Form Analysis: Albion Park November 14

14 November 2025

RACE ONE

A small mobile trot for the 3YOs to open the card where ASPIRING VICTREE (5) is the only runner that can boast a victory from behind the start car. Not suited off 20m last start when parked and second up from a spell, she was runner-up in the Springboard Final three back before being sent for a break. This looks ideal.

 DOWN SOUTH DAISY (1)
was sent to the post as fav last week when faced with a 10m tape and making a late raid for the silver. Striking trouble two starts back in a standing start event, she has placed in four of five from the mobile and with the benefit of the inside gate can issue the challenge.

 OUR PETABILT (4)
is yet to hit the board in six mobile appearances. Excluding them from her career record, her figures are impressive. A small field will help her turn the numbers.

SELECTIONS: ASPIRING VICTREE (5), DOWN SOUTH DAISY (1), OUR PETABILT (4)
SUGGESTED BET: ASPIRING VICTREE (5) to win

SUGGESTED BET: ASPIRING VICTREE (5) to win

RACE TWO

A newcomer to the Turpin stable, DAISY DIANA (7) is a 3YO filly that arrives from the South of NZ with a solitary victory recorded back in August over the 2200 at Gore. Prepped for this assignment with a tidy trial here at The Creek, the stable has an impressive record first up with these type of pacers.

TWILIGHT TANGO (4) was fired off the gate here last week and from the front led until the closing stages when collared by BRITTS MATE. Taking the silver, it followed a 3rd at Redcliffe behind subsequent winner ABSOLUTELY STOKED. Positioning cheaply can see her challenge.

OHOKAREDROBINJUJON (1) was snookered on the poles in a Sunshine Stars heat last time out when under 7m from the winner. A soft trip here can see his feature.

 YANKEE C J (8)
should secure an economical journey in behind the action and be searching for gaps in the stretch. Trying to take them all the way last start when 4th, he can join in here.

SELECTIONS: DAISY DIANA (7), TWILIGHT TANGO (4), OHOKAREDROBINJUJON (1), YANKEE C J (8)
 SUGGESTED BET:

RACE THREE

Not receiving the chance to defend his Sunshine Stars crown after missing the Final, TORO LOCO (6) can seek some winning redemption here. Only 7m from the winner HAPPY AS CAN BE last time out, the start prior he was strong to the line despite missing the money. A winless season can be turned around here.

 MY ULTIMATE COSSIE (4)
is on the short back-up after winning here on Tuesday over the middle trip. Holding the pocket trail from gate 1, he made the closing shot a winning one to post a 4m margin. Only a neck away at his previous outing, he can be handy enough to challenge.

 BEACH MAGIC (1)
held on for the bronze from this gate two starts back when using the passing lane to be withing 3m of the winner. Too far back last start, he can feature from this gate.

 KONNYMARA (5)
was eased from gate 7 last start and from deep field was able to make some late metres when unplaced. Collared late after leading at Redcliffe two back, he is a place hope here.

SELECTIONS: TORO LOCO (6), MY ULTIMATE COSSIE (4), BEACH MAGIC (1), KONNYMARA (5)
 SUGGESTED BET:
TORO LOCO (6) to win

RACE FOUR

The first of two heats for the DJA Series where the good beginner IZARRA (2) will appreciate the front tape. Kept fresh since her last appearance when a beaten fav at the middle trip, she was faced with a 10m tape on that occasion. Off the front and stepping cleanly give her every hope.

 GOLDEN SUNSET (11)
has placed in both starts since resuming from a spell, the latest when fired out to set the tempo at the 2138 mobile trip. Holding on for the silver behind subsequent G! winner GUS, she is safe off the tapes and likes the 2647 trip, both the right trait required to challenge.

 LOVE GUN (12)
will need to be wide at some point from the 20m tape but with the right trip, this is not out of reach. Midfield last start behind SHEZA CHANCE, he can be joining in.

 DARCYS FIREBALL (6)
can be hard follow, but his past three have been much sharper from behind the start car. Back to the tapes for this series, a safe start can see him in the money.

SELECTIONS: IZARRA (2), GOLDEN SUNSET (11), LOVE GUN (12), DARCYS FIREBALL (6)
 SUGGESTED BET:
IZARRA (2) to win

RACE FIVE

IDEAL DESIRE (8) was a winner over this trip three starts back when holding them wide and fighting them off in the closing stages. Making a late play on the passing lane from this gate for the bronze at her next start, she will be relying on some favours in what looks an open contest.

 OUR ULTIMATE LUKA (3)
was exposed early before receiving cover over this same trip last start and was best of the chasers for the silver behind MOONSHINER. Never getting warm the start prior at Redcliffe, from the gate she can be handy enough to challenge in this line up.

 ROCK HAMMER (1)
held on for the bronze behind the airborne BOLD MEDLEY JUJON three starts back. Not far away his past two, the set up here looks much more favourable.

 MARDIBRINGSAPARTY (12)
is a last-start winner after being buried from inside the second line. Darting through on the passing lane when the gap opened, she can be making a closing raid.

SELECTIONS: IDEAL DESIRE (8), OUR ULTIMATE LUKA (3), ROCK HAMMER (1), MARDIBRINGSAPARTY (12)
 SUGGESTED BET:

RACE SIX

The second of the Round 1 DJA heats where HIDE AND SEEK (13) can capitalise, if, and only if, he can bring racing manners. They deserted him last start from the 30m tape and he was never a factor. A winner in three of his previous four, including a dictating win from the 20m over this trip two starts back.

 MUFASA METRO (11)
was game in defeat at Marburg when parked over the long trip and finishing under 4m from the winner. Setting the track record tempo from the front at the mobile mile the start prior, he can look for a cart into the contest and gets the chance to throw down a challenge.

 MCGEE (5)
has developed a handy record since arriving in Qld and importantly from a front tape perspective, is a good beginner. Stepping and setting the speed last start when holding 3rd, finding the fence will aid his chances.

 SHEZA CHANCE (8)
made it four on the bounce last start when finding the trail and finishing best in the stretch to score. This will be her first look at the 13 furlongs which does pose a query.

SELECTIONS: HIDE AND SEEK (13), MUFASA METRO (11), MCGEE (5), SHEZA CHANCE (8)
 SUGGESTED BET:
HIDE AND SEEK (13) to win

RACE SEVEN

Making his first appearance in the Sunshine State from the same gate and trip, CHEERSTOLOU (10) was immense. Circling the field to find the front, the power was on, yet he was well within himself when posting a 1.50.8 mile. Added fitness and acclimatisation can see him repeat.

 MOONSHINER (2)
was first up on this side of the Tasman last time out when tackling a 2138m contest. Sent forward at the 1200 to find the front from a second line gate, he was able to take a 9m margin on the wire. Back to the mile from this gate will see him issue the challenge.

 KYLOAN QUEEN (7)
went straight to the front from gate 2 last time out and following a steady opening half, dialed it up down the back with a 26.4. Taking a 5m victory, she can run the arm.

 ALWAYS LOCKSLEY (1)
found the right conditions last start at Redcliffe when taking control and fending them off in smart time. With the mapping favours, he has podium claims.

SELECTIONS: CHEERSTOLOU (10), MOONSHINER (2), KYLOAN QUEEN (7), ALWAYS LOCKSLEY (1)
 SUGGESTED BET:
CHEERSTOLOU (10) to win

RACE EIGHT

LANAI (4) started from gate 6 last time out and did not have the smoothest passage and hit dead-ends in the stretch when needing space. Still producing a slick last 800, his effort two starts back from the second line was solid and with good tempo, can descend on them.

 MY ROCKY ROMANCE (5)
faced the outside second line last time out and was making a late raid to grab the silver when 5m astern of KYLOAN QUEEN. Eased from this gate and buried away the start prior when strong to the line, he can be making a late challenge here.

 LULU MAE (9)
was chasing a hat-trick of wins last time out when striking a strong mares FFA from an awkward gate, fading over the closing stages in slick time. Despite the gate, a return to this grade is more suitable.

 REDS STAR DEAL (3)
took out a qualifier two starts back when working forward and then taking cover. Buried last start from inside the second line, he is a podium player in this set up.

SELECTIONS: LANAI (4), MY ROCKY ROMANCE (5), LULU MAE (9), REDS STAR DEAL (3)
 SUGGESTED BET:
LANAI (4) to win
