RACE ONE

BLACKJACK CRIPPA (6)
resumes from a spell after his last appearance came in the Triad Final back in August when just behind the placings. Both his wins have been here on The Triangle and with a sharp trial hit out to prepare, he can return in style.

MAJOR LINCOLN (4) has been runner-up at his past two starts, the latest when trying to fend them off in front and finishing just a half-head from the winner. Making a late charge from a second line gate two starts back, he can press forward for position.

CHANCELESS CENTURY (2) was a winner here two starts back when eased off the inside and sent to sit parked. He will be looking to protect the inside running.

SELECTIONS: BLACKJACK CRIPPA (6), MAJOR LINCOLN (4), CHANCELESS CENTURY (2)
SUGGESTED BET: BLACKJACK CRIPPA (6) to win

RACE TWO

AIR EXPRESS (1)
was faced with the outside front-line gate over the AP mile when resuming from a spell. Eased for position before closing it out smartly to be 7m from the winner, he was again strong to the line second up. Back in the draw, he has the gate to capitalise.

VINCENT TIME (3) has been runner-up at his past two starts, the latest when eased from gate 5 over the AP mile before rattling late to be just 1m from the winner. Chasing home from back in the pack on this deck two starts back and under 3m from the winner, he can throw it down.

BERTILS FIREFOX (2) is a previous winner at this format and is a track specialist, including wins at his past two starts, the latest when finding clear air and charging home. He is right in this.

SELECTIONS: AIR EXPRESS (1), VINCENT TIME (3), BERTILS FIREFOX (2)
SUGGESTED BET: AIR EXPRESS (1) to win

RACE THREE

DATTITUDE (4)
made an error last start that ended his chances which had followed a tough trip at the 2040 which is not his best trip. Grabbed late by CAPTAINS PICK three runs back, he can force the issue here and up near the speed look to capitalise.

TAYLORS FOUR (1) tried to see it out from this same gate last start over this trip when sent to the post as fav but reeled in over the closing stages. The 2040 was out of reach the start prior when working early and with the chance to burrow through can issue the challenge here.

SUNRISE RUBY (7) will strip fitter from her latest offering where she was resuming from a spell. Using the passing lane to grab 3rd, she will be probing for the closing shot on them.

FLO RYDA (6) was snookered from inside the second line last start and when spotting the gap was attacking the line behind GIRL FROM OZ. Gate 6 does him no favours.

SELECTIONS: DATTITUDE (4), TAYLORS FOUR (1), SUNRISE RUBY (7), FLO RYDA (6)
SUGGESTED BET: DATTITUDE (4) to win

RACE FOUR

FAVREAU (5)
was shuffled back from inside the second line last time out before trying to make a play and grabbing the silver behind MOUTN HERCULES. Taking them all the way from gate 1 the start prior, this is a wide-open contest, and he can look to defy the wide gate.

SHE DAZZLES (1) had faced three second line barriers in succession before looking to make the most of gate 1 here last time out. Setting the speed, she led until deep stretch, only collared in the last strides by LORD MEMNOCK. The gate can see her again throw down the challenge.

HELL OF A HAND (9) resumed from a spell with a swooping victory here before tackling the APG Bullion Series at her past two. Just out of the money in the final, she can be joining in late.

MY GIRL MANDY (2) was exposed early last start when trying to find forward position before receiving cover and finishing 7m astern of the winner. She can be handy enough again here.

SELECTIONS: FAVREAU (5), SHE DAZZLES (1), HELL OF A HAND (9), MY GIRL MANDY (2)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE FIVE

CRIME TIME (2)
has been runner-up at his past two starts, the latest from this gate over the sprint trip when finishing under 3m from the winner TOBEFAIRTOYOU. Sitting parked at this trip and grinding out the bronze two back, he can force it again here in looking to capitalise.

JET FORCE (9) eased from gate 5 to secure position last start before making his run from the 500 and pushed wide on the track to get around them. Reeling in the lead and pulling away to post a 5m margin, he will need to repeat that pattern to issue the challenge again.

TORQUE IN CONTROL (1) secures all the options from this gate to find the right position. A beaten fav last start when trying to make the late raid in grabbing 3rd, she is a podium hope.

WESTERN SHOWGIRL (8) started fav last start when asked to sit parked and despite the tough trip was able to grip on for the bronze. Following through early can see her place again.

SELECTIONS: CRIME TIME (2), JET FORCE (9), TORQUE IN CONTROL (1), WESTERN SHOWGIRL (8)
SUGGESTED BET: CRIME TIME (2) to win

RACE SIX

BETTERTHAN POPSY (8)
will take good benefit from his latest outing where he returned from a spell with a first up 3rd. Settled in the 1x1 trail, he was trying to chime in when finishing under 3m from the winner PROMISING. A three-time winner on this deck, he can arrive.

ASHLEE NITRO (1) was exposed early before receiving cover last start and finishing midfield behind DOCTA FEELGOOD. Squeezing into the pocket trail the start prior over this trip but unable to go on with it, she will limit the early work from this gate to throw down a late raid.

THE RAINBOW BEACH (4) has faced second line draws in both starts here at The Triangle, the latest when attacking the line strongly from deep field for 3rd. Off the front can see him feature.

ACHROMATIC (3) has stepped up at each task placed before her and last start over this trip, took cover from the ace and then finished best to score. Positioning cheaply will be key.

SELECTIONS: BETTERTHAN POPSY (8), ASHLEE NITRO (1), THE RAINBOW BEACH (4), ACHROMATIC (3)
SUGGESTED BET: BETTERTHAN POPSY (8) to win

RACE SEVEN

CALL TO ORDER (2)
looks to have found the ideal conditions to strike after finishing runner-up in both runs since returning from a spell. Beaten deep into the red last start after settling in the 1x1 trail, an outside second line alley stung first up. He looks to get every chance in this one.

SUNNY COVE (4) was wide off the track and working last start when fading over the latter stages to finish near the rear. Returning from a spell two starts back and burrowing through from gate 1 at the 2040 to lead and finish with the bronze, the added fitness can see him throw it down.

THREE ONE FOUR (6) is given no favours from the carpark as she looks to make it back-to-back victories. Taking them all the way last start, she can be joining in over the latter stages.

RIVER ROCK (7) started from two off the second line last start when eased to the inside and following the short way home grabbed the bronze. She will be probing again.

SELECTIONS: CALL TO ORDER (2), SUNNY COVE (4), THREE ONE FOUR (6), RIVER ROCK (7)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE EIGHT

LORD DENZEL (1)
cashed in at the 947-scamper last week when taking the trail and then darting through along the passing lane to grab the cash. Not suited over the longer 2040 two starts back, he snares all the options again here to capitalise.

FEELING THE POWER (8) is never too far away and last start was trying to join in from outside the second line when 5m astern of the winner. Grabbing the bronze the start prior, he has placed in seven of 10 this season as he chases his first win of 2024 and can be challenging again.

LESVOS LAD (9) was buried in the run last start when four back, with the field almost in single file formation. Finding space to ease wider, he was strong to the line and grabbed in the last stride. He can chime in again.

MATAI REACTOR (5) was chasing the short way home last start when best of the chasing pack behind SHE OWNS THEY DAY which cleared out to an 18m margin. The gate stings here.

SELECTIONS: LORD DENZEL (1), FEELING THE POWER (8), LESVOS LAD (9), MATAI REACTOR (5)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-5-8-9

RACE NINE

EBONY BELLE (2)
has been runner-up at her past two starts, the latest when trying to take them all the way, only collared in the closing strides as SNIP OF BEAUTY arrived. Finding the pocket trail two starts back when 1m from SUWALI, she finds the chance to open the account.

TAKE COURAGE (4) was buried in the run last start and never a factor and was sent for a break after the run. Holding on for the bronze two starts back, she returns here without a trial and if positioning cheaply, this is a maiden that is open and she can be thereabouts.

FANCY LIKE BARBIE (3) has started from the second line at two of her past three starts, the latest when missing the money behind CULLECTINGCARDLES. She is a podium hope here.

BUCKLEUP (6) has placed 3rd inn both runs since returning from a spell, the latest when using the passing lane to run the winner to 5m. The wide gate dents his winning hopes.

SELECTIONS: EBONY BELLE (2), TAKE COURAGE (4), FANCY LIKE BARBIE (3), BUCKLEUP (6)
SUGGESTED BET: EBONY BELLE (2) to win

RACE TEN

ROCK WITH NATE (1)
started from inside the second line last start and using the passing lane was making good metres to finish 2m from the winner in grabbing 3rd. In a race where many might be tested at the 2040 trip, he has the gate advantage to capitalise.

PRECOCIOUS KATE (4) has placed in seven of 10 this season and her past five in succession as she looks to open her 3YO winning ledger. Game in defeat last start when sitting parked and grinding out a 1m 2nd, she might be best placed to overcome the middle trip and throw it down.

ARKUNA (6) returns from a spell after finishing as the runner-up at her past three in succession to end her last campaign. Beaten a nose and a half-head in two of those, the gate stings fresh.

JOE CAVALIER (5) broke maiden ranks here four runs back when sent forward from the wide gate and proving too strong. Runner-up at his next appearance, he can be joining in.

SELECTIONS: ROCK WITH NATE (1), PRECOCIOUS KATE (4), ARKUNA (6), JOE CAVALIER (5)
SUGGESTED BET: PRECOCIOUS KATE (4)
