Crisafulli Government launches Sport HQ to strengthen community sport

11 December 2025

The Crisafulli Government has delivered a new resource to support and guide sport and racing organisations to be more effective and efficient.

Sport Hub Queensland (Sport HQ) is a free, accessible online hub designed to help strengthen sport and racing organisations leading up to and beyond the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

It’s just one of the ways the Crisafulli Government is delivering a plan for Queensland’s future, supporting grassroots sport and delivering a world-class Games with a lasting legacy.

Sport HQ is an easy-to-use online resource delivering tools, templates and videos to address real challenges Queensland sport and racing organisations face, regardless of their size or location.

Sport HQ will align to the new 10-year Sport Strategy for Queensland, to be unveiled in early 2026.

Minister for Sport and Racing and Minister for the Olympic and Paralympic Games Tim Mander said Sport HQ was a vital tool for industry sustainability and growth.

“Sport HQ will support the local legends that power sport and racing in Queensland, allowing them to run their organisations with ease,” Minister Mander said.

“Improving efficiency within our clubs will streamline their administrative processes, allowing them to focus more on the young Queenslanders who will learn to love sport at their clubs.

“Sport HQ has been designed to respond to the industry needs of sport and racing clubs with new tools, resources and insights to support a sustainable industry now and into the future.

“The Crisafulli Government backs grassroots sports and the racing industry, and we’re making sure that our clubs can have the resources to encourage sporting participation in the lead up to the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games.”
