Form Analysis: Albion Park December 13

13 December 2025

RACE ONE

With plenty to offer and never sighting open road here two starts back, CALL TO ORDER (9) loomed strongly here last week to get within a head of victory. Snagged back off a wide gate and then making a wide run at the 2138, he can trail through and take his shot at victory.

 ROCKS OR DIAMONDS (1)
has faced an extended winless streak but has never been too far from the action. Holding on for the bronze behind IN EXCESS three starts back, gate 6 has been the undoing at the next two appearances. Making metres behind ELLIS STREET last start, the improved gate is a huge asset.

 CONGO LINE (6)
faced an outside second line gate last start and was hitting the line in good style when 4m astern of the winner SUPA AMERICAN. A wide gate makes it another tough ask.

 BRONSKI ZULU (3)
tried to dictate from gate 1 last week and led them turning for home but was out of tokens and missed the money. Positioning cheaply will be key to his podium claims here.

SELECTIONS: CALL TO ORDER (9), ROCKS OR DIAMONDS (1), CONGO LINE (6), BRONSKI ZULU (3)
SUGGESTED BET: CALL TO ORDER (9) to win

RACE TWO

Faced with gates 6 and 7 at his past two starts, BRAVENTREACHEROUS (5) can move one alley closer for an open edition of the Members Cup. Making closing metres for the bronze last start when retreating, the start prior was in the 1.48.9 blitz by CHEERSTOLOU. With early speed and two wins in his past five starts, this is within reach.

 MISTER REACTOR (6)
is a last start winner from behind the tapes where he was able to step cleanly from 10m, find the pocket trail and finish best along the passing lane. Trying to make ground from the second line the start prior, the gate stings but he is up to the challenge.

 LUVBITE (8)
will need some luck at some point to find open road after a luckless effort last week in the Bill Dixon. A close 3rd behind ELLIS STREET two starts back, he just needs an opening.

 DEMON BLUE (3)
moved up three wide last start in a 3YO contest but stalled and then finished near the rear as FERNCO NEL arrived. 3rd to BRAVENTREACHEROUS three back, he has claims.

SELECTIONS:
BRAVENTREACHEROUS (5), MISTER REACTOR (6), LUVBITE (8), DEMON BLUE (3)
 SUGGESTED BET:
BRAVENTREACHEROUS (5) to win

RACE THREE

The early scratching throws this race wide open and presents a tricky map to define. WINDY HILL TARA (4) angled to the poles last week in the Forever Gold and chased home into 4th behind LUX AETERNA. Not far away behind TREMENDOUS SENSATION the start prior, she has the gate to get handy and although yet to win since arriving in QLD, this looks within reach.

THE VICAR OF DIBLEY (7) is afforded no favours from this gate and will need a rub of the green at some point for things to go her way. Fading after a tough trip when parked last start as LUX AETERNA darted home, she will take benefit from the run after a month between runs.

SERGIOS ROCKET (3) was charging home along the poles to grab the silver in the Queen of the Creek when only a half-neck from the winner. Positioning handy will assist her podium claims.

 IMA QUEEN BEE (1)
maps for an economical trip which should be a big asset after wide gates at her past two starts. A luckless 4th from the fence behind TREMENDOUS SENSATION three back, she will be probing.

SELECTIONS: WINDY HILL TARA (4), THE VICAR OF DIBLEY (7), SERGIOS ROCKET (3), IMA QUEEN BEE (1)
 SUGGESTED BET:
WINDY HILL TARA (4) to win

RACE FOUR

Denied last week of a second Blacks A Fake title, LEAP TO FAME (4) was still enormous in defeat, sent to the breeze and once again asked to do all the work. Beaten the barest possible margin in a track record equaling rate, he can bounce back with victory in this line up.

SPEAK THE TRUTH (3)
should take great benefit from last week’s Grand Circuit event where he was first up from a spell with a sectionally strong effort in holding 5th place. With the benefit of his early speed and looking to find the pegs first, he can attempt some form of challenge.

TIMS A TROOPER (1)
was best of the chasing peloton behind the big three that cleared out to dominate the Blacks A Fake. With another fence trip mapped here, he is a podium player.

CAPTAIN HAMMERHEAD (5)
was sent to the front last week at this trip and controlling the tempo fought off all challengers to score. The map in this race makes it tougher.

SELECTIONS: LEAP TO FAME (4), SPEAK THE TRUTH (3), TIMS A TROOPER (1), CAPTAIN HAMMERHEAD (5)
 SUGGESTED BET:
Exotics 4 / 1-3-5

RACE FIVE

A tricky qualifier at the middle trip where CARBINEER (2) might just find the right set up to capitalise. Fading out after a tough trip last time when parked, he has been out sped in recent appearances behind the likes of CHEERSTOLOU, FERNCO NEL and BOLD MEDLEY JUJON. This looks more in the right areas.

 MY ULTIMATE FLYNN (7)
arrives in Qld with 11 wins to his credit to join the Matt Elkins barn. Missing a cheque yet under 3m from the winner LORD ZARIAS two starts back, he comes into this without a public appearance and despite the gate, stays under notice.

 ROCK HAMMER (10)
completed a hat-trick of victories last start when overcoming a wide gate at Redcliffe. Dictating in front over this trip three back, the gate makes it a tough ask.

 SHARDS MATRIX (9)
was beaten for speed from gate 1 last start and from the pocket trail held on for the bronze behind MULLUM HANK. Fitter again after three runs back, he is a podium hope.

SELECTIONS: CARBINEER (2), MY ULTIMATE FLYNN (7), ROCK HAMMER (10), SHARDS MATRIX (9)
 SUGGESTED BET:

RACE SIX

Placed at her past four starts in succession, A PERFECT DANCE (5) drew this same gate last week when exposed early before finding a fence position and holding on for the bronze behind HELL OF A HAND. Only a neck away the start prior behind BETTORS MOON, this is within reach.

 BETTORS MOON (6)
has been super consistent, and last start was game in defeat when holding on for the silver behind RIBEIRO after doing all the work in the run. Descending on them to score at Redcliffe two starts back, the gate stings, but she can get forward to throw down the challenge.

 JENSVILLE (7)
is given no favours from the car park alley following her last start victory from gate 1 when pressing to the front and seeing them off at the 2138. Wide gates stung at her previous two and despite the gate, she can feature.

 OUR MIKI DIVA (10)
has now had three starts since arriving in Qld and should take benefit of tackling a mare’s only contest following her past two against all comers. Working in the run last start at Redcliffe behind DENVER COLORADO, she is right in the fight here.

SELECTIONS: A PERFECT DANCE (5), BETTORS MOON (6), JENSVILLE (7), OUR MIKI DIVA (10)
 SUGGESTED BET:
A PERFECT DANCE (5) to win

RACE SEVEN

After second line barriers at his past two starts, MOSSDALE TERRY (1) should appreciate the options that are available from the ace. Down the line last week with nothing chasing making an impact, the start prior he grabbed the bronze behind ALBY TWO CHAINS. This is within reach.

 ELLIS STREET (3)
was stung by a wide gate last week and taken back early, was then never able to work into the battle as CAPTAIN HAMMERHEAD dictated from the front. Taking them all the way here two starts back at this trip, the improved gate in this grade can see him issue a challenge.

 CHECKNOUTTHETALENT (5)
has been kept fresh since a last start 4th when under 4m from the winner TREMENDOUS SENSATION. Under 3m from BIRKIRKARA three back, he is in the mix.

 DARIN (6)
was exposed in the early stages last start in the Blacks A Fake consolation before securing running line cover. Unable to get into the contest, a return to the sprint trip is in his favour.

SELECTIONS: MOSSDALE TERRY (1), ELLIS STREET (3), CHECKNOUTTHETALENT (5), DARIN (6)
 SUGGESTED BET:
MOSSDALE TERRY (1) to win

RACE EIGHT

Sent out as the fav in the Final of the DJA after impressive wins in both heat rounds, GOLDEN SUNSET (4) was unable to sweep the series. Scratchy off the mark to settle at the rear, she was unable to get into the contest. With the benefit of the small field, she will be closer to the action and with her closing speed can look to descend on them in the stretch.

 TAYLAD TO USE (1)
was first up from a spell into the DJA and after never finding space in the first round, was narrowly beaten in round 2. Stepping cleanly and setting the tempo, he was able to dictate from the front end to claim the final. Not suited from the mobile last week, back to the tapes and importantly off the front, can see him throw down the challenge.

 BERRIESANDCHERRIES (2)
attacked the line in nice fashion in the DJA Final to grab the bronze behind TAYLAD TO USE. Not suited last week when the power was on late with GET USED TO IT dictating from the front, she can pop straight in behind the speed to offer some closing power.

SELECTIONS:
GOLDEN SUNSET (4), TAYLAD TO USE (1), BERRIESANDCHERRIES (2)
 SUGGESTED BET:
GOLDEN SUNSET (4) to win

RACE NINE

Looking for space down the back stretch last start, FERNCO NEL (6) was forced to slice between runners before checking off in the stretch. Despite the obstacles, he was able to stretch his AP record to eight wins from 11 starts with a half-head margin. This looks like a cleaner passage, and this progressive type can add another W.

 UDDERLY SWEET (2)
was repelled off the gate here last week and was forced to face the breeze and do the heavy lifting. Fading in the closing stages after the tough trip it followed a similarly torrid run from gate 7 at the mile as CHEERSTOLOU carved out a 48.9 mile from the front. He looks better suited under the conditions on offer here.

 RAKASANDY (4)
fought on nicely in the closing stages last start to grab the bronze behind RUBY RULES in slick time at the mile. Placed in three of his four appearances since winning midweek at the mile, he is a podium hope.

SELECTIONS: FERNCO NEL (6), UDDERLY SWEET (2), RAKASANDY (4)
 SUGGESTED BET:
