RACE ONE

DATTITUDE (6) started from the second line here last time out and was sent forward to sit parked over the 2040 trip. IN for the fight when holding the silver behind ASHLEE NITRO who has been a subsequent winner, he gets back to the mile and the front line to give him the chance to cash in.

ILLBEWATCHING (2) tackled the AP mile last start when making a closing raid to get within a neck of the winner yet was not in the placings. Runner-up at both prior appearances from second line gates, he has the early speed to find a forward position and issue the challenge.

ROCK HAMMER (5) was returning from a spell last start when eased from gate 6 to find the poles. Looking for shortcuts, the effort was sectionally sound, and he can tighten second up.

FIRE AND ICE (9) eased from gate 5 last time out to find position and angling to the inside was then attacking the passing lane when 1m astern of the winner. Close up of late, he can chime in again.

SELECTIONS: DATTITUDE (6), ILLBEWATCHING (2), ROCK HAMMER (5), FIRE AND ICE (9)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE TWO

ROSARITO (1) tried to make full use of this gate last start and burrowed through to lead them up. Turing for home with a narrow margin, he was unable to maintain it as TORQUE IN CONTROL powered on by. Beaten in the last stride here three back when leading, he will be gripping on.

ROLLONX (9) has won two of his past three starts, the latest from a similar gate when saved for the closing shot on them. Descending in the latter stages to claim a 1m margin last time, he fired out from gate 5 to set the tempo and see them off three back. He can be chiming in again here.

VODKA EN ICE (8) has another second line gate to contend with, the same scenario he faced last start when wide trying to make a closing raid. Placed his previous four in succession, he has claims.

SUBTLE ADVICE (3) faded out over the closing stages last start as subsequent winner TYPHOON TORQUE claimed victory. Limiting the early burn will be key to his podium chances.

SELECTIONS: ROSARITO (1), ROLLONX (9), VODKA EN ICE (8), SUBTLE ADVICE (3)
SUGGESTED BET: ROSARITO (1) to win

RACE THREE

PRECOCIOUS KATE (2) was a winner here four runs bac when overcoming a wide front-line gate and hitting the line strongly for a tidy victory. Snagged back before hitting the line again for the bronze two starts back, she returns to the main draw and with the good alley can look to capitalise.

ARKUNA (1) has been runner-up at her past two starts, the latest when darting along the passing lane to run the winner to a half-head. Collared in the last stride when setting the tempo two starts back after leading every step bar the one that counted, she has the gate to challenge.

REESY (7) was returning from a spell for the new stable last week when sent to the post deep into the red. Rolling forward to sit parked and coming up a neck short of victory, she will be probing here.

WATCHING RICKY (6) was first up I seven months for the new stable last start. Making an early error, he chases well behind BOGLE MCNEEP to grab the bronze and will strip fitter for the outing.

SELECTIONS: PRECOCIOUS KATE (2), ARKUNA (1), REESY (7), WATCHING RICKY (6)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-2-6-7

RACE FOUR

SUNRISE RUBY (1) set the tempo in a mare’s qualifier last start and was trying to repel the challengers in finishing 3rd, just 3m astern of the winner FLARE UP. Hitting the line strongly the start prior to grab 2nd behind ANGELSHAVTIME, she has the options and a smart Redcliffe record.

BONNIES CAM (8) started from gate 4 over the AP mile last time out when finding the running line from gate 4 and trying to work into the contest when 4m from the winner NICKS PICK. Fading after setting a slick first 1000 the start prior, a return to Redcliffe can see him throw down a challenge.

KATACHA MAN (4) has been doing the Saturday night circuit chasing a qualifying victory and performing well without much in his favour. Buried last start, he can make a play in this.

HOLDINGNO CURRENCY (2) steps up here but brings winning form after overcoming second line gates at his past two starts. Using the passing lane to score last time, he has podium claims.

SELECTIONS: SUNRISE RUBY (1), BONNIES CAM (8), KATACHA MAN (4), HOLDINGNO CURRENCY (2)
SUGGESTED BET: SUNRISE RUBY (1) to win

RACE FIVE

CANDYKANE (7)
did not have the smoothest passage last start and did well to return a midfield finish behind COLLECT A DIME. Relying on some factors in her favour from this gate, if she is sitting leaders back turning for home with the momentum, she can finish them off.

OUR UNCLE LES (1) was sent forward to sit parked last start and after the tough trip faded over the closing stages. Making metres from back in the pack the start prior behind SALS LAST BLAST, he can look to make the most of the good gate and will be gripping on in the stretch.

BERTILS FIREFOX (3) started from gate 1 last start and was beaten to the lamp lighting duties and was soon buried away. Grabbing the bronze when 4m astern, he can be thereabouts once again.

SCHOOBY (5) was a winner from gate 4 here four runs back and then two starts back found the front from gate 6 when grabbed in the closing strides. Despite the wide gate, he is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: CANDYKANE (7), OUR UNCLE LES (1), BERTILS FIREFOX (3), SCHOOBY (5)
SUGGESTED BET:
CANDYKANE (7) win/place

RACE SIX

WILLIEWA LIGHTNING (1) seps out fresh up after his last appearance came at Marburg back in early December. Beaten by the outside front line gate on that occasion, the start prior, it was the outside second line which was his undoing. From this alley he can strike fresh.

WHATA REACTOR (8) was runner-up here three starts back when securing the 1x1 trail and finishing best of the chaser behind the 9m victor ROLLONX. Drawn the second line in both subsequent appearances, she is off the back again and can be trying to mount a challenge.

DOLLARBILL (2) has been below his best in recent outings but snares the gate and the opposition to turn things around. With second line gates his past two, he can sharpen things up here.

THE CROM (7) started from gate 2 here two starts back where he was able to grab some minor money. Not that far away last start, he can be tucked away and ready to chime in.

SELECTIONS: WILLIEWA LIGHTNING (1), WHATA REACTOR (8), DOLLARBILL (2), THE CROM (7)
SUGGESTED BET: WILLIEWA LIGHTNING (1) to win

RACE SEVEN

CONVAIR HUSTLER (5)
might just have found the right conditions to break the drought after going winless through 2023. Closing strongly last start over the AP mile when 3rd behind WESTERN ACTION, he was only a half-neck away here three runs back. This looks within reach.

LAZY BLAZE (1) resumes from a let up after his last appearance came back in December where he did some early work before fading out. Bady gates were against him in two previous outings and with the improved alley, he can make a play fresh up.

MISS LILY MAY (2) tried to capitalise on the inside gate last week but after copping some pressure to hod the front, faded out. Settling handy with less pressure can see her feature.

CHAMPAGNE REACTOR (6) was a winner here three runs back when sent forward from gate 4 to take control and see it out. At the rear at her past two, an effort like that three back has her in the mix.

SELECTIONS: CONVAIR HUSTLER (5), LAZY BLAZE (1), MISS LILY MAY (2), CHAMPAGNE REACTOR (6)
SUGGESTED BET: CONVAIR HUSTLER (5) to win
