The dog was always earmarked to cover more distance and has officially arrived as a stayer with wire to wire wins in the world’s richest staying race the 715 at The Gardens, before taking out the inaugural running of the G3 Dashing Corsair on the Q1 Lakeside track.
Ethanol Water has long been regarded as one of the leading stayers in the country since her first Group 1 victory in the Bold Trease Final at Sandown in 2024. She tasted further Group 1 success in the Gold Cup at Albion Park in January and the Galaxy at Cannington in March.
Raider’s Guide became a Tasmanian greyhound racing icon in 2024, taking out the Group 1 National Distance final at Angle Park. The dog is seemingly getting better with age, claiming the Group 1 Sandown Cup Final in May.
