Form Analysis: Redcliffe December 11

RACE 1 

FIFTY EACH WAY (5) ran poorly last start when fading out of it late to run eighth. She is likely to find this race easier than her recent outings and if she can bounce back to some of her better form she should be very hard to beat.

BELMER BETTY (2) was luckless last start when shuffled out of the race by a tiring leader. She has good gate speed and can look to press forward at the start and find a prominent position. 

WEE BONNIE (3) ran on nicely last time out to get into the placings behind dominant winner My Ultimate Zander which looks good form for a race of this nature. She should find a prominent position in this running line and will be thereabouts again with the right run.

PRIORITY BETTING (1) showed slight improvement on recent form when running fifth last time out. He should secure a good run from a favourable draw in this race and coming into the race second up could be an improver.

RACE 2 

WICKED DE LIL (1) showed enough gate speed last start to suggest he might be able to drive through and lead this race. He wasn’t beaten far in what appears a strong maiden which was taken out by Girl Power. Should be hard to beat.

FLORAS FOLLY (3) started from a poor draw last time out and didn’t have the best of luck in that race. She appears to find a much more suitable maiden and has draw to be close enough in the run. 

BLUE CHIP DANCE (8) secured a good run last start and was a well beaten third behind Rocknreason. She was first up there since June and is likely to have derived benefit from that outing.

ALONG THE WAY (7) started outside the back row last time out at Marburg which is a tough initiation to racing. Has favoured much better in this race with a soft trailing draw and could be an improver having likely benefited from the experience last time out.

RACE 3

TOMMY BLIGH (3) hit the line well late three starts ago running third in fast time behind Captain Dan and Galvarino. He appears to be back in grade off some of his better efforts and can look to hold a prominent position in this race where he should be hard to beat. 

BEACH MAGIC (1) was impressive last start when getting back and appearing to have plenty to give when held up. He seems to do his best racing when held up and saved for one run at them late which he looks likely to get a good opportunity to do in this race given a favourable draw. 

EBONY BELLE (9) has seemingly become more versatile in recent times showing she can not only sit up on speed and lead in her races but she can also run on late. She is likely to be sat up and saved for one run at them again in this race and should be hard to hold out if the race is run to suit.

BETTING BARON (2) has gate speed and does his best work up on speed. He was able to lead last start and ran well when finishing second to Malibu Dream. He is likely to find this race a touch tougher and will need to control things if he is to lead.

RACE 4 

SO BOBS YOUR UNCLE (7) is seemingly the class runner in this field and has been racing reasonably but faces a tough draw in this race inside the back row behind a horse that generally tends to hand over. He ran third last start behind Perfect Feeling last time out over the 2040 at this track. 

TACKAS LAST DANCE (4) had a favourable run last start on the pegs which is a trip that ideally suits her and she was up to pick up strongly and run into second late. She should get a good run off the speed in this race and if the race is run to suit she will be hard to beat. 

ONE CHAIN ROAD (6) was an impressive winner four starts ago when leading all the way and rating good time. He looks suited in this race and could bounce back to form.

MARKSMAN (3) tends to mix his form. He put in a good run three starts ago when appearing to hit the line nicely in a quickly run race at Albion Park. If he can secure a good run he should be right in the finish.

SUGGESTED BET: TACKAS LAST DANCE (4) to win.

RACE 5

SANDERS (3) had very good gate speed in NSW and if he can show that speed for his new stable he should go close to zipping across and leading in this race. He was able to score last time out when securing a good run on the pegs and sprinting best to score. 

JOHN SNOW (2) isn’t a horse with brilliant gate speed which can often see him left working in his races. He draws ideally this time where he should secure a good run regardless of whether he leads or is left in the running line. He has been racing well and should be hard to hold out. 

PLANET DOWNS (8) ran a solid fourth last time out at Marburg after being shuffled back in the early stages of the race. He looks to be following one of the likely main fancies in the race in the early stages and should be running into it late. 

THE HARRIS HAWK (5) steps up slightly in grade for this race following a good last start win when he was able to run over the top. He will likely get back in the run and be relying on a genuine early tempo to bring him into the race.

SUGGESTED BET: SANDERS (3) to win.

RACE 6 

REDS STAR DEAL (2) has been in career best form in recent and ran another good race last start when finishing second in fast time at Albion Park. He may look to press forward in this race and has run well leading a number of times at this track.

MISS FROUFROU (1) was able to return to form recently at this track when taking a trail before sprinting best to score nicely. She will have options early from a good draw but given how well she ran with a trail in that recent effort she may take a trail and look to do similar again in this race. 

REASON TO SHINE (5) was first up from a spell last start when running eight after getting a long way back in a slowly run race. She lands in what looks a slightly more suitable race and could be running on again late. 

AQUA SANCTA (6) secured a good run last start in a favourable position on the pegs where he was able to run into an eye catching third. He will need the race run upside down from the wide gate and if it is he should be figuring somewhere in the finish.

SELECTIONS: REDS STAR DEAL (2), MISS FROUFROU (1), REASON TO SHINE (5), AQUA SANCTA (6)

SUGGESTED BET: REDS STAR DEAL (2) to win.

RACE 7

THERESACHANCE (1) showed good gate speed to lead last start before controlling the speed and proving far too good for his rivals. He meets a strong field in this race but is always hard to beat when able to lead on his terms and should be hard to beat again in this race. 

PRETTY LITTLE LIAR (7) should get a good run through on the back of the likely leader in Theresachance. She was seemingly a touch disappointing last start when tracking the winner into the race and failing to run on when finishing midfield. She may be better suited on the pegs. 

DENVER COLORADO (6) has been impressive in recent starts scoring back to back wins when landing in QLD in the stable of Donny Smith. His latest outing he was left without cover and battled away well to run third.

VINCENT TIME (3) draws favourably in this race and should be able to secure a run close enough to the speed. He got back and was running on late last start.
