Form Analysis: Redcliffe December 18

RACE 1 

STAY DREAMY (2) was forced to do the work outside the leader last start and battled on well to finish second. She is likely to have derived benefit from that outing and comes into this race third up where she looks like she might be able to lead. 

SERGENTMAJOR JUJON (9) secured a good run last start at Albion Park in a race taken out by Saint Maharg where he closed off nicely into third. He appears to be getting better each run and can be running on late in this race. 

THE RIZZLER (7) was first up in QLD last start having previously raced in WA and ran on well into third in a race that became a dash home. He may be shuffled back early drawn behind a runner that doesn’t generally show a lot of gate speed which could prove key to the race.

MY ULTIMATE LEO (1) hasn’t shown much gate speed previously which could see the usually favourable draw become a tricky one. He ran on strongly last start into third and if he can do enough to hold a forward position he should be in the finish again.

RACE 2 

SPECIALANDIKNOWIT (9) was well beaten last start at Albion Park in a race he secured a good run on the pegs. He finds what appears to be an easier race here and should be hard to hold out.

SIGNOR JUJON (3) has some gate speed and should be able to find a prominent position in this race. He hasn’t had much luck in recent outings at Marburg when drawing poorly his last two.

TAKE COURAGE (2) copped a lot of pressure last time she led and was able to battle on for a strong second there. She draws best of the main chances in this race and may be able to find the front again.

IDEAL TIGER (6) appeared to secure the right run last start and was under pressure a long way out at Marburg. He finds a slightly easier race but does draw poorly this time.

SUGGESTED BET: TAKE COURAGE (2) to win.

RACE 3

WICKED SUSAN (9) got shuffled back last start and ran on strongly in a much stronger race last start over the 2280 at this track in a race won by Mardibringstheparty. She will find this race a lot easier and she should be running on strongly. 

JUST PINNY (3) has gate speed and should be able to work to the lead in this race. He started outside the back row two starts ago and was running on well late into third before being forced to sit without cove last time out. He should be hard to run down.

SWIFTIE (4) found the front last start at Marburg and appeared to have her chance then when running third having set a moderate tempo. She draws awkwardly this time and will need luck to secure the right run.

BLING THE NOISE (7) draws awkwardly inside the back row in this race and will need luck at the right time to figure in the finish. He should find this easier than recent outings.

RACE 4 

LA SABINA (9) should find this easier than her lates outing when well beaten by Beau Steele at this track over the 2040. She will need the race run to suit and can be running on late. 

AUNTY FRANCES (4) has been racing well and draws to advantage over a number of her main rivals in this race. She got a long way back two starts ago and ran on strongly into second.

CAPTAIN OH CAPTAIN (5) was able to secure a solid run last start behind the speed on the pegs at Marburg. He may be shuffled back early in this race from a wide draw and will need the race run to suit.

UNIT FORTY ONE (8) doesn’t have good numerical form in recent outings. He should be more suited in this race and can bounce back.

SUGGESTED BET: LA SABINA (9) to win. 

RACE 5

HES MY REASON (2) appears to have good gate speed and should be able to find the front in the early stages of this race. He brings solid NSW form into this race and if he is able to lead he is likely the horse to beat. He comes into this race first up for Darren Elder. 

SO BOBS YOUR UNCLE (3) has been racing well recently having run two consecutive seconds his last two starts. He should be able to drive forward and find a prominent position in this race potentially in the 1-1 which should see him hard to hold out late. 

TOMMY BLIGH (5) was sent forward early last start and battled away for third. He may look to press forward again and could be left to do the work. 

MAN OF ACTION (9) ran a good second last start at Marburg when able to secure a good run 1-1 in a race taken out by Rollonx. He should be running on late.

RACE 6 

SANDERS (3) was able to press forward to lead last start before taking them all the way at this track. He may appreciate the step back to the 1780 in this race and if he can lead again he should be hard to run down.

LITTLEMICKEY (7) was able to score a good win at Marburg last start at Marburg after starting on the back row. He has a potentially tricky draw to navigate in this race and should be running on strongly if he can secure clear running.

VINNIE NITRO (1) was able to secure a good run on the leaders back two starts ago and ran second. She may look to secure a similar run in this race and may elect to sit on Sanders rather than Magicol Ideal who was beaten 75 meters last start.

AMILLIONCHANCES (6) has good ability and was able to score a dominant win five starts ago. His manners have let him down since his latest win and he draws poorly in this race.

RACE 7

FAVREAU (9) secured a good run last start and just wasn’t quite able to reel in Its Back Page News who sat in the breeze. He should secure a good run into this race and there appears likely to be some early tempo in the race. 

JAY TEE TYRON (8) has drawn favourably in this race and should get an economical run early. He secured a good run on the back of Our Ultimate Luka last start and just wasn’t quite able to reel in that horse when finishing third.

PLANET DOWNS (6) has run two consecutive fourth placings. He ran on strongly last start after sitting three back on the pegs. He may be shuffled a long way back in this race from a wide gate.

GENTLE GIANT (4) was running on strongly last start behind Royal Princess at Albion Park and ran on strongly into third. This looks easier and he should be hard to beat.

RACE 8

SARGEANT (3) trialled up smartly behind Harperville at Albion Park having not raced since October. He may look to press forward in this race and if he found the lead he would be hard to beat.

MIKIS JOE (6) scored a dominant win two back before not being suited by a moderate tempo last start. If he gets the race run to suit he can be running on late. 

ALWAYS LOCKSLEY (9) ran on strongly into third at Albion Park in fast time. He will need the race run to suit and he can be running into the finish again.

THERESACHANCE (1) has good gate speed and stepping up to the 2040 he will have options early. He led last start and was run down by Denver Colorado in fast time.
