. Tough in defeat two starts back, she can be joining in here.

LANCELOT BROMAC (1) was out of the pack and chasing last start to grab the silver, the 77th time he has been the runner-up. Likely to be locked away, he can keep chasing to grab another minor.

SELECTIONS: FINANCIALLY STABLE (9), HESLUVABLE (3), TRUE ORIGINS (10), LANCELOT BROMAC (1)
SUGGESTED BET: FINANCIALLY STABLE (9) to win

RACE SIX

After three runs in Qld where he has drawn wide on each occasion, SPIRIT AND SOUL (2) should appreciate the improved gate and a drop to veteran’s company. Snagged back from 7 last start, he was never a factor as FRANKIE FEROCIOUS carved it out in front. This looks his chance to capitalise.

DESPONDENT (4) pressed forward from gate 6 last start and was able to find the 1x1 trail. A flat tyre did not help his chances when finishing midfield behind a dictating BITCOIN. Runner-up at his previous three in succession, he will be going forward to throw it down again here.

MAJORDOIT (1) struck trouble in the run last start when trying to overcome a 30m handicap over the sprint trip at Redcliffe. 3rd in this grade from this gate three starts back, he is a podium hope.

COMMODORE JUJON (3) will take benefit from his last start where he was resuming from a spell and taken back soon after the start. Settling closer in this contest, he can grab a minor.

SELECTIONS: SPIRIT AND SOUL (2), DESPONDENT (4), MAJORDOIT (1), COMMODORE JUJON (3)
SUGGESTED BET:  SPIRIT AND SOUL (2) to win

RACE SEVEN

TRALEE MAXIE (2)
found the ideal conditions at Redcliffe last start in an easier contest and was able to capitalise to claim the prize. Runner-up to the in-form ODIN BLACK CROWS here two starts back, he can look to settle in a forward position to stake his claim.

IMA BIRUBI BOY (3) fired out from this same gate last time out and from the front was trying to see it out when collared in the closing stages. A neck from the winner ROLLED IN GOLD here two starts back, he can flash some early hustle to issue the challenge.

SHES CLASSY (4) settled rearward from outside the second line last time out before rattling home in the stretch to grab the silver behind HARRYS DEAL. Despite a potentially awkward gate, she is in the mix.

KEAYANG TARA (6) sat back in the pack from outside the second line last start and owned superior closing power when descending on them to score. Tempo will aid her chances.

SELECTIONS: TRALEE MAXIE (2), IMA BIRUBI BOY (3), SHES CLASSY (4), KEAYANG TARA (6)
SUGGESTED BET: TRALEE MAXIE (2) to win

RACE EIGHT

Having been in a great streak of form, AMAMI (9) struck trouble last start at Redcliffe and finished at the rear. A passing lane winner at the 2138 here tow starts back in a qualifier, this race should generate some good tempo and he can be fresh legs on the scene to capitalise.

BARTELLO (1) was required to sit parked last start when sent to the post ad fav and after the tough trip was 6m astern of the winner O B LEGAL. Speared out from outside the front line to lead two starts back, he has the gate to throw it down.

LUVBITE (3) has been a model of consistency but just cannot seem to find the breakthrough. Placed in 9 of 11 here at The Creek, he was strong to the line last time behind ALTA MAGACIAN and has claims again.

MERGE RIGHT (2) has hit the board at her past six in succession, the lates when taking the trail from gate 1 and finishing 2m from O B LEGAL. Runner-up to BIG SHADOW two starts back, she is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: AMAMI (9), BARTELLO (1), LUVBITE (3), MERGE RIGHT (2)
SUGGESTED BET: AMAMI (9) to win

RACE NINE

An intriguing battle here with some experienced performers engaged. After impressing first up in Aus, the 2YO HARRYS DEAL (5) might just be able to go back-to-back. He faces a sharp rise in grade and gives away plenty of ringcraft, but building off the first up victory, he can go again.

MULLUM BOY (8) held on for 3rd last week after being buried three back from this gate over the 2138 trip. Trying to make a late raid when midfield behind HARRY KANE two starts back, he was runner-up to subsequent winner PEPPA BLISS three back and will be probing for splits here.

SWEET GEORGIA BROWN (4) is another that gives way experience to her rivals as a five-start 3YO. A winner in two of those, she was a beaten fav last start. Back to a front-line gate is a huge plus.

GELDOF (1) should appreciate an improved gate after facing some wide gates in recent outings. A game 2nd when sitting parked here two back, he can feature from this alley.

SELECTIONS: HARRYS DEAL (5), MULLUM BOY (8), SWEET GEORGIA BROWN (4), GELDOF (1)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE TEN

Having been in good touch in recent starts, all the options appear to favour ARCHILLES (1) claiming his seventh AP victory. Covering plenty of track last start from gate 7 and fighting hard to hold 3rd, he went within an eyelash of scoring via the passing lane here two starts back. This looks his chance.

CAPTAIN OF SPEED (4) will be first up from a spell after arriving in Qld to join the Gemma Hewitt stable. Last raced back in June, she has trialled in nice order for the return and from this alley can get handy to issue a challenge fresh.

MIGHTY GEORGE (2) could not get warm last start when down the line behind OUR UNCLE NEV. Luckless here two starts back when searching for a gap, he finds conditions here to chime in.

SISTA BLISS (9) slid into the 1x1 trail last start when finishing midfield behind OUR UNCLE NEV. Beaten by gate 7 the start prior when retreating, she can follow through early to feature.

SELECTIONS: ARCHILLES (1), CAPTAIN OF SPEED (4), MIGHTY GEORGE (2), SISTA BLISS (9)
SUGGESTED BET: ARCHILLES (1) to win
