Form Analysis: Redcliffe October 30

RACE 1 

OUR ULTIMATE BEATY (3) appeared to have her chance last start in what might’ve been a slightly stronger maiden which was taken out by Untenable. She appears to find a race where she will be able to zip across in the early stages and from there she should get every chance to break her maiden status. 

LONE RANGER JUJON (9) trialled up smartly recently at Redcliffe when appearing to hit the line strongly late. The draw may suit not having to do any early work in this race and he can be running into it late if the race is run to suit.

MY SWEET ELISE (7) showed good gate speed two starts ago when leading most of the way and running third behind Moonshine Milly. She then did things wrong last start and was tailed off. Should be thereabouts if the luck comes at the right time.

BOSTON FIRE (1) drew poorly two starts ago and was making up ground into fourth behind Keeping It Simple. He should get a good run from a favourable draw and will be hard to hold out late.

RACE 2 

UNTENABLE (5) won impressively last start when doing plenty of work in just his second career start at this track. He draws wide in this race and is likely be forced to do work in the run at some stage. He looks hard to beat again.

JACK FYRE (4) put in a good run last start when beaten narrowly by Cullectingcardles in solid time for the grade. He seems to run his best races when able to find the fence having put in a good run two starts ago to finish fourth at this track. He can figure with the right run.

FAKISTRA (6) was first up from a spell last start when getting a long way back and running on late behind Cullectingcardles. It’s likely he will be better for the outing first up and if the race is run to suit he can be running over the top late. 

ICANANDIWILL (1) put in what arguably might’ve been a career best run last time out when leading at Marburg and running home solid sectionals when beaten by Rissoles. Has the speed to dictate early in this race and should be thereabouts again in what is a tougher race.

RACE 3

JIMMY JOYCE (9) put in a much better run last start when pushing through off the back row landing 1-1 and running on into second behind Three Machs who has been in excellent form recently. He draws on the back row again but should secure a good run and if the race is run to suit he can be running on late.

SKIPPERS SWAN SONG (6) led two starts ago at Marburg and proved too good there when leading all the way. She then took on a stronger race which was taken out by Absolutely Stoked at Albion Park where she only beat two home. She can bounce back.

THE BLACK FOX (7) put in a good run last start when finishing third behind Montana One at Marburg in solid overall time for the track and grade of race. He appears to draw quite awkwardly inside the back row following out a horse that probably at her best at the moment in Lara Bay.

GIDUP CAPTAIN (4) was a winner five starts ago when running over the top late to score. He put in a solid run last start when just getting tired late in what appeared to be a stronger race at Albion Park taken out by Jimmy Bling.

RACE 4

GENTLE GIANT (1) has good early speed and might be able to drive through and lead them up. His most recent win was almost a year ago when leading all of the way at Penrith. He put in a solid run last start at Albion Park and should find this easier.

MALIBU DREAM (4) got a long way back from a wide draw last start when running on strongly behind Jukebox Jet. This race might be a touch easier and she draws closer in here which should see her settling closer in the run. Looks hard to hold out.

EBONY BELLE (5) put in another good run last start when getting back in the run and running on late. She draws wide this time and has shown she can be driven a number of ways in recent starts. She should be hard to hold out in this company.

MATAI REACTOR (7) didn’t have the best of luck last start when inside the back row dragged out the race at a crucial stage by the tiring leader. He looks likely to get a good run through on the back of a gate speed horse and with more luck could figure.

SUGGESTED BET: GENTLE GIANT (1) to win.

RACE 5

OYSTER STRIDE (2) has good early speed and might be able to work to the lead in this race from the good draw. He copped a lot of pressure last start and was a great run to keep battling away for third. The distance may be a slight query but if he can control things cheaply in front he can be hard to catch.

LITTLEMICKEY (5) ran on strongly two starts ago to just miss behind Shadys Delight after starting from a poor draw. He then didn’t have much luck last start when badly held up. He draws wide again but should be running on late. 

THE REAL ROCKETMAN (9) found the front four starts ago and proved too good rating solid time. He seems to do his best work out in front but has taken on much stronger fields in his last two starts and will find this a lot easier despite drawing outside the back row.

MISTER DELWIN (7) draws somewhat awkwardly inside the back row and may be shuffled back early. Came from a long way back to score an impressive win at Marburg last start beating Erasmus over the 2200.

SUGGESTED BET: 

RACE 6 

ROCKSNGEMS (1) has very good gate speed and should be able to drive through and lead this race in the early stages. He has been running fast times for the grade in recent starts and if he runs up to his recent form he should be extremely hard to catch again.

BUDDY PERFECT (7) should get a good run through on the back of a gate speed horse in this race. He had no luck last start when badly held up behind a tiring leader. Can turn around his numerical form.

ALWAYS LOCKSLEY (8) wasn’t at his best last start when breezing and being well beaten over the 2040. He could secure a soft run on the pegs in this race and can bounce back to somewhere nearer his best.

BEV THE GOAT (9) was able to run a good placing two starts ago when holding out classy stablemate Cheer Leader for third at Albion Park. She then took on a stronger race which was won by Sweet Mia and finished down the track there.

RACE 7

KONNYMARA (1) with the aid of the 2040 start point he should be able to drive through and lead this race in the early stages. He ran well behind Shez A Punter which looks a solid form reference for this type of race. 

TIGER TOMMY (7) should get a good run through on the back of Konnymara in this race. She has been in good form in recent starts having run two recent seconds including a very good run two starts ago behind Rocksngems in fast time for the grade. Looks hard to hold out.

MIKIS JOE (8) was a good winner five starts ago when sitting without cover and proving too good for Pennie Packer. He has since run well including a good effort last start behind Carbineer after drawing poorly he was running on late to be beaten just 6.6 metres.

ROCK HAMMER (10) was good to battle away for third last start in a race taken out by Bold Medley Jujon. He draws poorly in this race but appears well graded in this race and can be driven a number of ways.

SUGGESTED BET: MIKIS JOE (8) each way.

RACE 8

LITTLE HOOFANNANNY (2) appeared to have every chance two starts ago when comprehensively beaten by Perfectly Quirky at this track. If she was able to find her way to the lead she would become the one to beat and very hard to run down. She ran well behind Bettors Moon last start.

BETTYS GOLD CLASS (1) has very good gate speed and showed that two starts ago to zip across and lead them up before taking them all the way. She steps up in class and up in trip to the lead 2040 which has never been her preferred distance. She will have options shortly after the start.

SMARTER THAN YOU (5) was good enough to battle away for fourth when first up for a spell behind Bold Medley Jujon who rated an incredible 1.50 mile rate in a fairly low grade race. He should be better for the run first up and has always been a horse that’s shown good ability.

B MAC C (9) was badly held up last start at a crucial stage when running third at Marburg. He isn’t ideally suited over the 2040 in this race but has won at the track and trip previously and looks well placed in this grade of race.

RACE 9

ABSOLUTELTY STOKED (7) should get a good run through on the back of Tracer Bullet. She is a horse that does her best racing with a sit and looks ideally suited from this draw in this race. Should be hard to hold out.

TRACER BULLET (1) has good early speed and should be able to drive through and lead them up. He is generally a horse that’s always done his best work up on speed. His latest win came when leading all the way over the 1780 when winning impressively. 

TWILIGHT TANGO (8) should secure a soft run on the pegs in this race following what are likely to be a few of the fancies. She was a good winner five starts ago after securing a similar run at this track and distance.

GOODOLDBOYSANDBEER (5) seems to do his best work up on speed in his races. He is suited at this distance and will likely be put on speed and look to outstay them late.
