Form Analysis: Redcliffe June 4

5 June 2025

RACE 1

XPRESS PARTY (3) scored a dominant win last start at Redcliffe when leading all the way. Looks to come up against a similar line up but doesn’t have the luxury of gate 1 this time. Is likely to look for the lead and should be hard to beat again.

SIR BRIGADOON (1) closed off strongly last start to get into third two runs ago behind Xpress Party. He can secure a good run in this race potentially behind the leader and should be far away at the finish.

BLUE SUEDE ROCKA (7) scored a good win three starts ago when closing best to score. Seems to do all his best racing on the fence and gets that opportunity again in this race following a horse that’s likely to be close enough in the run.

CONGO LINE (5) appears one of the class runners in the race. He was an impressive winner three starts ago in a much stronger race and with luck he can be right in the finish.

SELECTIONS: XPRESS PARTY (3), SIR BRIGADOON (1), BLUE SUEDE ROCKA (7), CONGO LINE (5)

SUGGESTED BET: BLUE SUEDE ROCKA (7) to place.

RACE 2

ROCK HAMMER (2) has early speed and might be able to get to the front in the early stages. Has returned well from a spell having followed up his win with four placings. He is generally a good front runner and can prove hard to catch.

HASTY BID (8) drops back into what looks a much easier race here having taken on Hot Rod Harry last start. He should get a good run through early on the back of a gate speed horse.

SCRUFFY (5) is fourth up in this race and should be nearing peak fitness. He is a horse that can do a few things wrong at the start but has plenty of ability. If he brings his best behaviour he should be thereabouts.

THE TIGER ARMY (1) isn’t a horse with much gate speed so the usually ideal gate doesn’t look quite as good for him. If he can hold a position in the early stages he has been racing well enough to figure in the finish.

SELECTIONS: ROCK HAMMER (2), HASTY BID (8), SCRUFFY (5), THE TIGER ARMY (1)

SUGGESTED BET: HASTY BID (8) each way.

RACE 3

SO MANY MOMENTS (6) loves racing at Redcliffe and seems to do all her best work at the track. She draws wide in this race but can do work and will likely look to get up on speed. She ran a good third two starts ago and this race looks easier.

SHEEZ GOT TORQUE (1) has good gate speed giving her options in the early stages. She secured a good run three starts ago at this track and was able to run a nice second there.

ARKUNA (7) is looking for a hat-trick of wins in this race having led all the way over the 2040 at Redcliffe before tackling the 947 Trot Rods journey highlighting her versatility. She should follow through well early and with luck looks one of the main players.

GRIGORA (2) has been consistent having recorded three thirds in a row. Draws favourably in this race and can be running on late.

SELECTIONS: SO MANY MOMENTS (6), SHEEZ GOT TORQUE (1), ARKUNA (7), GRIGORA (2)

SUGGESTED BET:

RACE 4

MISSED CONSEQUNCES (1) took on a Trot Rods race last start and was a winner there after finding the front. She has very good gate speed and can likely lead and dictate in this race. If she can lead and control things she should be hard to catch.

TIGER TOMMY (2) was finishing powerfully last start despite a very slowly tempo in that race won by Cyclone Tony. She is racing well at the moment and if she brings her best here she can be running on strongly again from a really good draw.

MULLUM DOC (5) finished close up behind Cyclone Tony last start in what was another great effort. He did have a suitable draw there to follow through the leader in the race and doesn’t have the same luxury here from gate 5 which is likely to make things tougher. He has good gate speed but there are a few horses underneath him that get out the gate well.

OUR ULTIMATE QUEEN (7) has seemingly been racing well below her best in recent starts being unplaced in her last seven starts. She steps back to Redcliffe and gains a good trailing draw where she won’t need to do any work early. Could be an improver.

SELECTIONS: MISSED CONSEQUNCES (1), TIGER TOMMY (2), MULLUM DOC (5), OUR ULTIMATE QUEEN (7)

SUGGESTED BET: MISSED CONSEQUNCES (1) to win.

RACE 5

NEED NOT TO WORRY (1) has been racing well and looks to have found an ideal race to break through for another victory. Ran an impressive second three starts ago when doing all the work in the race.

MISTER DELWIN (7) follows through the likely leader in this race and if he can secure that good run he should be right in the finish. Was able to bully his way to the lead last start in the Trot Rods and scored a good win there.

WANDARY DELIGHT (8) is a horse with good speed at her best. She has had a few runs back from a spell now and should be nearing peak fitness. Has options in the early stages.

SHADYS DELIGHT (5) handed over in the early stages in his most recent race and wasn’t able to reel in the leader.

SELECTIONS: NEED NOT TO WORRY (1), MISTER DELWIN (7), WANDARY DELIGHT (8), SHADYS DELIGHT (5)

SUGGESTED BET: NEED NOT TO WORRY (1) to win.

RACE 6

THE BLUE WREN (4) has plenty of gate speed and given she has drawn to advantage over her key rivals in this race she may look to press forward and hold that advantage. If she can lead in a race of this nature she should prove hard to catch.

PERFECT FEELING (5) is racing in good form. His latest win came over the Trot Rods journey when able to lead and score a quite dominant win. Unlikely to find the front in this race given he has drawn outside of The Blue Wren but can be running into it late.

LOVIN MISS DIXIE (6) showed brilliant gate speed last start to find the fence and was able to hang on for third there. Given she has now has a few runs back from a spell she is likely to be nearing peak fitness and can run well again despite the wide draw.

ALTANA BLUE (9) has been racing consistently rarely far away in any of his races. If the speed is on he can be running into it late.

SELECTIONS: THE BLUE WREN (4), PERFECT FEELING (5), LOVIN MISS DIXIE (6), ALTANA BLUE (9)

SUGGESTED BET: THE BLUE WREN (4) to win.

RACE 7

BRONX (5) was a good effort when first up in QLD two starts ago behind My Scimitar who simply had a softer run in the race. He sat without cover last start after making a mid-race move and battled on well behind Sweet Lad Jujon to run second. He appears to possess good gate speed and if he found himself on the front end he would prove hard to catch.

TWILIGHT TANGO (9) was impressive on debut for the new stable first up in QLD when running on late into second behind I Got Chills in solid time for a restricted wins race. She then led last start and appeared to have every chance there when second to Our Lucy Lou. They did run 28.7, 28.7 on the way home in that race which suggests her own run was still good enough for a race of this nature.

SHEROCKSMYWORLD (8) has been well beaten in recent starts. She did take on a heat of the QBRED Breeders Classic last start and was a sound enough effort there.

UNCUT GEM (6) has a wide draw which looks to make things tough in this race. Has shown good ability this campaign and goes in as one of the main chances for the minor money.

SELECTIONS: BRONX (5), TWILIGHT TANGO (9), SHEROCKSMYWORLD (8), UNCUT GEM (6)

SUGGESTED BET: BRONX (5) to win.

Slide8_8.png

RACE 8

DOWNTOWN MANHATTAN (1) led over the Trot Rods 947m journey and was a dominant winner racing away to score by 11.7 metres. He draws to lead again in this race from the good gate and if he does he should prove hard to catch again.

CONVAIR HUSTLER (7) ran a very good race last start when leading. Looks to get a really good run through in the early stages of this race following a gate speed horse in Downtown Manhattan.

TRACER BULLET (4) looks to be well graded in this race and can generally do some work in this type of grade. He was a distant third last start behind Downtown Manhattan on Trot Rods finals night so will need to lift to turn the tables there.

GALVARINO (5) is having its first run for Chloe Butler. Trialled up fairly when narrowly beaten in a recent trial.

SELECTIONS: DOWNTOWN MANHATTAN (1), CONVAIR HUSTLER (7), TRACER BULLET (4), GALVARINO (5)

SUGGESTED BET: DOWNTOWN MANHATTAN (1) to win.

Slide9_8.png

RACE 9

IM ALBY (4) was a very impressive run last start when doing all the work and not being beaten far. Might be able to force to the lead this time and if he can then he should be extremely hard to beat.

BLAZING TART (9) showed good ability last time in when going around a short priced favourite twice at Albion Park for a second and a third. She returned for a new trainer Michael Brennan in a recent trial and was well beaten there. Has the ability to figure.

TWOIPSALLY (3) has begun her career nicely with two good placings. Draws to advantage over main rivals in this race and has options in the early stages.

TENGERRI (1) without looking a winning hope in recent races he has been very consistent and ran two good second placings in his last three starts. Although he doesn’t look a winning hope in this race he can be in the money again.

SELECTIONS: IM ALBY (4), BLAZING TART (9), TWOIPSALLY (3), TENGERRI (1)

SUGGESTED BET: IM ALBY (4) to win.

Slide10_4.png

RACE 10

MALARKY (2) was a good runner up on debut behind Uncut Gem. Showed good enough early speed in that race to suggest she might be able to lead. Should be hard to beat.

BOSTON FIRE (8) ran on off a strong tempo last start at Redcliffe. Is improving each time at the races and can be running on again if the tempo suits.

MACGYVA (7) draws awkwardly in this race inside the back row. Trialled up quite nicely behind Call It Bling prior to a race track debut where things didn’t go right. With luck can figure.

AUNTY CODY (3) trialled up reasonably ahead of this debut. Should be better for that outing and can figure with luck.

SELECTIONS: MALARKY (2), BOSTON FIRE (8), MACGYVA (7), AUNTY CODY (3)

SUGGESTED BET: MACGYVA (7) to win.
