He looks nicely placed dropping in grade and should get every chance from the ace draw. FIRE AND ICE (2) has been competitive from wider barriers of late. He was beaten just over 2m into third two back then kept the ball rolling last time when less than 4 metres from the winner at this venue. Has the benefit of a good draw. Leading hope. WHOSTOLEMYPIGEON (4) is on the radar after some consistent form, last-start coming from the back row for fourth. MOUNT HERCULES (8) is close to a win after placing in four of his last five starts, the latest a second when also drawn on the back line.
RACE 2
TACTFILLY MIRACLE (1) came from this same barrier last start when she scored by more than 2 metres, giving her two wins and a placing from her last three outings at this circuit. This should pan out well for her. Leading hope again. AQUA CRUISER (6) is racing in fine form having made it two wins in a row at this circuit when he got the cash by close to 4 metres last week. Meets some better types and has to overcome the wide draw but winning form is hard to knock. ILLBEWATCHING (8) produced a strong effort when runner-up here last time, his third placing from his last four outings. With even luck from the back row he is a player. BLISSFULDAY (7) has been solid in recent outings and is drawn for a trail.
RACE 3
ESCOBAR (8) put the writing on the wall last start when he was forced to work but fought hard to be beaten by just a nose at Albion Park. He strikes at 50 per cent at this circuit and won the only time he raced over this distance. Looks ready to win. THE BEAUDEN BLUES (4) has been competitive of late and kept the ball rolling last time when fourth at Albion Park. Makes his first visit to this venue but has the talent to take this out. Hard to knock the recent consistency of DOCTA FEELGOOD (3) who recorded his fourth successive runner up result here last week. He is drawn to play a role again. MYDADSAID (7) scored back-to-back wins before the latest attempt and is unbeaten at this distance so must be respected.
RACE 4
VODKA EN ICE (7) is in good form and looks close to a win after placing in his last three outings at this circuit when drawn wider on the back row. No harm in drawing here with the sprint lane to rely upon. Gets his chance to strike. ROSARITO (2) registered a strong performance last time when he led and fought on bravely to just miss out by a nose. He can push forward again from another low draw. Leading hope. FUNNILY ENOUGH (1) led to win in good style last start at Marburg so can give a big sight from the ace draw. CHANGINGOFTHEGUARD (6) is worth thought after delivering with a last-start win by a head at this circuit.
RACE 5
MONTEREY JACK (5) has been competitive of late with a string of top-four finishes and kept the ball rolling last time when 4 metres from the winner at this circuit. Draws a couple of spots wider but is suited easing back in grade. Finds a suitable assignment and can grab a well-deserved win. SCHOOBY (6) was solid in fifth from the back row last start at Albion Park after a good win at this venue the start prior. He is suited returning to this circuit and is in the right race to return to form. CONNIES SPIRIT (2) found winning form last start and is worth plenty of thought from the favourable draw. HOIHO (3) performed below market expectations last time but is worth another chance off his prior solid form.
RACE 6
SALS LAST BLAST (1) had put the writing on the wall with back-to-back placings before she registered a commanding victory last start, leading to score by more than 9 metres at this circuit. She has the speed to take advantage of the ace draw so can go on with the job. OUR UNCLE LES (9) has been competitive of late. He was a winner here last month and looks close to another success following back-to-back seconds, last time when 3 metres from the winner from this same barrier. If things pan out his way he can take this out. JIMMY JOYCE (5) is heading the right way, improving last time out to finish third at this venue. He can be involved again. CANDYKANE (8) will be fitter for recent racing so could be ready to show more.
RACE 7
TAMARAH (2) is a lightly-raced but progressive filly who came from the back row for a debut win here two back then led and fought on to go under by just a head last week. Gets the same draw so should push forward again. Top chance. ISLA AND ADDIE (4) continued her consistent form from last campaign when she resumed and finished 1.1 metres away in third at this circuit. She will be fitter for that last hit-out so can progress. THE TAX EVADER (9) draws the back row but came from there in a last-start win by 3.2 metres at this venue. Chance to go back-to-back. The ace draw brings ARKUNA (1) into calculations.
RACE 8
ROLLONX (9) proved far too good at his most recent outing when he scored by 9 metres in a nice return to form at this circuit. May need an ounce of luck from this draw but if it comes his way he should be right in the finish. ROCK IT BABY (1) has taken on higher-graded races at Albion Park in the last two outings so will enjoy the class drop. The ace draw gives him every chance. GHOST TRAIN (3) came from the back row to place last start, beaten only 1.1m. A favourable draw can see him involved again. FEELING THE POWER (5) was beaten just a head from this same barrier last week. Contender.
RACE 9
CONVAIR HUSTLER (5) chased strongly along the sprint lane to go under by just a head here last time out. He cops a wider draw but meets a comparable field so is a winning hope with even luck. HURRIKANE KING (6) may appreciate the return to this venue where he came from the second line to score by 7m two back. Another drawn wide but he has the ability to measure up to these. MAMMALS DESTINY (2) wasn't disgraced after working last time. She is in the mix from a low draw. FEEL THE THRILL (3) led from wider last start so should be prominent from this favourable barrier.
RACE 10
YUKON BE SERIOUS (5) made a good start to her career when she clocked in third at Albion Park. She'll be improved by the experience and looks nicely placed so goes on top. TIPPIN IT (7) has been racing consistently having recorded a string of placings before a last-start fourth at this venue. Drawn for a trail so should be in the finish. TAKE COURAGE (3) recorded back-to-back placings here last month and draws well so is in the mix if she produces her best. YELLA (1) has come from wide or second row barriers in the last couple of outings so can improve from the ace draw.
