HUGO GEORGE (3) had been knocking on the door and finally found a way to burst through when arriving for victory here two starts back. A beaten fav last start from the inside gate when 1m from PERFECT TREND, he finds the right opposition to bounce back.

INCOGNITO (8) was asked to sit parked last start, where despite the tough run he was able to graft out a tough 3rd when under 2m from the winner PYRRHIC DANCER. Close up in his previous two outings which had followed a dictating win, he just needs a slice of luck.

MONTEREI DUKE (5) has been in super form since arriving in Qld and last start stepped out a strong mile from the front. This is a rise in grade, but his efforts cannot be ignored.

FRANCO MACHO (2) has struggled to recapture his best but was sharper last start when hitting the line from deep field. Settling closer to the action can lift his chances.

SELECTIONS: HUGO GEORGE (3), INCOGNITO (8), MONTEREI DUKE (5), FRANCO MACHO (2)
SUGGESTED BET: HUGO GEORGE (3)

RACE TWO

OFFYAROCKER CROCKER (5) was taken to Redcliffe last time out when securing the trial from inside the second line. Best of the chasing pack behind EURO BEAT, he finds the right set up here to get forward to capitalise.

SAN MAREA (1) was working in the early stages at Tamworth last start when trying to secure position but could not go with them in the latter stages as MOSSDALE TERRY proved too classy. Her conversion rate on this track is not great, but she secures her chance to throw it down.

LOUTHARIO (4) was hitting the line in nice fashions last start after a cheap trip against the markers when three back as WHAT ROLLER dictated in front. He can be thereabouts.

ALTA EQUUS (8) makes his first appearance in Qld on the big deck after his only run in the Sunshine State came when wide off the track at Redcliffe. A soft trip can see him chime in.

SELECTIONS: OFFYAROCKER CROCKER (5), SAN MAREA (1), LOUTHARIO (4), ALTA EQUUS (8)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE THREE

GO COLOUR MY WORLD (10) resumed from a spell four runs back and all four results probably do not tell the real tale. Making some nice metres in the latter stages last time behind SHEZA CRACKER, he finds the right line up here looking to capitalise.

ARTS PEREGRINE (8) has been runner-up at three of his past five starts, the latest when finishing the best of the chasing pack behind MONTEREI DIKE which was able to run a slick mile from the front. With the map to be securing the economical trip, he can pounce late.

ROCKNROLL DA GAMA (3) was able to cash in last time when settling in the running line from gate 2 and then able to power home and pull clear to a 9m margin. He is in the mix again.

SWEET RIPPIN (1) scored at Redcliffe two starts back when pressing forward to take control. Releasing the front last time when runner-up to FACT FINDER, the gate helps her chances.

SELECTIONS: GO COLOUR MY WORLD (10), ARTS PEREGRINE (8), ROCKNROLL DA GAMA (3), SWEET RIPPIN (1)
SUGGESTED BET: GO COLOUR MY WORLD (10) to win

RACE FOUR

FANTASY BLASTER (1) features in a stable switch to join Team Veivers after a last start fade out from gate 5 when trying to take them all the way. With good arm hustle, she secures all the options here to make the first outing a successful one.

CRIME TIME (10) was stuck for position here two starts back when forced to retreat before making good metres in the closing stages to finish midfield. Sent to sit parked last start, it was a gritty effort to hold on for the bronze and he can be joining in here to offer a challenge.

HESLUVABLE (7) has placed at his past four in succession, the latest from the second line when hitting the line strongly to be just a head short of the winner. The gate dents his chances.

SHESA POCKETROCKET (9) was best of the chasing pack behind ROCKNROLL DA GAMA last time out. Buried in a mare’s qualifier the start prior, she is a podium hope in this line up.

SELECTIONS: FANTASY BLASTER (1), CRIME TIME (10), HESLUVABLE (7), SHESA POCKETROCKET (9)
SUGGESTED BET: FANTASY BLASTER (1) to win

RACE FIVE

MUSIC MOTH (2) fired off the arm from gate 6 last time out at the mile and was out of bullets a long way from home when finishing rearward. A tough effort from the wide gate two starts back and finishing under 2m from the winner MAYWYN TROUBADOR, she can bounce back here.

FULLOFIT (4) made a critical error last start at Redcliffe to end her chances as she then finished midfield behind ASHLEE NITRO. Using the passing lane when attempting to make ground the start prior behind that same winner, she can press forward here to issue a challenge.

STRUTTY (8) started from the inside alley last start when tacking on a second division qualifier when down the line behind CLASS TO THE MAX. With the options, he can chime in here.

AQUA CRUISER (5) has yet to claim a victory here at headquarters after 25 attempts, netting just five minors. 3rd when chasing a Redcliffe hat-trick two starts back, he can grab a minor.

SELECTIONS: MUSIC MOTH (2), FULLOFIT (4), STRUTTY (8), AQUA CRUISER (5)
SUGGESTED BET: MUSIC MOTH (2) to win

RACE SIX

VALLANI MAGIC (3) tackled a Saturday night mare’s contest last time out where she was trying to issue the closing play, finishing just a half-neck from the winner TACTFILLY MIRACLE. Under 4m from the winner two starts back, she can settle close enough to capitalise.

SALS LAST BLAST (8) has the second line options as the only runner out the back. Chasing a hat-trick of Redcliffe victories last start, he came up short when forced to sit parked. He takes his first look at the big deck here and can secure the right run to issue a challenge.

GRACENAVA (6) is given no favours from the wide gate after fading last start in slick time after being sent to sit parked. In for the fight two starts back behind SHEZA CRACKER, she has claims.

OCEAN LANE (2) burrowed through to hold them wide at Redcliffe last start but was unable to grip on for the minor money as MILLIE FRANCIS arrived. She can be in the hunt again.

SELECTIONS: VALLANI MAGIC (3), SALS LAST BLAST (8), GRACENAVA (6), OCEAN LANE (2)
SUGGESTED BET: VALLANI MAGIC (3) to win

RACE SEVEN

CAPTAIN OH CAPTAIN (1) was sent out deep into the red two starts back from gate 6 at Redcliffe but was able to defy the barrier to score a 3m margin. Unable to get across from gate 3 last time and forced to park out, the gate gives him the chance to improve his AP figures.

MY SECRET BEACH (2) resumed from a spell when runner-up at Marburg and then when third up was able to take them all the way here over the sprint trip. Firing off the arm and looking to dictate last start, he missed the money. He lands the chance to throw it down to them here.

PUNTERS JEWEL (4) had trialled in smart fashion in readiness for her debut and was able to frank those efforts with a win at her first outing. With the next step up a tough one, she can grab a minor.

CHEDDAR MADE BETA (5) was looking to go three from three for the new year when holding on for the bronze here three starts back behind PUSHINIT UPHILL. He can be thereabouts here.

SELECTIONS: CAPTAIN OH CAPTAIN (1), MY SECRET BEACH (2), PUNTERS JEWEL (4), CHEDDAR MADE BETA (5)
SUGGESTED BET: CAPTAIN OH CAPTAIN (1) to win
