Form Analysis: Marburg December 14

RACE 1 

THE RIZZLER (9) has moderate WA form and comes into this first up for the stable of Ron Sallis. He should find this maiden easier than the races he’s been contesting in WA and despite the draw looks one of the hardest to beat.

WHATA GOOD FEELING (4) appears to find a moderate enough race on debut having run quite impressively in recent trials. She was able to run second to Its a Sponge Darl in her latest trial which looks good enough form for a race like this.

LANEYS LAST (1) has just moderate gate speed and may not be able to do enough early to hold the lead. She ran fairly last start when not having the best of luck being forced to make a wide run into the race. Should be improved from an improved gate.

STAY DREAMY (2) ran well last start for a race of this nature not beaten far at Albion Park. She had trialled reasonably leading into her first up outing when running third to Miss Bluetrump.

RACE 2 

DOC HARVEY (3) has good gate speed and might be able to press forward and lead in the early stages. He runs his best races out in front has been in moderate form prior to leading and winning a number of times.

MY ULTIMATE RUDI (4) ran well three starts ago when running on strongly into second. He isn’t a horse with brilliant gate speed and may find this a tricky draw in this race which could se ehim working or shuffled back early.

SIGNOR JUJON (6) ran well last start at this track when starting from a poor draw and running on late into fourth. He will need luck inside the back row but if that luck comes he should be running into the finish.

ROYAL WINKLE (8) has been badly out of form in recent starts. He worked over the gate last start and faded out of it into fifth. He may be better suited in this race when sat up and saved for one run at them.

RACE 3

GRACENAVA (4) has been racing in good form and is closing in on another victory. She was very good last start when getting back to last and running into a number of dead ends through the run. She may elect to press forward this time and should be hard to hold out.

MOLLIDOR (1) has good gate speed and should be able to hold a forward position from the good draw. She ran a solid enough second last start after sitting close up on a genuine early tempo set by My Ultimate Heston.

MATAI REACTOR (7) has poor recent numerical form but hasn’t been racing poorly and is just a horse that needs a few things to go his way in the run. He is likely to get back and be running on late.

GHOST TRAIN (8) appeared to have his chance two starts ago when leading and being run down by Sport Azz. He appears to find a race with less depth and can run well if its run to suit.

SUGGESTED BET: GRACENAVA (4) to win.

RACE 4 

VERMONT (1) has decent gate speed without being brilliant away but seemingly finds a race without any brilliant beginners and may be able to drive through and lead this race. She was left to do the work last start at Redcliffe which doesn’t generally suit her.

IDEAL TIGER (3) has been racing well in recent outings having run good placings in his last two starts. He should be able to work across early in this race and secure a good run. He is well graded and looks close to another win.

CAPTAIN OH CAPTAIN (6) should get a good run through at the start on the back of Vermont who is likely to be keen to hold a forward position. He was able to score two starts ago and a similar effort should see him competitive again.

HANOVER HECTOR (5) has seemingly been better suited at this stage in her career when sat up and saved for one run at them late which would see her shuffled a long way back early and needing a few things to go her way to figure.

RACE 5

SKYLAR BREE (2) took on a stronger race last start which was taken out by Dancin With Lush. She was able to lead and ran well there finishing third a similar effort should see her hard to run down.

ESTER JEAN (5) comes into this race first up from a spell which looks a query. She did a few things wrong last time in but showed good ability at her best. If she is ready to go first up and brings her best manners she should be hard to hold out.

WECANONLYDREAM (9) ran a solid fourth in what appeared a much stronger race last start. Should get a god run off the speed in this race and can be running on late. 

STONES (6) should be better for the first up run last start and with luck from a tricky draw he could figure in the minor money.

RACE 6 

ROLLONX (1) should be able to hold the lead in the early stages of this race. He has raced without luck in recent outings. He impressed last start when running on strongly to just miss and was very unlucky his start prior when badly held up at a crucial stage.

CAPTAIN FOXTROT (5) was well supported last start at this track and was only able to manage fourth. He drew poorly there and draws poorly again in this race but has now had a number of runs back from a spell and should be nearing peak fitness.

MAN OF ACTION (3) has good early speed and may look to get forward in this race. He won three starts ago when leading a similar race and should be thereabouts again.

ULTIMATE HUNTER (6) should get a good run through on the back of Rollonx. He has done things wrong previously and will need to be on his best behaviour from what could be a slightly tricky draw.

RACE 7

LITTLEMICKEY (7) should get a good run off the speed in this race and can be running into it late. He has been out of form in recent starts and found it too tough last time out when facing the breeze. He is seemingly best suited when sat up and saved for one run and should be an improver if he can secure that trip.

HIGHVIEW SADLER (9) is capable of doing work in his races and may need to at some stage in this race from the poor draw. He was able to score two starts ago at Redcliffe over the 2040 when running on over the top late.

VICTREE BUSTA (1) has gate speed and may be able to lead this race. He comes into this race fourth up from a spell and should be nearing peak fitness. He should give them something to catch if he’s able to lead and control things out in front.

SAINT LOUIS BEAT (5) should get a good run off the speed in this race and he is racing a lot better than his numerical form would suggest.

SUGGESTED BET: LITTLEMICKEY (7) to win.

RACE 8

ROCKNROLL TIMES (2) has good early speed and might be able to roll to the lead in the early stages of this race. He is a good front runner and if he is able to find the front he would become the horse to beat.

MERGE RIGHT (1) was set a tough task when first up from a spell last start obtaining a trail early before coming off and sitting in the breeze and fading late into sixth. She looks well placed in this company. 

CULLECTINGCARDLES (3) scored an impressive win last start when getting back and running on over the top late. She may be best suited when driven quietly early and saved for one run late. A similar effort should see her in the finish again.

GLENLEDI BOY (8) was making up good ground late last start when getting back in the run. He may get back again in this race and if the speed is on he should be running on late.

RACE 9

BARRETT (4) appears the class horse in this race dropping back a touch in company. He draws awkwardly and may be forced to do work at some stage which doesn’t ideally suit the horse. He will need luck but he is well graded. 

ROCKTIME (1) has good gate speed and should be able to lead this race in the early stages. He has led and won previously at this track. He hasn’t had many favours in recent runs and should find this much more suitable.

DANCIN WITH LUSH (6) should get a good run through on the back of Rocktime. She was a good winner of an easier race last start when closing best to run down Vikander. She should get every chance.

SPLASHNDASH (9) draws outside the back row and doesn’t have the best numerical form but he is seemingly racing better than that and if the run is run upside down he can be running into it late.
