RACE ONE

Sent back to the trials after making a mess of things last start, HIDE AND SEEK (4) earned a return ticket with two powerful hit outs. Massive in victory after making an error tow starts back, he has many vices, but there is a serious motor and if he trots, he wins.

KODA DA MODA (2) was building towards a victory after some consistent performances and here last week secured the perfect trip to finish strongly in claiming a 5m margin. Settling handy top the action here from 10m, she gets the chance to chase a repeat.

RAZZLEME DAZZLEME (1) has the front-line advantage and after one run back form a spell will be tightened from the outing. Strong to the line with an interrupted passage, he is right in this.

NORTIE NORTIE (6) backs up from Saturday night where he tackled the FFA ranks and was not that far from the winner. Back to this grade, he can feature.

SELECTIONS: HIDE AND SEEK (4), KODA DA MODA (2), RAZZLEME DAZZLEME (1), NORTIE NORTIE (6)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE TWO

Runner-up at each of his past two starts, ALDEBARANSTILINSKI (6) can look to go one better here. Pressing on and taking control here last week, he held all bar KODA DA MODA off when 5m astern of the winner. Finishing strongly the start prior, he finds the set up here.

PIZZA PRINCE (4) broke maiden ranks last start when securing the perfect trip in behind the speed and when angled into open space, powered home to claim a 6m margin. With added fitness and race experience, he steps up here, but can look to take that step to challenge.

TUMULT (11) was making good metres in the closing stages last start when just missing the money behind KODA DA MODA. Despite the 40m, she looms large here.

YSMIR (8) was asked to sit parked last start and after the tough trip faded over the closing stages. Just 3m from TOP OF THE MOMENT here three starts back, she is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: ALDEBARANSTILINSKI (6), PIZZA PRINCE (4), TUMULT (11), YSMIR (8)
SUGGESTED BET: ALDEBARANSTILINSKI (6) to win

RACE THREE

The third trop for the day and after three runs back from a spell, NORTHERN HEIGHTS (8) looks to find the right conditions to get the W on the board. Collared in the closing strides when resuming, he was midfield last start and back into this contest, looks to get his chance.

BUN IN THE OVEN (5) has bene in great touch over the past six weeks and was able to chalk up another minor placing here last week, finishing just a half-neck from the winner NATTY PAGGER. Under 2m from that same winner two starts back, she can get forward and make a challenge.

HAMMER SON (6) was making some late metres here last week behind NATTY PAGGER and the start prior took good ground off them late when under 2m from the winner. He can charge hard.

IM A GYPSY QUEEN (10) overcame a 30m impost two starts back when finishing best in a slogging duel up the stretch. Finishing well for the bronze last start, she is right in the fight.

SELECTIONS: NORTHERN HEIGHTS (8), BUN IN THE OVEN (5), HAMMER SON (6), IM A GYPSY QUEEN (10)
SUGGESTED BET: NORTHERN HEIGHTS (8) to win

RACE FOUR

Several first starters in this race taking on a handful that have already been to the track. The beautifully bred THETORQUE MAJORITY (4) is an Art Major gelding out of Torque In Motion and in two trials has done enough to suggest, he is up to the task of victory on debut.

MISS CRUNCHY (6) is a Trent Dawson trained debutant which raced clear of her rivals to earn the race ticket in a recent qualifying trial. A daughter of first season sire Captain Crunch, she stays under notice off the trail effort.

BASILISK BOB (10) has the race experience to call on from this tough gate after placing in both career starts. Making a closing raid last time when a half-head from the winner, he has claims.

BRAVENTREACHEROUS (1) is the first foal of the unraced Treacherous Act and is by the super sire Bettors Delight. With some tidy trial form, he has the right gate at his first race outing.

SELECTIONS: THETORQUE MAJORITY (4), MISS CRUNCHY (6), BASILISK BOB (10), BRAVENTREACHEROUS (1)
SUGGESTED BET: THETORQUE MAJORITY (4) to win

RACE FIVE

The outside second line affords no favours, but BILLY GLANVILL (10) should get the right level of tempo from those off the front line. Darting htro0ugh on the passing lane last time to grab the prize, he was a tough winner at Redcliffe three back. He can descend on them here to score.

SAINT LOUIS BEAT (4) fired off the arm from this same gate tow starts back and from the front was able to take them all the way. Down the line last start in stronger company, he can look to run the gate again here and if able to pinch a panel in front, can throw it down.

STUDLEIGH DARCEY (5) had the speed to lead here last week and once in control repelled all challengers to claim a 5m margin. That was a maiden breaking win, and he can feature again.

LANCELOT BROMAC (1) hustled through to hold the leaders back from this gate last start and was able to chase through to finish with the silver. He will be trying to burrow through again.

SELECTIONS: BILLY GLANVILL (10), SAINT LOUIS BEAT (4), STUDLEIGH DARCEY (5), LANCELOT BROMAC (1)
SUGGESTED BET: BILLY GLANVILL (10) to win

RACE SIX

Can today be the day for SKYRO DREAMZ (7) to open the account after placing in four of his eight career starts to date. His day ended prematurely here last week in a scrimmage and the start prior, it ended before it started. Despite the gate, this set up looks right for him to arrive.

BOTTICELLI (10) was on debut here last week when he was the cause of a false start and then on the second attempt, fired out form gate 6 to lead through a 27.7 opener. Travelling well until under pressure at the 400 and breaking, he can look to turn it around with added experience.

ROYAL STUDLEIGH (8) will be trying to pinch one here after winning at Redcliffe last start and getting the chance to double dip on the maiden win. He will be probing for gaps to feature.

POWERMOVE (6) was put out of business last start but regathered and ran home to hold 4th. Fitter again after two runs back from a spell, she can be joining in here.

SELECTIONS: SKYRO DREAMZ (7), BOTTICELLI (10), ROYAL STUDLEIGH (8), POWERMOVE (6)
SUGGESTED BET: SKYRO DREAMZ (7) to win

RACE SEVEN

Unbeaten in his two career starts to date, it will be a step up here for BIRKIRKARA (2), but he looks to have the talent to do so. Laying out a 55.1 victory here last week from the front, it had followed an effortless debut win.  With more experience, he can make the rise to claim a threepeat.

SHEZA CRACKER (1) was locked away three back from inside the second line here last time out and when set free was strong to the line when runner-up behind HOT ROD HARRY. Her last win came when darting through on the passing lane and saved for that shot here can challenge.

ONE LAST ROLL (8) has been in great touch and comes into this off a last start Trot Rods win at Redcliffe when running it hard in front. With an economical trip, he will be probing for gaps.

AURORA REASON (5) missed the money for the first time on this deck last start when a beaten fav after easing from gate 5 and then never warming up late. Positioning cheaply will help here.

SELECTIONS: BIRKIRKARA (2), SHEZA CRACKER (1), ONE LAST ROLL (8), AURORA REASON (5)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-2-5-8

RACE EIGHT

A tricky contest here made no easier by the 2138 middle trip that is likely to find a few of these out. LULU MAE (1) has enough early speed to have the options in transit here and will be better suited back to the big deck after a tough trip at Marburg last start. The gate is a huge plus.

ROCKON ROCKY (12) steps out to the middle trip for the first time after four runs back for his 3YO term have netted a win and a pair of 2nds. Making a strong move from the 600 and then finishing 1m from the winner last start, he can look to challenge late again here.

ALWAYS LOCKSLEY (6) pressed ahead from outside the front-line last start and working to the front was trying to pinch it when just collared over the latter stages. The wide gate does not help.

ARCHILLES (3) is yet to win after 20 attempts beyond the sprint but will have the benefit of settling handy to the speed from this gate. Strong to the line last start, he is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: LULU MAE (1), ROCKON ROCKY (12), ALWAYS LOCKSLEY (6), ARCHILLES (3)
SUGGESTED BET: LULU MAE (1) to win

RACE NINE

Finishing in the top-two at six of his seven starts this term, HES SWEET (2) has the gate to be right in the firing line here. Tackling a strong qualifier last start won by the airborne MYDADSAID, the start prior he led every step bar the one that counted. From the gate he gets every chance.

SWEET GEORGIA BROWN (9) has been sharper in her past two appearances when placed after missing the money in her first three back from a spell. Rolling forward for position and holding on for the bronze last start behind KALASA, she can trail through early to issue a challenge late.

KALASA (8) found the ideal conditions here last week and was assisted when the main danger was scratched. Sitting parked and claiming a big win, he will be probing for openings here.

KASH TIN (7) started form outside the second line last start and saved for one shot at them, had the power to descend and arrive for a 1m margin. The gate stings but he can join in.

SELECTIONS: HES SWEET (2), SWEET GEORGIA BROWN (9), KALASA (8), KASH TIN (7)
SUGGESTED BET: HES SWEET (2) to win

RACE TEN

Another typically open veteran’s event where tempo though the middle stages will help the chances of ROCKTAGONAL (9) to descend on them. Eased early before making some impact at the mile here last start, he was hampered and lost momentum when runner-up two back.

TAIRLAW TOLL (7) was sent around the field from outside the second line here two starts back and sitting parked, threw it down to the leader and then pulled away for an 8m margin. That was over this same trip and after holding 3rd last time at the mile, he can challenge again here.

KASH US BACK (3) has worked his way back into some form and will line up here after placing at his past two in succession. Using the passing lane last start chasing ELLIS STREET, he has claims in this.

SOEXTRA (6) was locked in between runners until finding some space in the closing stages last time out when under 4m from the winner. The wide gate stings but tempo will aid his chances.

SELECTIONS: ROCKTAGONAL (9), TAIRLAW TOLL (7), KASH US BACK (3), SOEXTRA (6)
SUGGESTED BET: ROCKTAGONAL (9) to win
