Rockhampton Greyhound Club Update

Racing Queensland advises that the Rockhampton greyhound track has been inspected following recent rainfall and has been deemed suitable for racing tomorrow night (Wednesday, 14 January). Racing will continue as scheduled unless otherwise advised.

The Bureau of Meteorology have issued a major flood warning for the Fitzroy River from as early as overnight next Monday and into Tuesday which could impact the Rockhampton Greyhound Racing Club.

Further advice will be forthcoming about Rockhampton race meetings from Wednesday 21 January.

RQ advise that if the race meeting scheduled for Wednesday 21 January does not proceed, the Open 510m on Wednesday 14 January, originally programmed as the Heats for the Central Queensland Country Cup, will be used as the Qualifier for the Country Cup Final at Q2 Parklands on Thursday 5 February.
