RACE 1

MANIFEST THE BILLI (1) is a half sibling to of the country’s top trotters in Susan Is Her Name and steps out for his racetrack debut in this race. Showed good ability in recent trials including a close up third in his most recent trial behind older trotters. If he can show anywhere near the ability of his sister he will be incredibly hard to beat

FARROKH (9) broke through to win last start when lead all the way at this track. He seemed to do it easily enough there having found the front early he controlled the race and was able to hold a margin late. His run prior was impressive when closing off well behind Aspiring Victree.

ASPIRING VICTREE (6) was able to secure a good run last start and proved too good. He draws wide this time and may not be able to secure such an economical trip. He should be thereabouts.

DOWN SOUTH DAISY (4) was able to lead early before handing over to Farrokh. She was able to hang on for a close up second and appears a filly with good speed.

SELECTIONS: MANIFEST THE BILLI (1), FARROKH (9), ASPIRING VICTREE (6), DOWN SOUTH DAISY (4)

SUGGESTED BET:

RACE 2

YOURSOSPECIAL (2) has good early speed and might be able to find the front in the early stages. Took on a much stronger race last start which was taken out by Fire And Passion. She should be better for the run there first up and can be hard to beat with the right run.

OUR ULTIMATE KIMMY (1) started one of the favourites last start at Newcastle and didn’t have the best of luck there when her main danger was able to find the front from a back row draw. She didn’t appear to have brilliant gate speed but should still secure a good run.

BEACHBABE CROCKER (5) was able to win two starts ago when sitting leaders back. She took on a strong race taken out by smart 2YO Fire And Passion and was well beaten but put in a good enough effort for a race of this nature.

ROCK YOUR SOCKS (3) zipped across to the lead last start and got tired there to be well beaten. May be a horse that’s better driven with a sit and can be an improver if driven that way in this race given she has previously run well sat up.

SELECTIONS: YOURSOSPECIAL (2), OUR ULTIMATE KIMMY (1), BEACHBABE CROCKER (5), ROCK YOUR SOCKS (3)

SUGGESTED BET: ROCK YOUR SOCKS (3) each way.

RACE 3

OURBEACHGIRLMAYWYN (2) appears to have landed in the weaker heat and has drawn the best of the main chances which should give her every opportunity. She can look to hold a forward position and if she can control things she could prove hard to beat.

AMYLEE (4) won the final of the APG Sales series last start and returns in this race. She beat one of her key rivals Ourbeachgirlmaywyn in that race but does draw to her disadvantage again in this race.

RUBY RHAYNE BOW (5) was a last start winner to break her maiden status when sitting outside the leader and proving too strong. She draws wide in this race which appears to make things tougher this time and she does step up significantly in grade.

CAPTAIN BLUE CHIP (1) took on a much stronger race last start at Menangle taken out by Senses who looks a smart filly. She draws well and with natural improvement from her first start to this race she can be thereabouts.

SELECTIONS: OURBEACHGIRLMAYWYN (2), AMYLEE (4), RUBY RHAYNE BOW (5), CAPTAIN BLUE CHIP (1)

SUGGESTED BET: OURBEACHGIRLMAYWYN (2) to win.

RACE 4

SALLY EM (10) ran well in a recent trial behind FFA mare Cheer Leader. Will need to step quickly off the big handicap but she has shown she is capable of doing work in her races.

DAIMYO (4) scored a nice win two starts ago when closing over the top late to score. He then did things wrong last start and played no part as a result when finishing seventh. With a safe getaway he can bounce back.

MY RUMOUR HAS IT (7) generally begins quickly from the stand start and likes to roll along out in front. She was able to score a dominant win two starts ago before leading and getting tired last start.

BIUSTER DAN (1) steps up in this race to take on the older trotters but does have the 20 metre handicap advantage to counter that. He has good ability and with a safe beginning he can be thereabouts.

SELECTIONS: SALLY EM (10), DAIMYO (4), MY RUMOUR HAS IT (7), BUSTER DAN (1)

SUGGESTED BET: DAIMYO (4) each way.

RACE 5

RIDE THE HIGHS (6) showed good gate speed to lead and win dominantly last start in Victoria. Has the barrier draw advantage on key rival Wontyoustaywithme in this race and may look to hold that advantage early.

WONTYOUSTAYWITHME (7) returns from a spell in this race having won two of her five starts last time in. She won a recent trial zipping home a nice last quarter and should be thereabouts again in this race.

STRIPES (2) has good early speed and a low draw in this race. She has shown high speed previously and should be suited to the small field in this race. Looks one of the better chances for the minor money.

CHERRIES ON TOP (3) trialled just fairly in preparation for her race track debut in this race when making up some late ground. She is well bred and coming out of an astute stable she has to be respected

SELECTIONS: RIDE THE HIGHS (6), WONTYOUSTAYWITHME (7), STRIPES (2), CHERRIES ON TOP (3)

SUGGESTED BET: RIDE THE HIGHS (6) to win.

Slide6_43.png

RACE 6

BARSBY (1) has good early speed and was able to lead the final of the Qbred Breeders Classic series where he set a strong tempo and got tired late but was certainly entitled to. He can lead again in this race and look to control things out in front. Should be hard to beat.

RED BULL BERNIE (4) was shuffled back on the pegs last start behind Timmyteo and Fire And Passion and battled away well there for third. He has shown good ability and draws the front row in this race. Can look to get forward at the start and should be thereabouts.

GOTTAGO BARNEY (2) did things wrong on debut following a solid effort in a qualifying trial. He made amends last start when sitting without cover and proving too good for the. He looks a horse with good ability and despite the step up in grade he can be thereabouts from a suitable draw.

MACK ATTACK (8) was well beaten last start in a strong race. He draws to get a good run on the pegs this time and that should allow him every chance to finish somewhere in the minor money.

SELECTIONS: BARSBY (1), RED BULL BERNIE (4), GOTTAGO BARNEY (2), MACK ATTACK (8)

SUGGESTED BET: BARSBY (1) to win.

RACE 7

FIGHT FOR VICTORY (6) had no luck last start in the Protostar when badly checked early before making up strong ground late into a midfield position. He was a brilliant winner of the Qbred Breeders Classic final two starts ago rating a fast 1.53.5 in tough conditions. Despite the wide draw he looks hardest to beat.

SITTING ON EIGHT (1) led early last start before handing over to Nila Maree and doing well to battle on for second not beaten too far. He draws well in the race and with the early speed he showed last start can likely have options early.

TIMMYTEO (10) zipped across to lead before handing over to Fire And Passion and was a very close up second there in what was an impressive effort. He draws the outside of the back row this time which appears to set him a considerably tougher task., He has high speed and should be thereabouts again if the race is run to suit.

MY ULTIMATE ZANDER (5) was a last start winner at this track and trip in just moderate overall time. He has shown good ability previously and seems to have good speed.

SELECTIONS: FIGHT FOR VICTORY (6), SITTING ON EIGHT (1), TIMMYTEO (10), MY ULTIMATE ZANDER (5)

SUGGESTED BET: SITTING ON EIGHT (1) to place.

Slide8_39.png

RACE 8

STRIKEM (5) scored an easy win last start when leading all of the way over the longer journey in the consolation of the Oaks and Derby. He drops back in grade into this race and looks to have drawn best of the main chances. He should be hard to beat again.

IM ROCKIN IT (10) is having his first start in QLD in this race. He brings solid NSW form into this race and should secure an economical run early following through at the start from the back row.

SCARED STIFF (6) took on a much stronger race last start taken out by Birkirkara in fast time. He drops in grade in this race but does draw wide which appears to make it tricky for him. If he can secure the right run he can be thereabouts.

MY ULTIMATE BUDDHA (8) draws awkwardly inside the back row in this race and will need luck at some stage. He had very little luck last start when ending up in an unsuitable position outside the leader.

SELECTIONS: STRIKEM (5), IM ROCKIN IT (10), SCARED STIFF (6), MY ULTIMATE BUDDHA (8)

SUGGESTED BET: STRIKEM (5) to win.

RACE 9

I GOT CHILLS (3) has been showing great early speed and might be able to launch across again in this race to lead them up. He used that great early speed last start to find the front over this track and trick and proved too good leading all the way.

JENSVILLE (8) trialled up smartly at Albion Park holding off Air Express over this track and trip. She showed good ability in South Australia and looks well placed in this race. She does draw awkwardly and will need luck to find clear running at the right time.

BOTTICELLI (7) has recorded impressive back-to-back wins. He ran over the top in fast times two back to record a dominant win before finding the lead early last start and putting a big margin on his rivals. The wide draw makes his task tougher in this race.

HASTY BID (1) has good gate speed and a good gate which might allow him to dictate early. He made up good ground from a long way off them last start at Redcliffe.

SELECTIONS: I GOT CHILLS (3), JENSVILLE (8), BOTTICELLI (7), HASTY BID (1)

SUGGESTED BET: I GOT CHILLS (3) to win.

Slide10_13.png

RACE 10

FIRE AND PASSION (6) was able to lead and score a comfortable victory last start at this track and trip. He was luckless in his start prior when badly checked early in the $500,000 Protostar. He can look to get forward again and should be hard to beat.

PURE GRUNT (5) has excellent gate speed and draws the front row allowing him the opportunity to launch across early in this race. He was a last start winner at Newcastle in good time for a 2YO. If he can secure the right run he should be thereabouts.

BOSTON CHIEF (1) will need to be quick early to hold out the brilliant beginner Pure Grunt. If he can hold a forward enough position he should secure a good run in the race. He was impressive when running second to Fight For Victory in the end Qbred Breeders Classic final.

OPALLANE (8) looks likely to gain a soft run on the pegs close enough in the run. He was a winner three starts ago in a much easier race.

SELECTIONS: FIRE AND PASSION (6), PURE GRUNT (5), BOSTON CHIEF (1), OPALLANE (8)

SUGGESTED BET: BOSTON CHIEF (1) to place.

RACE 11

SURPRISE LANDING (2) has good early speed and looks to have landed in a race where she might be able to zip across early. She made a break last start which took her out of contention and has been solid in her two starts prior to that since joining the stable of Shane Graham.

FRANCO NEL (9) went around a short priced favourite last start and was able to find the front there. Looks likely to get a good run through in this race and shouldn’t be too far away early.

IMANI (3) secured a good run on the pegs last start and wasn’t beaten too far by Oaks runner La Miki. Has drawn a low gate in this race and should be able to secure a good somewhere close enough to the speed.

MY ULTIMATE FRANCO (1) has shown good ability in recent trials and race starts scoring one win and one second placing in two starts. This looks a considerable step up into this race taking on older rivals.

SELECTIONS: SURPRISE LANDING (2), FRANCO NEL (9), IMANI (3), MY ULTIMATE FRANCO (1)

SUGGESTED BET:
