RACE ONE

After last Wednesday’s washout, the four Show Finals take place tonight on the newly refurbished track. KEAYANG TARA (8) galloped off the mark on Sunday at Marburg before moving forward and being exposed for over a lap. A neck from subsequent G1 winner QUIK CHANGE three back, she then claimed two wins and a 2nd in three runs at the show. This is within reach.

GOSLING IN FLIGHT (7) will be the inside runner from the 10m tape and if able to negotiate the early passage for a favourable position, can be ready to strike. A passing lane winner last start here on The Triangle, he won the last of his three Show appearances and can issue the challenge here.

JANG PEL (2) also claimed the last of his three starts at the Ekka. Placed at four successive starts prior to the show, he is safe off the tapes and can settle forward to make a play.

MAJORDOIT (13) will have to be at his best from the 30m impost over the sprint trip. 3rd behind MYMATEPOG at HQ in smart time two back, he was strong to the line at Marburg off 20m and can feature here.

SUGGESTED BET: KEAYANG TARA (8) to win

RACE THREE

THE MAHARANI (1)
was a winner here four runs back from inside the second line after securing the perfect pocket trip and darting through on the passing lane to score. Meeting much tougher opposition at HQ in the three runs since, she has early speed and lands all the options to capitalise.

MOUNT HERCULES (5) has worked his way back into some handy form to have three wins in his past five appearances. Snagged back from gate 6 last start to settle near the rear, he launched wide off the track and sprinted sharply to arrive on the wire. He can descend off tempo again here.

FLO RYDA (7) eased from the outside front line gate over the AP mile last start to find the pegs and hunting for luck finished midfield behind OUR FIRE AND DELIGHT. He will be probing again here.

JAY TEE TYRON (3) fired off the arm here two starts back and looked to take them all the way when grabbed in the closing strides by LULU LUCIFER. From the gate he will be up pestering the speed.

RACE FOUR

The second Show Final and ROCKNROLL DA GAMA (12) placed third in his first two Show appearances before claiming claimed a pair of victories. Taking that form to The Creek he has been able to chalk up successive wins at the mile from gate 1. Avoiding traffic, he is up for the threepeat.

JILLIBY GIZMO (1) can look to make full use of his starting lane off the front tape. With two Ekka wins and a second in another contest, he has a tidy record here on The Triangle and can make the most of his manners to capitalise.

DELIGHTFUL RAINBOW (11) is a six-time winner here at Redcliffe with her last race start when not too far from subsequent G1 winner QUIK CHANGE. Dancing off the mark at Marburg on Sunday and then carted out by a tiring runner, she can be sharper here.

MAJORMISS (9) tackled the 3YO fillies Triad heats when not too far from the winner in a midfield finish. Runner-up at her first Ekka outing and following that with a victory, she is in the mix here.

SELECTIONS: ROCKNROLL DA GAMA (12), JILLIBY GIZMO (1), DELIGHTFUL RAINBOW (11), MAJORMISS (9)
SUGGESTED BET:  ROCKNROLL DA GAMA (12) to win

RACE FIVE

SUNRISE RUBY (1)
started from the ace over the AP mile last start and taking the trail found space and angled to the outside to take her shot. With the winner darting through along the inside from three fence, she held 2nd when 2m away. With all the options, she can capitalise.

MISTER HART (9) is chasing a hat-trick of victories after successive wins at the 1780 trip. Firing out to take control last start, he pulled clear to a 5m margin and move to second on the all-time list for most ever Redcliffe victories. The second line makes it a tough challenge with his best in front.

GRIGORA (8) settled in the running line from this same gate last time out and when produced, had the speed to arrive in the last strides for victory. With the right trip he can be joining in again.

MUSIC MOTH (2) resumes from a break after her last appearance back in July when finishing down the line behind NOT THE KINGSWOOD. With form behind some handy types, she stays under watch.

SELECTIONS: SUNRISE RUBY (1), MISTER HART (9), GRIGORA (8), MUSIC MOTH (2)
SUGGESTED BET: SUNRISE RUBY (1) (1) to win

RACE SIX

PURPLE SHADES (1) started form inside the second line last time out and when positions were sorted was buried in the run and never had a crack at them. Placed in all three prior attempts, he used the passing lane two back when 2m from the winner JET FORCE. He has options to capitalise.

THE HARRIS HAWK (7) has been in a consistent run of form and was building towards a victory after three successive placings. Scoring over this trip two starts back, he was runner-up again last start behind DIEGO DELGADO. Sweating on holding leaders back, under that scenario, he can challenge.

ROCKNROLL MAX (4) tackled the AP 2138 trip last start and was asked for far too much in front and faded as a result. A half-neck from the winner here three back, he can get forward to feature.

BATED BREATH (5) was sent forward from gate 4 last start and forced the issue to take control. Once in front, she was able to claim a narrow victory and stung by the gate here can grab a minor.

SELECTIONS: PURPLE SHADES (1), THE HARRIS HAWK (7), ROCKNROLL MAX (4), BATED BREATH (5)
SUGGESTED BET:  Exotics 1-4-5-7

RACE SEVEN

HEAVENLY SEA (4)
has been kept fresh since her last appearance where she was sent forward from gate 4 to sit parked. Despite a tough trip, she was grinding it out in finishing with the bronze when 4m from the winner MATAI REACTOR. Runner-up here three back, this looks within reach.

CHASIN DREAMZ (5) fired off the arm here last week in the only race on the card and from the front was trying to see it out but was collared late by MY GIRL BLAZE. Fading after a tough trip from gate 6 here two starts back, she can get forward again here to issue the challenge.

THE CROM (1) was snookered three back from inside the second line here last week and made a late raid to grab the bronze. With the soft trip behind the speed, he can be probing.

CANNAN (8) fired out to have a look from gate 5 two starts back where he then opted for the trail and finished 2m astern of the winner. Too far back last start, he can follow through early.

SELECTIONS: HEAVENLY SEA (4), CHASIN DREAMZ (5), THE CROM (1), CANNAN (8)
SUGGESTED BET: HEAVENLY SEA (4) to win

RACE EIGHT

MAN OF ACTION (4)
was winless in four show starts but will appreciate a return to a bigger track here where he is a two-time winner. Claiming a Marburg victory at the end of July when sent around them in the early stages, if he can step safely, he can force the issue here to take his shot.

HESLUVABLE (7) placed in both show outings to gain a start here. Following those show runs from gate 3 over the AP mile, he was put on the engine soon after the start and was never in danger in claiming a 5m margin. Needing some factors in his favour to find space, he can challenge.

WHATELEY (1) was sent for a spell back in January and warmed up for the Ekka with a tidy trial performance. Tightened from three show starts with the alley helping his chances for this.

ALWAYS AT NIGHT (8) was runner-up here two starts back after settling back in the pack and finishing it off in nice style. With the right trip, he has podium claims once again.

SELECTIONS: MAN OF ACTION (4), HESLUVABLE (7), WHATELEY (1), ALWAYS AT NIGHT (8)
SUGGESTED BET: MAN OF ACTION (4) to win

RACE NINE

CRUZ JOSHUA (6)
is a 2YO tackling the older performers here and is afforded no favours from the outside alley as he chases an elusive win. 4m from GLENEAGLE VEE CEE in the Triad Consoslation, he closed hard for 3rd two back when 2m from JOEYS ON A ROLL. Start 13 can prove the lucky one.

SHOOBEE RIGHT (5) is still chasing a Redcliffe victory after his 10 appearances here on The Triangle have returned 7 minor placings. Out of the money in the Triad Consolation last start following a midfield finish in the heats, limiting the burn will be key to his chances of the breakthrough.

BLONDIEINTHEBACK (4) lines up for just her third career start and might look to get across early. A long way from the winner on debut, she was sharper second up and can be joining in here.

SOMEONES WATCHING (7) made an error last start to end his chances when tackling the AP mile. Runner-up from this gate two starts back, off a soft trip, he can be looking to chime in.

SELECTIONS: CRUZ JOSHUA (6), SHOOBEE RIGHT (5), BLONDIEINTHEBACK (4), SOMEONES WATCHING (7)
SUGGESTED BET: CRUZ JOSHUA (6) to win

RACE TEN

SPICE BOY (5) was a Marburg winner three runs back when finding the front and taking them all the way. Meeting some tougher opposition at his next two, he hit the board in all three Ekka starts which included a victory. If he can get away from the tapes, he can throw it down.

TAKIDAH (8) tackled a mobile event at Marburg last start where she was sent out as the fav from gate 1 and looked to take them all the way. Collared in the last stride when a neck from WHATA CHALLENGE, she missed in three Show appearances, but tucked in here can feature in a wide-open contest.

FRIDAY THIRTEENTH (3) was not too far from the winner MATAI REACTOR here last start which followed a midfield return behind RABY BAY. Placed in 2 of 4 at the show, he is in the mix.

SUBLTE CHAY (10) was asked to hang tough outside the leader here back in July when second up from a spell. Winless in five show appearances since that run, he can chime in here.

SELECTIONS: SPICE BOY (5), TAKIDAH (8), FRIDAY THIRTEENTH (3), SUBLTE CHAY (10)
SUGGESTED BET:
