Form Analysis: Marburg December 7

RACE 1 

MULLUM JUDITH (2) has good early speed and should be able to work to the lead in the early stages. She ran well last start after starting outside the back row and finishing fourth behind Laceys Lass. She appears to be a clear standout in this race and should be very hard to run down.

JOVIAL JODI (3) trialled up reasonably ahead of a race track debut when finishing second to Miss Bluetrump. She showed good gate speed in that trial but may find it tricky drawn outside of Mullum Judith in this race and could be left to do the work.

ALONG THE WAY (9) trialled up fairly ahead of her debut when well beaten by Miss Bluetrump. She appeared to hit the line reasonably late and is likely to have benefited from that outing.

BETTY WINKLE (1) should get a good run behind the speed from an ideal draw. She was able to run a good third behind Veesign at Redcliffe and a similar effort should see her in the money again.

RACE 2 

VIKANDER (5) draws poorly in this race outside the front row and may be left to do the work. She appears to have a class edge on most of her rivals in this race and has been competitive at this track previously doing the work.

DANCIN WITH LUSH (6) should find this a lot easier than her recent outings dropping back into restricted win company. She was able to secure a good run last start and finished eighth behind Theresachance which looks good form for this race. 

SKYLAR BREE (2) should have the gate speed to hold a prominent position in this race from a favourable draw. 

LANEYS LAST (7) ran a few good races last time in while seemingly mixing her form. She is first up for nearly 6 months in this race which looks a significant query.

RACE 3

GRACENAVA (5) has been in the placings her last two and put in a good effort two back when running on strongly behind Dashndot at Redcliffe over the 2040. She has proven previously she is capable of doing work at this track in this type of company and should be thereabouts again.

ROYAL WINKLE (4) wasn’t suited last start when left in the breeze. He finds what appears to be an easier race and if he was able to lead he would take plenty of running down. 

TAKE COURAGE (9) has been in good form in recent starts running a very unlucky second three starts ago after being taken on for most the race. She then ran well again two starts ago running into it late. 

SIGNOR JUJON (8) returns in this race having not started since October. He should get a good run off the speed in this race and if he is ready to go he can be running on late.

RACE 4 

ILLUSORY FEAT (7) ran well last start behind Ajay Volstead in the Stellar Square at Albion Park finishing third. She raced without luck her start prior when battling away for sixth after facing the breeze. 

KIVICI (10) returns from a break in this race having trialled well at Albion Park behind Squimish. He is better handicapped in this race than he was in a lot of his racing last time in and with a safe getaway he should be hard to beat.

IGNITE (8) began well and obtained a good run last start before running second to Whirlwind Wilbur. He usually begins well from the stand start and shouldn’t be too far away in the run. 

MILLY AN EYRE (9) was a winner five starts ago when running on best to score. She looks suited in this field and has been good enough her past few starts.

RACE 5

BATMAN BART (4) has been racing in stronger company in his recent starts including finishing seventh behind Mullum Doc last time out. He generally does his best racing when able to find a position up on speed and should be hard to beat in this company.

ROCCO VARIETY (8) is a capable sit sprinter that draws to do no work early on the back row. He secured a good run last start and was able to run fourth behind Major Generaljujon. He should be running on late if the race is run to suit. 

GHOST TRAIN (9) led last start and appeared to have his chance when being run down by Sporty Azz late. He finds a race that doesn’t look any tougher but he draws poorly and will need to be good to overcome the draw. 

WILLROBY (1) has been out of form in recent starts. He secured a good run two starts ago at this track and was a well beaten sixth before finishing sixth again last start. He may be an improver from a good draw.

SUGGESTED BET: BATMAN BART (4) to win. 

RACE 6 

COPY WRITER (1) was able to lead and win last time she led and may look to adopt similar tactics in this race around a track where it is favourable to be out in front. She didn’t have much luck last time out in a stronger race over the 2040 taken out by Major Slip Up. 

MY ULTIMATE RUDI (3) was a runner up two starts ago when narrowly beaten by Keayang Tara after getting shuffled back on the pegs. He meets a similar type of race and should be too far away in the run.

IDEAL TIGER (7) put in a better effort last time out when running into third behind Hes Regal at Redcliffe over the 2040. This race looks a touch easier and he should get a good run off the speed and will be hard to hold out if the race is run to suit.

KEAYANG TARA (8) led and won two starts ago at Redcliffe. She should get a good run off the speed in this race and can be running into it late.

RACE 7

OUTER CHANGE (2) has reasonable early speed and may look to press forward in this race and look for the lead. She drew well two starts ago and was crossed by Rollonx who is a quick beginner. If she can hold her position this time she should be hard to beat.

ROLLONX (6) draws inside the back row this time after being luckless last start when dragged out of the race by a tiring runner before finishing off well into second once into the clear. He will need luck in this race from an awkward draw but is racing well enough to win if that luck comes. 

MAJOR GENERALJUJON (8) returned to form last start when working away from the inside and running on best to beat Rollonx. This looks a touch tougher given the back row draw and he will need the speed on to be running into it late. 

AQUA CRUISER (9) was able to win a similar type of race four starts ago at Redcliffe when sitting without cover. He was well beaten last start at this track but he was forced to do the work and they rated good time for the grade.

SUGGESTED BET: OUTER CHANGE (2) to win. 

RACE 8

MULLUM DOC (2) has very good gate speed and might be able to launch across in this race and give them something to catch. He returned to form two starts ago scoring a good win when coming from off the speed.

PLANET DOWNS (6) returns from a break in this race and draws awkwardly inside the back row. He ran poorly last start but given some time off and a soft trailing draw he could bounce back in this race. 

ART OF ROCK (8) is a capable sit sprinter and will be hoping for a genuine tempo to bring him into this race. He draws awkwardly on the back row but it is just a moderate field and he should be hard to hold out. 

BETTOR CHEER (5) has been out of form in recent starts and lands in a new stable for this race drawing widest. He appears to have the ability to figure in a race of this nature and is one to keep an eye on first up for the new stable.

RACE 9

ROCKNROLL TIMES (2) has very good gate speed and may be able to zip across and lead this race. He is generally a very good front runner and should be hard to beat if ready to go coming into this race fresh.

ONE LAST ROLL (6) has been racing well and was able to run into third last start behind the in form Rock Hammer. He looks likely to get a good run through on the back of Rolling Bonus.

ROLLING BONUS (1) led and dropped out to be well beaten last start and has since changed trainers. He has decent gate speed and may dictate in the early stages. He would need to have improved off his latest outing to be a winning hope.

B MAC C (3) got a long way back last start and was making up good ground behind Little Hoofannany. He is back in grade on some of his better efforts and should be able to run on again in this race.
