Racing Queensland advises the race meeting scheduled for Saturday, March 2 on the course proper at the Gold Coast Turf Club, has now been transferred to the Polytrack.
This will allow for works to be completed on the course proper.
The change has necessitated amendments to some races and distances on the program. They are:
- Benchmark 78 Handicap 1200m has been deleted;
- Benchmark 75 Handicap 1700m has been deleted;
- Class 3 Handicap 1400m has been deleted;
- Class 2 Handicap 1100m, is now a Benchmark 65 Handicap 1200m;
- Benchmark 62 Handicap 1700m, is now a Benchmark 58 Handicap 1540m;
- Maiden Handicap 1400, is now 1540m;
- Maiden Handicap 1100, remains 1100m; and
- 2YO Maiden Plate 1200m has been deleted.
Four additional races have been added to the program:
- Benchmark 55 Handicap 1900m;
- Benchmark 55 Handicap 1050m;
- Class 1 Plate (Set Weights) 1200m; and
- Maiden Plate 1900m.
