Form Analysis: Albion Park February 13

13 February 2026

RACE ONE

FULL OF CHARM (5) was left exposed before pressing on to take control at the Redcliffe sprint last time out. Trying to hold them off when finishing runner-up to SON OF XENA, the mare should strip fitter from the outing where she was fresh up with seven weeks between runs.

 STAY DREAMY (6)
was building towards success after successive second place returns. Finding the gate and conditions to dictate last start, the closing half was solid in a maiden breaking win. The gate makes it tough, but she looks progressive enough to challenge in this line up.

 MULLUM JUDITH (9)
profiles the same way most of this field do, with much of the form references at Redcliffe. Grabbing the bronze last start when first up for the new barn, she can feature again.

 TEQUILA EN ICE (8)
was faced with the outside front line gate last time out at Redcliffe when eased and then never getting warm in the latter stages. A fence trip will assist his claims here.

SELECTIONS: FULL OF CHARM (5), STAY DREAMY (6), MULLUM JUDITH (9), TEQUILA EN ICE (8)
SUGGESTED BET: FULL OF CHARM (5) to win

RACE TWO

Forced to grind it out when parked from the 20m tape last time out, ILLUSORY FEAT (6) was trying to lift in the stretch when finishing with the bronze, 8m from the winner DOLLYS DUKE. Finishing best to score under mobile conditions two starts back, this looks within reach.

 IGNITE (8)
finally found the right set up here last time out, pressing on from the 20m tape, working to the front and then fighting off the challengers to claim victory. Placed in both prior attempts, the winning confidence and similar conditions assist his claims of a repeat.

 LOOK FOR TASCOTT (11)
Placed in both heat rounds of the McNeil Series where he had the front line. Making an error in the final, the opposition is easier, but the 20m makes it a harder assignment.

 MOONSHINE PENNY (7)
has been runner-up in two of her four since arriving in Qld, the latest when making a late play along the passing lane and finishing 4m astern. She has claims.

SELECTIONS:
ILLUSORY FEAT (6), IGNITE (8), LOOK FOR TASCOTT (11), MOONSHINE PENNY (7)
 SUGGESTED BET:
ILLUSORY FEAT (6) to win

RACE THREE

A win is not far away for BEACH MAGIC (9) which has been runner-up at his past two starts, the latest when sent forward and asked to do the heavy lifting at 2138. In for the fight and only a head from the winner, the right early trail here should assist his claims of putting them away.

 MAJOR LINCOLN (10)
produced a gritty effort to score at Redcliffe four starts back, taking a 2m margin. Unplaced in all three since, they have all been from second line gates. Although he finds the second line again here, the right trail and trip can see him issue a challenge in this.

 SAINT LOUIS BEAT (5)
was only 2m from the winner last time out despite missing the money and could have been closer with just a little more on his side. Back to the mile should suit.

 ROCKNROLL DA GAMA (3)
was 7m from the winner in a similar race here three starts back when faced with this same gate. Unplaced in both subsequent appearances, he can chime in.

SELECTIONS: BEACH MAGIC (9), MAJOR LINCOLN (10), SAINT LOUIS BEAT (5), ROCKNROLL DA GAMA (3)
 SUGGESTED BET:
BEACH MAGIC (9) to win

RACE FOUR

Forced to work hard when sent to face the breeze at 2138 last start, IDEAL DESIRE (3) faded in the closing stages to miss the money. Looking to dictate at the mile the start prior, she led until deep stretch, holding on for the bronze when 2m from the winner. She can look to dictate here.

 MERRY JEWEL (6)
has missed the board just once from six appearances this season, and despite a wide gate, will be right in the thick of proceedings here. Working forward from outside the second line last start and finishing within 2m of the winner, she can do the work again here.

 LITTLE HOOFANANNY (7)
placed in successive Redcliffe outings before finishing an unplaced fav last start after being forced to sit parked. The gate does her no favours again here.

 MY ULTIMATE VICTOR (10)
has placed in his past two, the latest a tough performance from the breeze and finishing 1m from a dictating B MAC C. With the right cart into this he has podium claims.

SELECTIONS: IDEAL DESIRE (3), MERRY JEWEL (6), LITTLE HOOFANANNY (7), MY ULTIMATE VICTOR (10)
 SUGGESTED BET:
IDEAL DESIRE (3) to win

RACE FIVE

Placed in three of her past five starts here on this deck, LA BOMBA (3) can make the most of an improved gate to chase the W. Placed at her past two from the second line and then last time out from gate 7, she has enough early speed to find a position and then put them away late.

 ABSOLUTELY STOKED (10)
burrowed through from gate 1 on The Triangle last start and trying to fend them off had to settle for the silver behind CHAMONIX. A dictating winner at Marburg the start prior, the gate makes this a tougher assignment, but she can make a closing challenge.

 MARTIN MAGIC (8)
is a newcomer to Qld that joins the in-form Elkins stable and arrives a 12-time winner. Needing some luck from this gate, he stays under notice first up.

 TOMMY BLIGH (2)
has early hustle and from this gate can fire the early bullets to be first across. Unplaced at his past two, if he lights the lamps and avoids pressure, he is a podium threat.

SELECTIONS: LA BOMBA (3), ABSOLUTELY STOKED (10), MARTIN MAGIC (8), TOMMY BLIGH (2)
 SUGGESTED BET:
LA BOMBA (3) to win

RACE SIX

Resuming from a spell, SON OF THE SHARK (8) has found a suitable assignment to chase a first up victory. A sizzling winner three starts back from the front, he has been close up at both subsequent outings in tougher company. Following a good beginner, he can strike fresh.

 LA SABINA (1)
was strong to the line here three starts back after retreating from gate 7 and chiming in for the silver behind THE HARRIS HAWK. Forcing the issue from gate 6 and taking them all the way at her next outing, she lands the gate and will be gripping on in the stretch.

 MUCH BETTOR (4)
found the 1x1 trail from the second line last time out and issuing a closing raid was just a half-neck from the winner. Dictating from the front here three starts back, he has claims.

 B MAC C (9)
ended a drought here last week when making the most of conditions, taking control and fending them off to score. With the chance to drop to the fence for a soft trip, he can chime in.

SELECTIONS: SON OF THE SHARK (8), LA SABINA (1), MUCH BETTOR (4), B MAC C (9)
 SUGGESTED BET:
Exotics 1-4-8-9

RACE SEVEN

ROCKSNGEMS (10) receives no favours from this gate but should find this a little easier than his past two attempts. 3rd behind the in-form PLATINUM JEWEL two starts back when just 4m away, he tried to dictate at 2138 last start when fading late as ROCK SUPREME cashed in. He can defy the map.

COPPERFIELD (1) will appreciate the fence gate and maps for the perfect trip in behind the speed. Midfield last start at Redcliffe behind REAL TIN TIN, he is better suited here on the big deck where three starts back he was a luckless 5m margin from HOLD ONTO YA BLING.

BAIL DENIED (4) put the writing was on the wall prior to Christmas and he delivered with a Redcliffe win two starts back. Down the line from a wide gate time, he has been freshened and is a podium threat.

 BUDDY PERFECT (9)
worked in the run last time out and fought hard for the silver when 5m from LLANFAIR LLEWELLAN. A Tamworth winner three starts back, he is podium player again here.

SELECTIONS:
ROCKSNGEMS (10), COPPERFIELD (1), BAIL DENIED (4), BUDDY PERFECT (9)
 SUGGESTED BET:
ROCKSNGEMS (10) to win

RACE EIGHT

Taking benefit from his last start when resuming from a spell, CHEZZ DALE (4) finds the right conditions to bounce back into winning form. Eased from a wide gate first up, he was strong to the line in the closing stages 3m from the winner ROCK SUPREME. Pressing forward, he can capitalise here.

 CANADIAN LASS (1)
steps out back in Qld for the first time since the Golden Guitar Carnival in Tamworth where she took them all the way in a heat. Making an error in the final, she has the early hustle to dictate her position here and with the options can look to issue a challenge.

 BELLISSIMO ACQUISTO (8)
is first up for the new barn off the back of a tidy trial hit out. Not seen since October, he will need a slice of luck at some stage from this gate to join in.

 KASH TIN (2)
eased from outside the front line here two starts back and finding the fence was under 2m from the winner. Unable to get into the contest last start, he can be close enough to feature.

SELECTIONS:
CHEZZ DALE (4), CANADIAN LASS (1), BELLISSIMO ACQUISTO (8), KASH TIN (2)
 SUGGESTED BET:
CHEZZ DALE (4) to win
