RACE ONE

A newcomer to the Charlie Cini barn, WICKED WHISKEY (1) made his race debut back in May at Goulburn when 3rdWith two trials at Penrith in readiness for a second campaign, he lands the gate to take full advantage with a winning return.

 AWHOLELOTTAHAPPY (2)
has placed in two of her four starts, with her latest appearance when missing the placings but finishing just 2m from the winner. With early speed, she can look to fire the early shots and up near the speed will throw down a big challenge.

 BENNYDASOOK (6)
has been runner-up in two runs back from a break, the latest when beaten just a head margin. Heavily supported to start deep into the red in that, he can feature again.

 MAYWYN VALENTINO (8)
will appreciate a fence trip here after retreating from a centre line draw when on debut. Following the action, he can make improvements second up.

SELECTIONS: WICKED WHISKEY (1), AWHOLELOTTAHAPPY (2), BENNYDASOOK (6), MAYWYN VALENTINO (8)
SUGGESTED BET: WICKED WHISKEY (1) to win

RACE TWO

Tackling veteran’s company two starts back, ROYAL SPEECH (5) was able to stomp out a big mile in 1.50.3 despite doing his share of work. Throwing it down last start when just a head from victory behind OUR SUNSET DELIGHT, the small field can see him cash in once again.

 CONGO LINE (2)
has hit the board at his past four in succession which includes a win three starts back when owning superior closing speed to arrive for a 3m margin. Runner-up to SINABUN in sizzling time two back, the small field and a cheap spot in transit are in his favour.

 THE VICAR OF DIBLEY (4)
returns from a spell after her last run was a 4m deficit behind the gun mare EYE KEEP SMILING. Just a half-neck away three starts back, she is a podium player fresh.

SELECTIONS: ROYAL SPEECH (5), CONGO LINE (2), THE VICAR OF DIBLEY (4)
 SUGGESTED BET:
ROYAL SPEECH (5) to win

RACE THREE

MACS A DUDE (5) started from gate seven last time out when retreating early before working home in good order to finish midfield. Chasing home when 7m astern of the winner two starts back, he finds the right set up to press forward and stake claim for victory.

 SNIP OF BEAUTY (11)
could not get warm in the latter stages at Redcliffe last time out when finishing near the rear. Strong to the line here two starts back at the mile when 5m astern of the winner, she has p[laced at her previous four in succession and tempo will help here.

 TEACHERS PET (1)
was exposed early before cover arrived over this same trip last start but could not get warm in the closing stages. With all the options from this gate, she can feature.

 JOHN SNOW (7)
is given no favours from the wide gate, the same alley he faced last time out when midfield behind SPORTS BOUNTY. Positioning cheaply will be key to his hopes.

SELECTIONS: MACS A DUDE (5), SNIP OF BEAUTY (11), TEACHERS PET (1), JOHN SNOW (7)
 SUGGESTED BET:
MACS A DUDE (5) to win

RACE FOUR

With two wins in her past three starts, IDEAL DESIRE (8) will rely on some factors in her favour to add another W here. Making the most of gate one to dictate over the middle trip last week and fend them off to score, her win three back was from off-pace when charging late.

 ULTIMATE ARK (9)
angled to the fence last time and when the speed went on at the 400 was needing space but had nowhere to go. Running up behind them and only sighting a gap to grab the bronze when it was all over. Still chasing his first win on this deck after 21 attempts, he profiles well to change the numbers.

 SPORTS BOUNTY (6)
is chasing a hat-trick of victories after successive wins at the mile when calling the shots in front. The wider gate makes the chance to the threepeat much harder.

 POCKET BOOK (1)
made some late ground to finish midfield last start after being buried in the run. From this gate, she is a podium player with the right trip.

SELECTIONS: IDEAL DESIRE (8), ULTIMATE ARK (9), SPORTS BOUNTY (6), POCKET BOOK (1)
 SUGGESTED BET:

RACE FIVE

A tricky contest to line up here, made no easier by the questionable credentials of many of these at the 2138m trip. ROYAL PRINCESS (9) was a winner over this distance last start from the running line, finishing over the top to score a 2m margin. The right trail can see her repeat.

 FAVREAU (6)
is afforded no favours from the wide gate, but his recent efforts suggest he is moving closer to another victory. Wide off the track and closing hard when 2m from KEAYANG TARA last time at Redcliffe, this might be the right set up to issue a challenge.

 CHEDDAR MADE BETA (2)
can settle handy from this gate to be a closing force in this. Runner-up at Redcliffe two starts back, he was forced to hang tough last time.

 KEAYANG TARA (11)
found the right tempo at Redcliffe two starts back when buried in the run before swooping hard in the stretch to arrive ion the last stride. A soft trip will aid her claims.

SELECTIONS: ROYAL PRINCESS (9), FAVREAU (6), CHEDDAR MADE BETA (2), KEAYANG TARA (11)
 SUGGESTED BET:
ROYAL PRINCESS (9) to win

RACE SIX

Despite faced with the 10m tape, if MISTY CREEK (2) can display his best manners, he can be working forward quickly to find a forward spot. Not suited last start when forced to chair up at Redcliffe, the start prior he closed strongly. A good step can see him stake claim.

 BANGKOK DEEJAY (5)
returns from a spell in what has been an interrupted 2025 that has seen him start on just two occasions. Making his first appearance from behind the tapes under race conditions, his two trials in readiness have been sound. Stepping safely is the key.

 MAJOR JELLIS (3)
was stuck wide last start from an awkward draw when not too far from the winner CHECKNOUTTHETALENT. There is a query on his tape manners at the standing start, lining up for the first time in Aus and since March 2022 at this start type.

 ARKIN WICKED (1)
was just a half-neck away at his first appearance behind the tapes here three starts back when taking the trail and issuing the last dive on the leader and winner. He can feature again here.

SELECTIONS: MISTY CREEK (2), BANGKOK DEEJAY (5), MAJOR JELLIS (3), ARKIN WICKED (1)
 SUGGESTED BET:
MISTY CREEK (2) to win

RACE SEVEN

With two wins in his past three starts RAKASANDY (5) is starting to put it together with his latest win coming via the passing lane. Working home from wide off track three starts back to score, his effort two back was luckless from inside the second line. He can build further here.

 MISTER REACTOR (9)
will need a slice of luck at some stage or look to get off the fence early as he moves to inside the second line. Sent to the post as the fav last start at Redcliffe, he was working in the run when 3rd. With the right trip, he can issue a challenge.

 RIBEIRO (2)
was sent around them in the early stages from a second line gate at Redcliffe last time out and sitting parked was able to hold on for the bronze. An improved gate is a big plus.

 BACK TO BETOOTA (7)
was returning from a spell here last week when striking trouble soon after the start which ended his hopes. Taking some benefit from the outing, he can feature here.

SELECTIONS: RAKASANDY (5), MISTER REACTOR (9), RIBEIRO (2), BACK TO BETOOTA (7)
 SUGGESTED BET:
RAKASANDY (5) to win

RACE EIGHT

Some converging form lines for this contest where a pair of 2YO’s might just have the edge on their older rivals. SITTING ON EIGHT (4) has been racing out of his age in the four starts since winning here in late August. Placed in three of those, he was not suited last start as THE RASCAL carved it out in front. This looks more appealing.

 TIMMYTEO (6)
is another of the 2Yos and should strip fitter following his last start victory. Starting from this same gate in that event, he was sent forward to take control and dictating from the front took a 2m margin. This is the next step up, but he looks up to the task.

 REDS ABLAZE (7)
started from this same gate at her last appearance when snagged off the arm to the rear. Closing strongly for 2nd behind subsequent winner EAGLESPRIDE. The gate stings.

 BRAVENTREACHEROUS (5)
was snookered last start from inside the second line and was charging late to be just a neck from the winner. With the right trip, he is a podium player again.

SELECTIONS: TIMMYTEO (6), REDS ABLAZE (7), BRAVENTREACHEROUS (5) SITTING ON EIGHT (4),
 SUGGESTED BET:
SITTING ON EIGHT (4) to win
