Form Analysis: Redcliffe May 15

RACE 1 

I AM CAESAR (3) was able to lead two starts ago at this track and trip and was seemingly beaten by quite a smart horse in Boston Chief. He draws inside of his main rivals in this race and should prove hard to catch leading. 

CALL IT BLING (7) has shown good ability at trials doing things wrong two trials ago when still able to win running over the top of Ruby Rhayne Bow before winning a trial at Redcliffe beating Boston Chief who has already won a race. Will need luck from the awkward draw but if that luck does come he looks a strong hope. 

BOSTON FIRE (4) has shown good ability despite doing a few things wrong. He wasn’t beaten far last start behind Mighty Crunch at Albion Park in what was an effort that should see him competitive in this race. 

LITTLE SURFER GIRL (6) has wanted to do a few things wrong leaving her RODM in this race. She seemingly has decent speed and could run into the finish late should the tempo suit.

RACE 2 

ROLLONX (5) has been racing well. He scored a win two runs ago when working away from the inside at the right time and running over the top late. He did the work last start and battled on into fourth which isn’t generally his ideal racing pattern. 

SHADYS DELIGHT (1) doesn’t seem to possess much gate speed which may see him shuffled back in the early stages. He has been racing reasonably well without a great deal of luck and if he can hold a prominent position early he’d be hard to beat. 

HOIHO (2) has gate speed and was able to use that a few starts ago when leading all of the way there. Looks another race he can lead up and if he does he should prove very hard to beat. 

CONNIES SPIRIT (7) starts inside back row behind a horse without a huge amount of gate speed. She has been finishing off her races nicely in recent times and if he luck does come she can be thereabouts.

RACE 3

ROYAL WINKLE (1) has good gate speed and should have the speed to dictate early. He was a winner when leading all the way three starts ago over the 2040. He takes on the 1780 this time which might be more to his liking. 

TREACHEROUS GABBY (7) should get a good run through in the early stages of this race. She enjoys racing on the pegs and if she gets any luck she should be in the finish again. 

ABSOLUTELY STOKED (5) was an impressive effort to run a close second to the in form Mullum Doc two starts ago over the 2040 at Redcliffe. She then started a short priced favourite last start and just did too much work when fading late into fourth. 

SUNNY COVE (9) was back in the placings last start when running into third behind Rollonx. His best is good enough to be thereabouts in this.

SUGGESTED BET: TREACHEROUS GABBY (7) each way. 

RACE 4 

SHACKOUTTHEBACK (4) won three in a row earlier this campaign before two great efforts her last two starts. She is racing in terrific form and despite what looks a somewhat awkward draw she is likely to be hard to beat again. 

LITTLE BOLT (2) can look to hold the advantage on main rival Shackouttheback in this race and push to the front and would be very hard to beat from there. He hasn’t led since January earlier this year and ran a good second to We Always Have Faith on that occasion. 

MISTY CREEK (7) is the only horse off the back row in this race which means he will have options in the early stages. Has been racing reasonably and with the right run into the race he can be thereabouts. 

KUZMA (5) hasn’t had the best of luck since the start of his racing in QLD. That may be the case again in this race from a wide draw.

RACE 5

LLANFAIR LLEWELLAN (2) ran into it strongly last start from a long way back in the field to get second behind Heavenly Wisdom. He was a good winner three starts ago over Cheeky Baby in a race he turned into a dash home. Can lead and be hard to run down. 

PLANET DOWNS (5) was able to secure a good run in the race last start and finished off nicely there in a field with possibly slightly more depth than this one. Draws poorly in this race and will need luck to secure a good run again. 

NEED NOT TO WORRY (9) did the work last start and was an impressive second there behind One Last Roll. Should be thereabouts again. 

IMANI (6) has put in some good efforts since joining the stable of Trent Dawson in particular her second to Udderly Sweet in 1.53.8.

RACE 6 

ROSIE ROMANCE (4) has been impressive since landing in QLD competitive in every run so far. She scored a good win two back at Redcliffe when doing all the work there. 

PERFECTLY QUIRKY (9) can finish off nicely when able to secure an economical trip. Will be hoping the speed is on in this race and she can be closing off late. 

OUR DOLLY (2) was a dominant winner last start in a slightly easier race. She has the advantage of the draw in this race and is a horse that loves to lead. 

ROCK TIME (5) closed off strongly last start behind Mullum Doc. Draws wide and may get back but can figure with even luck.

SUGGESTED BET: ROSIE ROMANCE (4) to win. 

RACE 7

ALLEGRETTO (5) has gate speed and might be able to find the front in this race. Has been going well without a great deal of luck in recent outings. 

TIGER TOMMY (7) closed off strong last start to score a nice win. Had been racing well leading up to that win and is certain to be competitive with luck from what looks an awkward draw. 

ASHLEE NITRO (8) is dropping in grade slightly off some of her recent efforts and rarely runs a bad race at this track. She would appreciate a solid early tempo and can be running on strong late. 

PEEJAY MACK (10) scored what looked an unlikely victory a lap in last start when she was a long way back in the run after making an early error. She can be running on again late.

RACE 8

DREAM MELODY (3) was a good run two starts ago over the 1780 when running a fast third quarter before being narrowly beaten by Theresachance. She was then another solid effort last start when racing off the pegs beaten just 5.3 metres. If she can find the front she’d prove hard to catch.

SO MANY MOMENTS (9) was able to score three starts ago in what was seemingly a slightly stronger race at this track and trip beating Seaside Glory. She was then doing her best work late last start when running on into fourth. 

SHEEZ GOT TORQUE (1) has decent gate speed and might be able to secure the run of the race on the leaders back. She wasn’t beaten far last start behind Shes In Line. 

GOOD WORD THAT (5) has had good recent success and is chasing a hat-trick of wins in this race. Draws wide and is likely to get a long way back but looks one of the minor money.

RACE 9

TAKE A CHANCE (2) should have the gate speed to hold his position in the early stages and potentially drive through to the lead. He seems to do his best racing when able to find the front and would prove hard to beat if able to find that position. 

IMA BEACH BABE (4) returns from a spell in this race. She ran well in a recent trial behind Pinny Tiger and In Excess at Albion Park. If she can secure a good run she can be right in the finish. 

KHULAN KID (1) has very good gate speed and can dictate in the early stages. Handed over in the early stages at Marburg and went to the line without a clear run there. With the benefit of the sprint lane at Redcliffe he can be taking the last shot at them. 

MY ULTIMATE VICTOR (8) appears to be stepping back in grade off recent efforts. He was third behind Call To Order and My Ultimate Buddha last start.

RACE 10

JIMMY JOYCE (2) led last start over the 2040 and was run down late by The Harris Hawk. He hasn’t won since November 2024 but looks to have found a very suitable race where he can lead over the 1780 and prove hard to catch. 

WANDARY DELIGHT (9) was solid in her first trial back behind first up winner Pretty Little Liar before being well beaten in a trial behind the very smart 4YO Charge Ahead. She should get a nice run off the speed and can be closing late. 

GRACENAVA (4) was a runner up three starts ago at Marburg when working hard and sitting without cover. She was able to get into second again last start when working again and battling away nicely behind Ghost Train. 

PARTY CHANGER (8) led last start and just battled away for third there. Looks likely to get a good run through in the early stages of the race.
