RACE 1

SHEEZANIDEALTORQUE (2) was making up strong ground late last start behind Excuse To Collect at this track. She ran a number of good races last campaign including a third behind Yankee C J in good time over the 2138 at Albion Park. She looks hardest to beat in this race.

SWIFTIE (6) led all the way last start at this track having built towards that win her starts leading into that race. She is more of a sit sprinter which makes the draw quite awkward widest on the front row in a small field.

MAYWYNS ACE (3) returns from a spell in this race and draws reasonably. He qualified from the stand start recently in a trial taken out by the smart Fact Finder. He looks one of the hopes in this race.

EBONY BELLE (1) has very good gate speed which gives her options from the inside draw. She hasn’t quite been at her best in recent outings and will need to bounce back to some of her better form to figure.

SELECTIONS: SHEEZANIDEALTORQUE (2), SWIFTIE (6), MAYWYNS ACE (3), EBONY BELLE (1)

SUGGESTED BET:  SHEEZANIDEALTORQUE (2) to win.

RACE 2

WANDARY DELIGHT (5) has gate speed and draws outside of a number of horses which are likely to be keen to take a trail. She raced without luck last start when breaking gear and in what was a much stronger race she battled away well enough for a midfield finish. If she can find the top she is likely to be hard to beat.

DIAMOND DEANO (6) doesn’t have many strings to his bow and is usually uncompetitive when racing off the pegs. He does find a very weak race and may be able to run into the finish should it be run to suit.

TAURUS BROMAC (8) didn’t do much last start in the run to the finish after securing a good run behind the speed in that race. He was first up from a spell there and it did appear a much stronger race. He looks well drawn and should be hard to beat.

SKYLAR BREE (7) draws awkwardly inside the back row in this race. She was a winner four starts ago when leading all the way at Marburg in a race that was no tougher than this one.

SELECTIONS: WANDARY DELIGHT (5), DIAMOND DEANO (6), TAURUS BROMAC (8), SKYLAR BREE (7)

SUGGESTED BET: TAURUS BROMAC (8) to win.

RACE 3

OUR UNCLE LES (2) has gate speed and may be able to lead in this race which would see him with a great opportunity to correct his numerical form. Last time he led over the shorter course at Albion Park he was able to lead all the way and score over Heavenly Wisdom. He should be hard to beat.

CAPTAIN OH CAPTAIN (9) has been racing in good form having not missed a placing his last five starts. He seems to be best suited when sat up and saved for one run which he looks to get the opportunity to do in this race.

WELL SAID NUGGET (7) has run poorly in his last two outings when a well-supported favourite. He seemingly just struggles when racing off the pegs and doing work in his races and looks to be much better suited the way this race is likely to unfold.

LAST CALL (3) comes into this race third up from a spell and is a long way back in grade off some of her better efforts. She raced up on the speed last start and is usually better driven more quietly early.

SELECTIONS: OUR UNCLE LES (2), CAPTAIN OH CAPTAIN (9), WELL SAID NUGGET (7), LAST CALL (3)

SUGGESTED BET: WELL SAID NUGGET (7) each way.

RACE 4

KING BLING (5) returns from a spell in this race having had his most recent start in August when contesting the consolation of the Qbred Triad series for the 2YO Colts and Geldings. He ran a good sixth in an effort that would likely see him hard to beat in a race of this nature. He caught the eye in a recent trial at this track and despite the wide draw looks hard to beat.

THE RIZZLER (8) has been racing in good form scoring a nice win two back before running a very good race last start despite being left in the breeze at Albion Park. He is versatile in this type of grade and should be hard to beat.

MIGHTY IDEAL (4) ran a solid third last start when securing a trail close to the speed in a race taken out by Wicked De Lil. He should secure a good run off the speed in this race and can be running on late.

LETS TORQUEABOUTIT (6) was first up from a long spell two starts ago when running a good second to Miarka. She then ran well again last start despite racing without a lot of luck. Should be fitter and looks to have each way claims.

SELECTIONS: KING BLING (5), THE RIZZLER (8), MIGHTY IDEAL (4), LETS TORQUEABOUTIT (6)

SUGGESTED BET: THE RIZZLER (8) to win.

RACE 5

PRECOCIOUS KATE (3) has very good gate speed and should be able to work across to the lead. She has run well in front in the past and is seemingly best suited over the shorter journey.

SPLASHNDASH (9) has been in much better form than his numerical form would suggest. He’s been completely luckless his past two outings when caught wide early before being forced to the rear of the field and still finishing it off well. He should be running on again.

ROCK IT BABY (5) has been in excellent form. He ran another very good placing last time out when caught wide on the track a long way out over the 2040 at this track and just couldn’t quite run down Gentle Giant. He would be suited by a genuine early tempo and can be running on again.

SMIRKS LIKA BOSS (1) hasn’t been able to find much consistency since landing back in QLD. He looks ideally suited drawn where he is in this race and is a capable sit sprinter that should be thereabouts the minor money.

SELECTIONS: PRECOCIOUS KATE (3), SPLASHNDASH (9), ROCK IT BABY (5), SMIRKS LIKA BOSS (1)

SUGGESTED BET: PRECOCIOUS KATE (3) to win.

RACE 6

LITTLEMICKEY (2) won impressively last start when getting a good run close to the speed and finishing best to score. He has shown he is capable of running well when leading and he may get that opportunity in this race from a good draw.

PRETTY LITTLE LIAR (5) took on what may have been a slightly stronger race last time out which was won by Out Of Eden. She has since had a few weeks off and returns in this race. She will need the race run to suit.

MISS SYRAH (8) secured a good run on the fence last time out and when presented into the clear she hit the line powerfully late. She should get a good run off the speed in this race and can be running into it late.

JET FORCE (6) ran on strongly last start when well suited by a genuine tempo throughout the race in a race taken out by Glenledi Boy. He is likely to get a long way back this time and will need a genuine tempo again to bring him into the race.

SELECTIONS: LITTLEMICKEY (2), PRETTY LITTLE LIAR (5), MISS SYRAH (8), JET FORCE (6)

SUGGESTED BET: LITTLEMICKEY (2) to win.

RACE 7

ROCKNROLL TIMES (1) has excellent gate speed and will be able to lead easily before having options from there. He has always seemingly raced well fresh and has led all the way at this track and trip. If he is ready to go off a break he should be hard to beat.

ZAC DANIELS (7) ran well last start when battling away for a second placing in a race taken out by Smarter Than You after being taken on through the middle. He looks likely to get a good run through on the back of a gate speed horse in this race and can be dangerous late.

MIKIS JOE (8) has been racing consistently. He started favourite last start and was well beaten when sitting without cover at this track and trip. If he can bring his best he should be able to bounce back in this race.

BONNIES CAM (9) ran on well last start into fourth in what was a much better effort. He should get a good run off the speed again in this race and should be running into it late.

SELECTIONS: ROCKNROLL TIMES (1), ZAC DANIELS (7), MIKIS JOE (8), BONNIES CAM (9)

SUGGESTED BET: BONNIES CAM (9) each way.

RACE 8

SAN SABA (3) has good gate speed and showed that to lead last start before fading out of it late. She was seemingly a touch disappointing there when appearing to have her chance to finish a bit closer. They did rate good time for the grade and she looks the likely leader again in this race.

TIGER TOMMY (6) is a very capable sit sprint mare that is rarely far away in her races. She is likely to be shuffled a long way back from the wide draw and if the race is run to suit she should be running into it strongly again.

VINCENT TIME (5) is a very consistent horse that is rarely too far from the winner. He does his best work when able to lead which he hasn’t been able to in some time. He ran well last start behind Glenledi Boy and should find this a touch easier.

ASHLEE NITRO (1) the queen of Redcliffe gets her favourite draw in this race where she has won so many of her races from on the pegs. She was well beaten in her latest outing but it was over the 2040 and in a stronger field.

SELECTIONS: SAN SABA (3), TIGER TOMMY (6), VINCENT TIME (5), ASHLEE NITRO (1)

SUGGESTED BET: TIGER TOMMY (6) to win.
