RACE ONE

TAURUS BROMAC (7) will be relying on some factors in his favour, but he looks to have enough edge to capitalise. Beaten after starting in red figures two runs back when resuming from a spell, he could not get warm last start when 4th. With the right trip, he can arrive in this.

TRUE ORIGINS (4) resumes from a spell after a last start fade out over the AP mile in much tougher company. With a tidy prepping trial, he can challenge fresh in an open contest.

SPEEDY SPORT (8) makes his first Qld appearance off the back of a last start 2nd at Young when locked away against the inside. Not that far away his previous two starts, he has podium claims.

COCOLYN (6) faced the outside second line at Marburg two starts back and set alight down the back stretch on the final occasion, reeled them in to score. Striking trouble last start, manners look to be her vice.

SELECTIONS: TAURUS BROMAC (7), TRUE ORIGINS (4), SPEEDY SPORT (8), COCOLYN (6)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE TWO

ROCKIN CHIKA (2) was locked away from the inside second line last start and never found the space to offer. Not suited two back after repelled for the front, she finds the conditions to get to the front and if able to pinch a panel or two, will get her chance to see them off.

BERTILS FIREFOX (1) was asked to hang tough when parked outside the leader last start and faded after working in the run. Hitting the line in nice order here three starts back when 4m astern of the winner, he looks set for the perfect trip to issue the challenge.

SUBTLE ADVICE (7) will be tucked away in the run here but should benefit from the economical trip. Using the passing lane to be 4m away two starts back, he will be probing.

GOSLING IN FLIGHT (5) found the right conditions here last start and was able to arrive over the top for a 6m margin. The wide gate dents the chances of a repeat.

SELECTIONS: ROCKIN CHIKA (2), BERTILS FIREFOX (1), SUBTLE ADVICE (7), GOSLING IN FLIGHT (5)
SUGGESTED BET:
Exotics 1-2-6-7

RACE THREE

JET FORCE (6) is afforded no favours from the outside paint, but he might just have enough edge to overcome the impediment. Looming strongly here last start where he looked set to score, RANCHO MAN grabbed him in the last strides. Despite the gate, he can capitalise.

HEAVENLY WISDOM (4) should appreciate a return to this deck and this grade of opponent after meeting tougher opposition at HQ in recent starts. Midfield three back from a wide gate, she was not suited at the 2138 two back behind CYCLONE TONY. This looks more appealing.

DATSINAHURRI (8) fired out from gate 1 here last start and looking to see them off, had to settle for the bronze behind FOVEAUX MAJOR. The second line stings her chances.

MAGIC NITRO (5) could not go when the power went on last start, while two starts back she was not that far from the winner. The wide gate stings in a race for the minors is wide open.

SELECTIONS: JET FORCE (6), HEAVENLY WISDOM (4), DATSINAHURRI (8), MAGIC NITRO (5)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE FOUR

FOVEAUX MAJOR (5) was able to secure the 1x1 here last start and with the ideal trip finished over the top of them to claim a 4m margin. Snookered in the run two starts back before making a late raid for the bronze, he has no issue with the middle trip, unlike some of his opposition.

CRIME TIME (4) has missed the money just once in five attempts here on The Triangle, which was his latest outing when striking trouble in the run. A gritty 3rd two starts back when parked, he can get forward to issue a challenge.

MAJOR LINCOLN (9) eased from gate 6 last start to find position and was making some good metres in the closing stages. Stripping fitter for the run, he can be chiming in here.

LONDON LADY (3) made the most of conditions here five runs back when finding the front and taking them all the way over this trip. A Marburg winner two back, she is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: FOVEAUX MAJOR (5), CRIME TIME (4), MAJOR LINCOLN (9), LONDON LADY (3)
SUGGESTED BET: FOVEAUX MAJOR (5) to win

RACE FIVE

COUNT MONTECARLO (5) returns for another Winter campaign after finishing midfield at Penrith in his past two starts. Hitting the board in all five attempts on this deck last season, if positioning cheaply, he finds the right opposition to capitalise.

MY GIRL MANDY (7) eased from gate 5 last start before closing it out strongly to arrive for a 3m margin. Strong to the line the start prior when runner-up, if she is leaders back hitting the lane with momentum, she will throw it down.

BLACKJACK BETH (1) took cover at the middle trip from this gate last start and was soon out of play as MISTER DOMINGO scored a dominant victory. The gate and options aid her chances.

GINA DEL RAY (9) is a newcomer to the Sunshine State that joins the Donny Smith team. A Temora winner two starts back, her form this season suggests she is up to this.

SELECTIONS: COUNT MONTECARLO (5), MY GIRL MANDY (7), BLACKJACK BETH (1), GINA DEL RAY (9)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE SIX

WONDERWOMAN JUJON (1) has struggled to recapture her best this season, however there were encouraging signs last start over the AP mile. Working early before receiving cover, she was just behind the placings and from the gate, she finds her chance to regain winning form.

ROSARITO (7) found ideal conditions last start and with some added favours in transit, was able to blow his rivals away to secure a 2m margin. With the chance to trail the speed, he can wait for the gaps to throw down a challenge.

MAFFIOSO GIRL (4) was second up from a spell last start when pressing through from the second line and able to charge to the front and then grip on. She is right in the fight once again.

ARTS PEREGRINE (5) eased from gate 5 last start to secure position before finishing off smartly to grab the silver. Luckless the start prior, he can be chiming in late.

SELECTIONS: WONDERWOMAN JUJON (1), ROSARITO (7), MAFFIOSO GIRL (4), ARTS PEREGRINE (5)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-4-5-7

RACE SEVEN

SHEREACTS (4) has been runner-up at her past two starts, the latest when pressing forward from gate 5 to sit parked and grind it out over the 2040. A tough effort at the AP mile two starts back, she finds the set up to force the issue again here and looks up to the task.

PAGO PAGO (8) has been consistent this season and last start made the most of a favourable gate to pounce on the lead and take them all the way. Overcoming gate 6 to score here three starts back, he can follow through for position and be making a closing challenge.

REASON TO BE (6) joins the Donny Smith stable and faces a wide gate first up from a spell. Midfield last start behind TIGER BY THE TAIL, he stays under notice.

BETTER THAN LEXY (9) has been snookered in the run at his past two starts resulting from his lack of early speed. Hitting the line strongly in each, he can be winding up late here.

SELECTIONS: SHEREACTS (4), PAGO PAGO (8), REASON TO BE (6), BETTER THAN LEXY (9)
SUGGESTED BET: SHEREACTS (4) to win

RACE EIGHT

DATTITUDE (4) forced the issue last start to work to the front and with a genuine tempo set throughout, was collared in the closing stages by CAPTAINS PICK. Too gritty for the opposition when sitting parked to score two back, he can chase another win on his home deck.

MONSIEUR DELACOUR (5) was sent to the post as fav here last start and from gate 2 was soon locked away in the run. Finding the space late and descending to get within a half-neck of the winner, the gate is awkward, but off his last start, can issue a challenge in this.

MOTU CULLEN (1) capitalised on a drop in grade here last start and dominated the opposition to post a 10m margin. With a good trip from, he will have taken confidence from the win.

THERESACHANCE (2) faced a second line gate last start and made some late metres for the bronze behind FLO RYDA. Leading throughout the start prior, the gate will be a big plus.

SELECTIONS: DATTITUDE (4), MONSIEUR DELACOUR (5), MOTU CULLEN (1), THERESACHANCE (2)
SUGGESTED BET: DATTITUDE (4) to win
