Racing Queensland advises of the new local rule LR26 (9) which will be enforced from Monday, July 21.
A greyhound which has its nomination for an Event withdrawn after closure of nominations but prior to box draw is given a stand-down period commencing at the time of the withdrawal and continuing for 10 days from the date of the Event, unless the withdrawal was due to the greyhound being ineligible.
Trainers are still permitted to change a current nomination to a different event if the nominations are extended for that event.
