RISE Racing update on recent cyber incident

RISE Racing recently confirmed It had been impacted by a cyber incident.

The immediate investigation confirmed that certain data files from 2017 to 2022 were accessed during this breach. Unfortunately, some of these files included participant information. All impacted participants have since been notified. 

The RISE response is significant and ongoing, and continue to work with law enforcement agencies, and external cybersecurity and privacy experts, including the Australian Cyber Security Centre and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

The industry participants, and team privacy is of highest importance. Those affected have been informed on how the current situation is being managed and what they can do to be vigilant.
