Rockhampton Greyhound Racing Club meeting cancelled

Racing Queensland advises that the Rockhampton Greyhound Racing Club meeting for Wednesday, January 21 has been cancelled due to Fitzroy River flooding.

The Bureau of Meteorology predicts the Fitzroy River to peak on Wednesday morning. Following the peak, RQ will provide an update on the Rockhampton race meeting scheduled on Sunday, January 25. The nominations for Rockhampton Sunday will now close on Friday, January 23 at 9am.

RQ also provides the following update on Rockhampton feature events:

• The Maiden 1000 Final scheduled for Wednesday, January 21 has been postponed. Further updates will be provided following the Fitzroy River peak.
• The Open 510m that was run on Wednesday, January 14 will be the Central Queensland Country Cup Qualifier. Prize money has been adjusted accordingly.
