Form Analysis: Redcliffe November 12

RACE 1 

MAYWYNS KAREN (10) scored a dominant win two starts ago at this track when doing the work outside the leader and putting up a big margin on her rivals late. She then put in another good run last start when running on strongly into second. She takes on a similar race and should be hard to hold out.

PERFECT FEELING (9) was able to run into third in a similar race last start from a wide draw behind The Real Vanessa. He is likely to be better suited by this back row draw where he can just settle early and be saved for one run at them late. 

DOWNTOWN MANHATTAN (3) ran on well into second from a long way off the speed in a race taken out by The Real Vanessa. He is a horse that generally seems to do his best work at this stage in his career when driven conservatively early.

OYSTER STRIDE (7) looks the class runner of the field and appears likely to get a good run through early on the back of Jilliby Tsunami. If the runs come at the right time he can be running into it late.

RACE 2 

CREDULOUS (3) has just moderate gate speed but may be suited in this race where she can just work forward and find a prominent position. She ran well last start behind Lulu Mae when shuffled back early before hitting the line nicely late. 

WE ALWAYS HAVE FAITH (10) took on a strong race taken out by Birkikara at Albion Park last start and should find this easier dropping back to racing at Redcliffe. He hasn’t done much racing at the track but has previously won a strong enough race when taking out the Redcliffe Guineas in 2022.

OBI ONE (6) put in a good run last start when running into second at this track. He has now had three runs back from a spell and should be nearing peak fitness. Has a tough draw to navigate and is likely to get a long way back early.

MACH ASSASSIN (8) was a good winner three starts ago when proving too strong after doing the work in the race. He has since trialled well at this track including a good fourth behind Mydadsaid.

RACE 3

SIR RICHARD LEE (4) was able to find the front two starts ago and raced away to beat Punters Jewel by a big margin. He then took on The Rascal last start and was able to hang on for third after Bettors Moon ran past him into second. He enjoys racing at this trip and should be hard to beat.

BART BENTLEY (2) was able to run on over the top two starts ago to score over Rock Nien. He draws well in this race and should find a good position in the running line if he isn’t able to get over to the fence early.

WINDY HILL WALLY (9) has been in good recent form. He was able to lead all the way two starts ago before running well again last start finishing third. He will be hoping for a genuine early tempo and can be running on late. 

WAR CLUB (1) has enough gate speed to drive through and lead before having options from there. He has been starting from awkward draws in recent starts and is going better than his numerical form suggests.

RACE 4 

JAY TEE TYRON (3) did some early work last start and was just beaten by Saint Louis Beat who was able to secure a good run in the race on the leaders back. He is a long way back in grade on some of his better efforts and should be hard to beat.

DIEGO DELGADO (5) bounced back to form last start scoring a dominant win at this track and rating fast time for the grade. He draws awkwardly this time closer to the outside of the front row and may be forced to do some work. 

SAINT LOUIS BEAT (1) has been racing in good form having won well last start after a terrific drive which saw him able to sneak in leaders back in the early stages. He has good gate speed and will have options from the low draw. 

ABSOLUTELY STOKED (7) should get a good run on the back of Saint Louis Beat in this race. She was able to score nicely last start at this track when running on over the top and putting a solid margin on her rivals to make it a hat-trick of wins.

RACE 5

ASHLEE NITRO (9) has returned to some of her better form in recent starts having scored back-to-back wins and will be looking to make it a hat-trick in this race. She secured a good run last start and was able to shoot through late to score nicely. This race looks to be of a similar level and she should be hard to beat again.

AMILLIONCHANCES (6) scored an impressive win two starts ago when racing away to win by a big margin. He then drew wide last start and was taken a long way back in the run before hitting the line well late. He will likely need a few things to go his way from the wide gate but does appear one of the main chances. 

SNIP OF BEAUTY (2) draws favourably in this race in gate 2 and looks set to secure a good run in this race. She secured a good run two starts ago on the pegs and was able to finish over the top of Betting Baron. 

HEZA MAYWYN (5) was forced to do the work last start and wasn’t beaten far when finishing fourth behind Ashlee Nitro. He draws wide this time and may be forced to do work again at some stage in the race.

RACE 6 

HIGHNMIGHTY (2) was caught wide early last start when drawing widest last start at this track and running well for second. She looks to have found a race she may be able to hold a forward position. If she was able to lead she would be hard to run down.

MOONSHINE MILLY (6) has shown very good ability while doing plenty wrong in his short career so far. Given his tendency to do a few things wrong he may drift a long way back from the wide draw and can be running on late. 

MAGIC JUJON (3) has gate speed but does draw outside of a horse that leaves the gate well enough. She scored a good win last start beating All Eyes On Bling who has also shown good ability so far in his career. 

CHECKNOUTTHEBILL (7) put in a good run last start on debut behind Louminate. Looks likely to get a good run through and can be running into the minor money late.

RACE 7

CALL IT BLING (8) looks the class runner in this race having scored in 5 of his 9 career starts. He was able to score last start after securing a great run on the pegs and being able to work into the clear at just the right time. He did some work in his start prior and wasn’t beaten far by Uncle Craigo when running second. Looks hard to beat.

ADAH KOKO (1) led and scored an easy win last time out when returning to QLD to break her maiden status. This race looks tougher but she does draw gate 1 to offset that. Should be hard to beat.

MACK ATTACK (7) looks likely to get a great run through on the pegs on the back of a horse that has shown good gate speed in ADAH KOKO (1). He has done his best racing when able to find the fence at some stage and could be a big improver in this race. 

LOUMINATE (3) was able to find the front last start and scored a dominant win in a maiden. She will find this harder and she draws somewhat awkwardly. Can figure with the right run.

RACE 8

BASILISK BOB (3) took on a strong 3YO race last start which was taken out by the promising Fernco Nel. A midfield finish in that race looks strong form for a race of this nature. The small field appears to suit and he should be hard to beat.

CEDAR CREEK FALLS (4) sat without cover and won impressively two starts ago before not having much luck last time out behind Bart Bently. Appears to draw quite awkwardly in this race and will need the right run.

BLING THE NOISE (2) led last start and was able to prove too good at Albion Park over the 1660. He should be able to work to the lead again in this race before having options from there. 

GLENEAGLE RULER (7) should get a good run on the pegs in this race following the speed. Has been in impressive form but does appear to step up a long way in grade and may find a few too good in this race.

SUGGESTED BET: BASILISK BOB (3) to win.

RACE 9

ZAC DANIELS (4) should be able to work to the front and prove hard to beat. He was able to lead last start at Albion Park and took them all the way to score and rate good time. He has run well previously at the track and trip and should be hard to beat. 

HELL IM SMOOTH (5) draws awkwardly out wide on the track and will likely need a few things to go his way to be a winning hope. He has trialled well ahead of a return to the races and should be thereabouts. 

JIVE MASTER (6) draws poorly in this race and will likely get a long way back in the early stages. He was a winner two starts ago at this track and trip before running on well again last start after getting a long way back from a wide draw. 

CHEEKY BABY (2) looks tested in this company having done most of her racing in restricted wins company. She draws well and should be able to secure a good run.

RACE 10

DIVINE ABUNDANCE (3) had very little luck in a recent trial when interfered with a number of times before hitting the line nicely late alongside Son Of Xena who has come out and won nicely since. She showed reasonable gate speed in that trial and may be able to do enough to get forward and find a prominent position. 

CALL KELLY (4) hit the line nicely late on debut after securing a good run in a race taken out by Son Of Xena. She draws awkwardly in this race but does appear to have ability and is likely to have derived a lot of benefit from that effort on debut.

I AM CAESAR (9) trialled up well behind Moonshiner at Albion Park before being left without cover in a race taken out by Blue Dragon. He should secure a good run off the speed and can be running into it late. 

AUNTY TINY (7) was able to run second last start after finding the front in the early stages and just being run down by Torque About Awish who had the perfect run on her back. She will need luck from the inside back row draw.
