RACE 1

The recent form of LANAI (2) has been hard to fault. He landed a winning hat trick here last week when he came from the back row to score by 4.5 metres. Has the benefit of a good draw and should push forward from there. Can extend the winning sequence. MAKARA (7) has been a model of consistency of late and deserved his win last start, leading to score by 1.1 metres at this venue. Has to contend with a wider draw but is going well. GOTTA GO MILKING (3) overcame a second row draw in scoring here two back before chasing Lanai when runner up at his most recent appearance. Drawn to play a role again. APHRODITE (5) must be respected off back-to-back wins.

RACE 2

TIMS A TROOPER (4) has finished runner up in both outings since tackling the Inter Dominion series, last week coming from the back row to go under by 3.4m. Has the hoof on the till and gets his chance returning to the front line. MAKE MINE MEMPHIS (3) is another that enjoyed the drop in grade from the Inter Dominion when coming from a tricky barrier to place at this circuit last time out. A better draw brings him into calculations. POCKET THE CASH (10) has raced parked in his last two starts for a win at this venue and a last-start second at Redcliffe. If things go his way from the second line he can play a role. PACIFICO DREAM (8) is drawn to get a nice trail so is worth some thought.

RACE 3

A win looks imminent for GLOVER (3) after placing in his last four outings, last week leading and sticking on for third. He should push forward again from the low draw and gets his chance to break through. MURPHYS REWARD (1) did a good job in his first outing for the new yard when 1.5 metres from the winner in third at this circuit. Owns a strong record at this distance and is drawn to get the favours. CATSEYE BEACH (9) has been freshened since his last outing where he sat parked and worked but stuck on to finish second at this venue. Genuine threat with a touch of luck. KATACHA MAN (2) has drawn to advantage and deserves respect after racing wide in a last-start second.

RACE 4

SWEET MIRACLE (10) has been flying since heading north, making it three wins in a row at this circuit when getting home by more then 2 metres last week. That took her record at the distance to four from six and while she cops a tougher draw she is going well enough to overcome it. BRONSKI DELIGHT (4) toughed out a win here two starts back before placing behind Sweet Miracle last week. Draws better than that rival this time so gets her chance to turn the tables. MADRIGAL (7) is racing consistently having placed in her three starts here since a Redcliffe win, all of those coming from back row draws. She is a threat to the top selections. ORCHID STRIDE (9) is building in fitness and could be ready to strike after placing from this barrier last week.

RACE 5

REDS STAR DEAL (9) has been solid in his two starts since scoring a win at Redcliffe. He may need a touch of luck from this draw but his best form is good enough to win a race like this. MIGHTY GEORGE (6) is going well having recorded his second win from his last three starts when he scored by 4.4 metres at this circuit last week. Draws wider but he is going well enough to cope. MOTU CULLEN (3) brings good form from Redcliffe with a string of top-three finishes including a win two back. A low draw can see him competitive. HIGHVIEW SADLER (7) strikes at 50 per cent here including a win two back so is worth some thought.

RACE 6

HEAVENLY WISDOM (4) proved too strong along the sprint lane when she scored by close to 5 metres at this circuit and distance last week. That was her second success from her last four outings and she returns to the front row so gets every chance to deliver again. MISS EX (7) hasn't raced since the Riverina Regional Championships at Wagga last May where she was runner up in a heat. Has joined a new yard since and races well fresh so can measure up off a couple of trials. KATLAS DREAM (5) is on the radar after a solid effort for fourth here a week ago. BONNIES DANCE (10) may need a touch of luck from this draw but is worth some thought off a win here two back.

RACE 7

SHELL SHOCK (7) arrived from WA with consistent form and performed well in his first local outing, beaten just a nose into second in a higher-graded race at this circuit. He draws a couple of spots wider but will appreciate the class drop. BOGLE MCNEEP (6) missed by just a nose at his Australian debut then atoned with a 1.8m win at this venue last week. He is lightly raced with plenty of upside. BRONSKI ZULU (4) finished off his juvenile season with a win by 7 metres at this circuit. He can measure up to older rivals. FIAS CHARM (3) went to the paddock a winner here in August and has been readied with a trial win so keep safe.

RACE 8

COPY WRITER (6) is working up to a win with a string of nice efforts at this circuit, last time leading and sticking on for second. She draws wider but was beaten only 1.6m from this barrier two back so has winning claims. SISTA BLISS (7) should find this easier than her last attempt when midfield and had put together a string of placings before that. She draws out but was runner up from this barrier two back and is reliable. Tricky draw for FRAYA (10) but she is worth plenty of thought off a last-start win by 5.6 metres at this venue. LA SABINA (4) has claims off a win from a similar barrier here two back.

RACE 9

VAN SANK (5) enjoyed the drop in grade from the Inter Dominion Final when he led from a similar barrier to score by 3.2m here a fortnight ago. He gets every chance to back that up. ADELLE (7) hasn't raced since the Inter Dominion series where she broke in the final but placed twice in the heats. With manners she has the quality to win back to this level. KINGDOM COME (3) is racing well having scored from a 20m handicap here two back before chasing Van Sank as runner up last start. Draws to make an impact again. SCRUFFY DOOLAN (4) has been about the mark of late with back-to-back placings so must be respected.
