RACE ONE

EURO BEAT (9) found the 1x1 trail over the AP mile two starts back and had the closing power to descend on them and claim a qualifying victory. Beaten by a wide gate last start after retreating as LORD ZARIAS controlled it in front, this looks a little easier and he can defy the gate to arrive.

LUVBITE (7) takes his first look at The Triangle and arrives after finishing midfield last start in a Peak of The Creek heat behind ARODA. Chasing THE TAX CULLECTOR two starts back, he will be probing.

SHADOW MINISTER (5) eased from a wide gate to settle rearward on the poles last start in a Band 5 event and was making some nice metres in the closing stages behind OBI ONE. He can chime in here.

WINDY HILL WALLY (1) was locked away from inside the second line here two starts back and was darting through on the passing lane when 2m from the winner CAPTAINS PICK. He will be probing.

SELECTIONS: EURO BEAT (9), LUVBITE (7), SHADOW MINISTER (5), WINDY HILL WALLY (1)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-5-7-9

RACE TWO

MIDNIGHT SOMEWHERE (6) goes in search of a hat-trick of victories after wins at the 1780 and then the 2040 last start. Eased from this same gate before arriving in the last strides to score last time, he will be relying on some factors, including the tempo to make the closing volley a winning one.

MIGHTY GEORGE (1) was chasing the threepeat last start when settled in the 1x1 trail as the fav but unable to finish them off. 5m from the winner JILLIBY CHAMBERS, he took them all the way from this gate two starts back and with all the options from the ace, will get his chance to throw it down.

FULLOFIT (3) was a winner over the middle trip here three starts back when forcing the issue and taking control from gate 4. Softened up in front last start over the AP mile, she is in the mix.

SHADYS CULLECT (7) maps for the soft run in behind the action and will be awaiting the gaps to make a play. Asked to hang tough here two starts back, she will be probing and ready to strike.

SELECTIONS: MIDNIGHT SOMEWHERE (6), MIGHTY GEORGE (1), FULLOFIT (3), SHADYS CULLECT (7)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE THREE

FRAYA (1) should appreciate a return to this grade after tackling a strong QBRE 3YO Fillies event last start. Releasing early over the AP 21238 and finishing midfield, she struck trouble two starts back when resuming from a spell. From this gate, she lands every chance to capitalise.

HE SAID SHE SAID (7) was trying to take them all the way last stat in a small field when up in grade, ultimately finishing at the rear, albeit under 9m from the winner PELCIAN FLY. With the chance to secure the economical trip, he can be searching for the gaps to issue a closing challenge.

MISS MIA (8) faced the outside second line last start and was trying to make a late play when 4m from the winner ARTFUL MASTER. This is tougher but she can grab some minor money again.

SUBSTITOOTH (6) was asked to roll the sleeves and do it tough last start when just out of the money behind ONLYSBEST. The wide gate makes it a tough ask again here.

SELECTIONS: FRAYA (1), HE SAID SHE SAID (7), MISS MIA (8), SUBSTITOOTH (6)
SUGGESTED BET: FRAYA (1) to win

RACE FOUR

ZACH LOWE (1) should appreciate an improved gate after facing tougher barriers in his three runs since resuming from a spell. Drawn outside the second line last start, he was trying to make a late play as SMIRKS LIKA BOSS arrived. Strong to the line two starts back, he finds the options to cash in.

JILLIBY CHAMBERS (6) rattled late wide off the track here last week to arrive for a smart victory. Having been campaigning in Saturday night mare’s company for the past two months, she franked her tidy record on this deck which included three wins from her previous four here.

BONNIES DANCE (8) also has a tidy record on this deck, hitting the board in 9 of 14. Making some late metres here last week when runner-up to SMIRKS LIKA BOSS, she can be chiming in late.

MY ULTIMATE VICTOR (4) angled back to the passing lane last start when 6m from the winner PELICAN FLY. Trying to see it out in front the start prior, he is up to featuring in this line up.

SELECTIONS: ZACH LOWE (1), JILLIBY CHAMBERS (6), BONNIES DANCE (8), MY ULTIMATE VICTOR (4)
SUGGESTED BET: ZACH LOWE (1) to win

RACE FIVE

HEY MISTER TAYLOR (3) was issuing a closing rally here last start to get within a head of the winner. Luckless two starts back when searching for a gap that never presented when needed, he can look to get handy to the action and overturn what has been a frustrating season.

BETTYS GOLD CLASS (4) was runner-up here two starts back when releasing over the middle trip and chased late to be 3m from the winner FULLOFIT. Making full use of gate 1 last start to hold then wide and see it out from the front, she has early speed to issue a challenge.

KATLAS DREAM (5) has faced the starter three times since arriving in Qld, with all three in mare’s qualifying grade. Back to Redcliffe can see her in the mix.

ASHLEE NITRO (8) has copped the outside front line in two of her past three which have ended her hopes. With the right trail through early, she can find position to make a podium play.

SELECTIONS: HEY MISTER TAYLOR (3), BETTYS GOLD CLASS (4), KATLAS DREAM (5), ASHLEE NITRO (8)
SUGGESTED BET: HEY MISTER TAYLOR (3) to win

RACE SIX

FLO RYDA (7) angled to the inside last start from a second line gate and using the passing lane was under 3m from the winner SERGIOS ROCKET. Gate 6 stung his hopes two starts back when snagged back and hitting the line in nice order for 3rd. Tucked away, he can look to pinch it.

ALLMIGHTY MAX (2) has tackled qualifying company at his past two starts, the latest when a second line gate over the middle trip proved too much. Under 2m from the winner two starts back when trying to make a closing raid as BLACKJACK BART descended on them, this looks an easier challenge.

TAYLORS FOUR (1) makes her first appearance in Qld for the Ben Battle stable, arriving a seven-time winner from the Central West of NSW. With no public appearance since August, the gate helps.

CHARLIE CHUCKLES (5) was a winner here two starts back when overcoming the outside front-line gate. Beaten by the wide gate over the AP mile last start, back to this deck is a big plus.

SELECTIONS: FLO RYDA (7), ALLMIGHTY MAX (2), TAYLORS FOUR (1), CHARLIE CHUCKLES (5),
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-2-5-7

RACE SEVEN

MY GIRL MANDY (1) tackled the QBRED feature on Saturday night at The Creek and found the middle trip and opposition a hurdle too high. Runner-up from the second line here two starts back when issuing a late play, she lands all the options from this alley to stake her claim.

BEACH ON FIRE (7) made full use of gate 1 last start, leading them up and from the front was in a race of his own, pulling clear to claim a 23m margin. Holding 3rd over the AP mile two starts back when 5m from BEEF CITY BLAZE, he will be searching for openings to throw down the challenge.

TUNGSTEN TERROR (4) was a winner here two starts back when eased from a wide gate before charging home to claim a narrow victory. He can be thereabouts again here.

EXPLANATION NOTED (3) has been runner-up at her past two starts, the latest when chasing home behind BEEF CITY STARZZZ. Settling handy can see her in the money once again.

SELECTIONS: MY GIRL MANDY (1), BEACH ON FIRE (7), TUNGSTEN TERROR (4), EXPLANATION NOTED (3)
SUGGESTED BET: MY GIRL MANDY (1) to win

RACE EIGHT

DATSINAHURRI (3) was not suited last start when tackling the middle trip at HQ and felt the pinch in front, fading out to the rear. Holding on for the bronze two starts back behind MAJOR MONDO, a return to a good gate here on The Triangle will be the catalyst for her to bounce back into winning form.

PURPLE SHADES (9) was in the pocket trail from gate 1 lats start but lost all momentum before the home turn when the leader hoisted the white flag. Making some late metres two starts back when 6m adrift of the winner, three back he was just a half-head away. He can make a closing challenge.

SUBTLE ADVICE (6) rattled last to score over the AP mile two starts back after being snookered in the run, breaking free and arriving in time. 3rd from this gate here last start, he can chime in again.

CHIEF JUJON (4) set the tempo here last start from gate 2 but was a spent force turning for home. Gritty in defeat two starts back when beaten a head after sitting parked, he can bounce back here.

SELECTIONS: DATSINAHURRI (3), PURPLE SHADES (9), SUBTLE ADVICE (6), CHIEF JUJON (4)
SUGGESTED BET: DATSINAHURRI (3) to win

RACE NINE

HEAVENLY WISDOM (9) was a winner from gate 4 on this deck four runs back when snagged to the rear before rattling late to claim a narrow victory. All three runs since that win have been at HQ, placing in two of them, the latest when closing smartly behind MAJOR MONDO. She can arrive here.

DUKE (3) started from inside the second line last start and buried in the run was able to find late space and grab the bronze, finishing 5m from the winner HOIHO. Not that far from the winner two starts back, he has been freshened and can settle handy to challenge.

DIPPED IN SILVER (8) was rizzed up off the arm trying to get across them last start but could not get there and was put out of play. Runner-up in both prior starts, he can be joining in here.

BEAU HART (1) took the trail from this gate last start but could not finish it off at the end of the 2040 trip. Back to the sprint trip, he can get the trip to grab some minor money.

SELECTIONS: HEAVENLY WISDOM (9), DUKE (3), DIPPED IN SILVER (8), BEAU HART (1)
SUGGESTED BET: HEAVENLY WISDOM (9) to win

RACE TEN

SHEEZ GOT TORQUE (8) has been runner-up at her past two as she moves closer to breaking maiden ranks. Looking to lead throughout in each defeat, she was 3m from HELL OF A HAND at The Creek two back before going under to AIR EXPRESS here last start in red figures. She can chase them down.

MAKE IT RAIN (9) is a Hurrikane Kingcole gelding on debut for trainer Ben Crosby out of the G1 winning Shez No Fake. Outside the second line in the last race of the night is no luxury for a 2YO making his first race appearance, but he has trialled soundly in readiness for the first appearance.

DEEP REGRET (3) grabbed the bronze at HQ three starts back when just 3m from the winner. Tacking stronger opposition at his pas two, he can be handy enough to grab a cheque.

BREEZE ON BYE BYE (1) faded out here two starts back behind subsequent winner CYCLONE TONY. Near the rear last start, the inside gate gives her the chance to grab some minor money here.

SELECTIONS: SHEEZ GOT TORQUE (8), MAKE IT RAIN (9), DEEP REGRET (3), BREEZE ON BYE BYE (1)
SUGGESTED BET: SHEEZ GOT TORQUE (8) to win
