Cairns Jockey Club meeting and barrier trials transferred

Racing Queensland advises that the race meeting and barrier trials scheduled for the Cairns Jockey Club on Monday, February 9 have been postponed to Monday, February 16.
Due to the current track condition, predicted weather, track recovery time and unavailability of suitable coverage, it was not possible to add a race meeting or barrier trials to this week.
The same race meeting program (with the addition of a Maiden Plate 1250 metres) will be run on Monday, February 16 with fresh nominations closing Tuesday, February 10 at 11am.
Fresh nominations for the barrier trials will close at 10am on Thursday, February 12.
