RACE ONE

SHARP SHOOTER (5) has shown good improvement at each appearance since resuming from a spell for the new stable. Fourth up last start when drawn the second line, he was closing it out in good order when runner-up to AQUA CRUISER. Despite the tricky gate, he can capitalise.

BATMAN BART (8) faced a second line gate at AP last start and finished best to claim a 2m margin. Chasing FRAME DRIVE at Marburg the start prior, he can trail through early here and with the right tempo look to issue a challenge.

FRAME DRIVE (4) has won two of his past four, both wins coming at Marburg when on the fence. Too far back last start over the AP mile, settling handy would boost his chances.

HIGHLY RESPECTED (9) eased from gate 6 two starts back and from deep field was making late metres to grab 3rd. With the right trail, she can chime in.

SELECTIONS: SHARP SHOOTER (5), BATMAN BART (8), FRAME DRIVE (4), HIGHLY RESPECTED (9)
SUGGESTED BET: SHARP SHOOTER (5) to win

RACE TWO

CAPTAIN OH CAPTAIN (6) has drawn awkwardly but looks to hold an edge over his opposition. Forcing the issue from gate 5 at HQ two starts back, he was able to grip on for the bronze behind BRAEVIEW FELLA. He can defy the gate to capitalise here.

LORD DENZEL (5) will be backing up from the AP mile on Friday where he looked a podium contender. Fading after going too hard through the first panel two starts back, a return to the three-turn deck will be in his favour.

AROONA (3) burrowed through from gate 1 last start in looking to take them all the way but faded in the closing stages. Settling in the running line here, a place looks best.

MAMMALS DESTINY (8) was not suited at the 2040 last start which had followed a tidy effort when parked. The right cover can see her feature.

SELECTIONS: CAPTAIN OH CAPTAIN (6), LORD DENZEL (5), AROONA (3), MAMMALS DESTINY (8)
SUGGESTED BET: CAPTAIN OH CAPTAIN (6) to win

RACE THREE

AUNTY FRANCES (5) was sent forward from gate 7 over the sprint trip at The Creek last start and after being exposed early, faded over the latter stages. Buried from inside the second line the start prior, she might just clear them here and from the front would take stitching.

CALL ME TRISH (8) looks a clear threat in this line up and will be looming large. Strong to the line after faced with gate 7 at HQ last start, she was closing it out well two back when midfield. With the right trip, she will throw down the challenge.

ALWAYS AT NIGHT (1) was shuffled back from this gate last start and with the inside run grabbed 3rd. A similar trip can see a similar result.

MISS PAU (2) has been runner-up in two of her past three starts, the latest when chasing BATMAN BART and finishing 2m adrift. This gate can see her in the mix.

SELECTIONS: AUNTY FRANCES (5), CALL ME TRISH (8), ALWAYS AT NIGHT (1), MISS PAU (2)
SUGGESTED BET: AUNTY FRANCES (5) to win

RACE FOUR

NAUTIE GALVINATOR (6) completed a hat-trick of victories last start when finding the front and taking them all the way from gate 2 over the AP mile. Finishing it off nicely, the middle leg of the threepeat saw him overcome this gate at the sprint and he can look to repeat in an open affair.

TRUE GRIT SHADOW (2) settled in the 1x1 trail last start from a second line gate and when set free loomed strongly and claimed an effortless 2m margin. 5m in arrears of MAJOR MONDO the start prior over this trip, the ten furlongs looks his biggest obstacle to challenging.

MY ULTIMATE RUDI (5) was buried away from inside the second line last start over the AP 2138 and when the gap presented, darted through to score. The gate stings but he is right in the fight.

DEVOUGED (8) was sent forward from this alley to sit parked last start and after the tough trip was unable to finish it off. There should be better tempo here to chime in late.

SELECTIONS: NAUTIE GALVINATOR (6), TRUE GRIT SHADOW (2), MY ULTIMATE RUDI (5), DEVOUGED (8)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE FIVE

WOODLEA DIEGO (1) should find this a shade easier than his latest assignment when tackling tougher company in town when fading late as BANGKOK DEEJAY arrived. Two starts back he took them all the way at Marburg and with all the favours and options can capitalise here.

BRIAN CHRISTOPHER (2) has been ticking away in good order without winning and last start went within a half-neck of victory behind NICKS PICK. A tidy effort two starts back when 7m astern of CALL ME KEITH, he can be handy enough to the action to issue a challenge.

PLAYA PLANCA (3) was chasing in vain behind the flying SWEET MIRACLE in a mare’s event two starts back and three back struck trouble in the run. Limiting the early burn will be key.

AQUA SANCTA (7) has the second line options here and with the chance for the economical trip will be ready to make a podium play.

SELECTIONS: WOODLEA DIEGO (1), BRIAN CHRISTOPHER (2), PLAYA PLANCA (3), AQUA SANCTA (7)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-2-3-7

RACE SIX

WHATA CHALLENGE (5) ease from this gate two starts back and from deep field was trying to make a late play when midfield behind HURRIKANE KING. Too far back from a wide second line gate at Marburg last start, he finds the right opposition here to capitalise.

BUSTN FEELZ GOOD (7) will be relying on some factors in his favour here, with not much in his favour in recent appearances. Beaten by a wide gate last start when retreating, he will be searching for the openings to throw down a challenge.

CRIME BOSS (8) could not get into it last start over the 2040 when well covered as BARKWAY MARGARET pulled clear. Not far behind TORQUE WRITER the start prior, he is in the mix.

KEAYANG SPOONGE BOB (1) resumes from a spell after striking trouble and finishing tailed off at his last appearance. Runner-up via the passing lane three back, he can feature here.

SELECTIONS: WHATA CHALLENGE (5), BUSTN FEELZ GOOD (7), CRIME BOSS (8), KEAYANG SPOONGE BOB (1)
SUGGESTED BET: WHATA CHALLENGE (5) to win
