Form Analysis: Redcliffe December 3

RACE 1 

PUNTERS JEWEL (3) showed very good gate speed last start to lead and was able to score a nice win there. He meets a similar field again in this race and looks likely to find the lead and should be hardest to best again.

ALLMIGHTY MAX (5) has been racing consistently in recent starts. He led two starts ago and was able to run third behind Miss Froufrou before running well again last start when getting into third.

ALWAYS LOCKSLEY (4) was a winner three starts ago when leading all the way at this track. He has since had less favours in the run and was able to finish midfield last start. He may be forced to do the work this time.

JACKS FYRE (1) appears to be outclassed in this race but has the good draw to offset the potential deficit in class. He was able to secure a similar run in a race behind Punters Jewel last start and was able to run fourth.

RACE 2 

ARKUNA (3) has had a few runs back from a spell now and should be nearing peak fitness. She seemingly does her best work up on speed which isn’t a position she has been able to find her last few. She may be able to work to the lead and would be hard to run down.

FAKISTRA (5) was running on strong last start in a better race at Albion Park behind Ultimate Ark. He may get back again from the wide draw in this race and should be finishing strongly if there’s any tempo on.

ASHLEE NITRO (2) might be able to work across to the pegs in the early stages of the race before taking cover. She was able to secure a good run two starts ago behind Punters Jewel and was able to run second. If she can secure the right run she should be hard to hold out. 

ROSIE POLLEN (9) is first up in the state having raced previously in NSW. She had one of the better trainers in the Riverina area and may be a query first up from a poor draw.

SUGGESTED BET: ARKUNA (3) to win.

RACE 3

OYSTER STRIDE (1) should have the speed to drive through and lead this race from the good draw. He appears well graded in this race and has been racing competitively in stronger company. Should be hard to run down.

FEELIN FLIRTY (3) has good early speed but may not quite be able to get across to the inside from an awkward draw. He was able to score a good win beating Ebony Belle when running on late and can look to do similar in this race.

THE REAL ROCKETMAN (5) appears well graded in this race and was able to run a good placing recently over the 2138 at Albion Park. He appears to have drawn quite awkwardly in this race towards the outside of the front row and may be forced to work at some stage.

TRACER BULLET (7) was able to make the most of a good draw recently at this track. He doesn’t look quite as well inside the back row but should get a good run through and be close enough in the run.

RACE 4 

FAVREAU (5) put in a very impressive run recently when finishing second to Daisy Diana who rated fast time when winning at Albion Park. He couldn’t quite back that effort up last start when securing an ideal run 1 out 1 back at Albion Park and not finishing the race off. Can bounce back.

FIFTY EACH WAY (2) has now had a few runs back from a spell and taken on strong company in a few of those runs. She took on a more suitable race last start and was making up some ground late. Draws more favourably this time. 

DIEGO DELGADO (3) scored a nice all the way win in fast time at this track recently before running well again leading. He may look to press forward and be hard to run down in this race. 

JET FORCE (8) trialled up nicely ahead of a race track return in this race. He is generally a horse that goes best when sat up and saved for one run at them and should be running on again if the race is run to suit.

RACE 5

MALIBU DREAM (3) has been racing in excellent form without having been able to break through for a win this year. She secured a good run last time out in the 1-1 and just wasn’t quite able to reel in Tracer Bullet. 

GET ME OUTTA HERE (6) was an all the way winner at Albion Park four starts ago rating good time. He has since run well in his 3 latest runs and will likely get back and hope there is a genuine tempo early in the race. 

PERFECT FEELING (5) has been racing well without having figured in the placings his last 3 runs. He may appreciate the step back to the 1780 in this race and can be running into it late.

CHARMAWAY (7) appears likely to get a good run through at the start on the back of a horse that’s likely to be keen to hold a forward position in Betting Baron. This appears easier and she should be running on late.

RACE 6 

GOTTA DREAM (8) was an impressive winner five starts ago when doing a lot of work at Albion Park and just proving too good. He appears to draw quite well in this race and can be put into the race at some stage of the tempo permits. He looks hardest to beat.

JILLIBY TSUNAMI (2) has early speed and might be able to find the front in this race. She led two starts ago and out in a disappointing run when well beaten but they did run along solid sectionals in that race. With a more economical run this time she should be thereabouts.

ROSARITO (9) isn’t favoured by an outside back row draw but does appear to be well graded in this race and often can finish off well when able to secure a good run off the speed. He should be following one of the fancies in Gotta Dream and should be hard to hold out. 

CAPTAIN OH CAPTAIN (6) looks likely to get a good run off the speed after a good win last start in a slightly easier race. He will be hoping for a genuine early tempo to bring him into the race.

RACE 7

MY ULTIMATE ZANDER (5) has a big class edge on his rivals in this race and is likely to go around a short priced favourite. He wasn’t beaten far two back when running third behind Kiki Meister in fast time before running well again last start from a poor draw. 

SERGENTMAJOR JUJON (6) made a mistake last start after already being out of the draw at request of connections. He appears to be a horse still trying to learn how to race and may need further experience. He had showed ability at trials and in a moderate race if he brings his manners he can figure. 

BELMER BETTY (1) has good gate speed and should be able to hold a prominent position before potentially taking a trail on the likely short priced favourite My Ultimate Zander. She ran a much better race last time out when running on nicely into second.

CHEEKY BABY (7) should get a good run through in the early stages on the back of a horse with early speed. She can be running into the money again.

SUGGESTED BET: BELMER BETTY (1) to place.

RACE 8

QILIN (3) has run two good second placings his last two starts. He was shuffled back last start and was running on strongly to nab second behind I Am Caesar. He should get a good run close enough to the speed from a low draw and will be hard to hold out.

WICKED MACK (4) was running on nicely behind Mighty Ideal last start after starting from a poor and getting little luck in the run. He has good early speed and should be able to find a prominent position in this race. 

TENGERRI (2) is a 45 start maiden and hasn’t been in the placings his last few outings. He was fair three starts ago when running a close up fourth and a similar effort may see him finish in a similar position.

WILDSTAR DIVA (9) had to deal with a flat tyre last start when well beaten at this track and trip. Ran a promising race two back when finishing 8.3 metres from the winner.
