Form Analysis: Albion Park February 3

RACE ONE

Just the front line of runners with only one horse offering a victory beyond the sprint trip. HAVTIMETODREAM (7) has only ventured beyond the sprint once, that coming back in NZ at her 3^rd start. A winner at both appearances since arriving in Qld, the last start victory was impressive with 20m to spare, and she looks hard to stop.

 TACTICAL ILLUSION (1) will benefit from her return to the track when trying to see them off from the front at Redcliffe. Fading in the closing stages as HES MY REASON pulled away to score. Meeting some stronger types prior to spelling, the gate advantage is a big asset here.

 THE RIZZLER (6) brings a pair of wins in his past three starts to the considerations here, both coming on The Triangle at Redcliffe. A gritty effort last time out, that victory was over the 2040 which will assist his claims of looking to challenge at the middle trip.

 OUR ULTIMATE MILLY (5) was midfield over his trip two starts back after setting the early tempo as MOONSHINER took the prize. Scoring last start at Redcliffe, she can join in here.

RACE TWO
 
 Runner-up at his past three in succession, the set-up is perfect for SEND IT (6) to secure the breakthrough. Beaten just a neck and a half-head at his past two starts when stating fav at each outing. With great manners from the tapes, this looks like his chance to capitalise. 
 
 AMAMI (5) is on the back-up from Saturday night where he settled at the rear before making good metres in the closing stages chasing home SO SIRIUS. Luckless when searching for space behind MULLUM HANK two back, the small field suits his pattern to issue a challenge.

 ARKIN WICKED (1) could not go on with it last start after racing in the trail as QUADDIE VC scored. Holding on for the bronze after rolling forward two starts back, he looks a place lock.

RACE THREE

A big field made trickier by the 3YO off the front tape that moves all other runners back 20m. That equates to a 10m lift for FLASH KYVALLEY (7) which was buried in the run last time. Midfield after being asked to work two starts back, his 3m 3^rd behind WHIRLWIND WILBUR three back is the type of effort that could see him bob up here.

 GRACIAS (12) has the 50m tape to negotiate as he resumes from another stewards enforced embargo. Sent back to the trials following a gait break, he has earned the return and if he is able to bring the manners and trot cleanly, this is a race that is within reach.

 IGNITE (2) has placed at his past two starts, sitting in the trail on both occasions after stepping to the front and then taking cover. With good early manners, he can be thereabouts once again.

 VOLTAIN (5) was sent to the post as fav last week off the front tape when sent forward to sit parked and finishing 10m from the winner. Runner-up behind NATTY PAGGER two back, she has claims.

RACE FOUR

Several of this field will find the 2138 a tough ask, but one that should relish the trip is ROYAL PRINCESS (10). A winner at the mile four starts back, she has hit the board in all three subsequent appearances, the latest when a half-neck away over this trip. 

 MAGICOL IDEAL (2) has some good speed off the arm which should see him find a prominent position for this battle. Releasing the speed last start at the mile, he fought gamely to hold on for the bronze. A flat tyre didn’t help two starts back and from this gate he can challenge.

 DOOO DONT THINK (6) started from gate 1 last time out and was soon shuffled back as they found position. 4m from the winner two starts back at this trip, he can defy the gate to feature.

 MAN OF ACTION (12) is one of just three runners in this field with winning form in their past five starts, scoring over the mile two runs back. With the right trip, he is a podium player.

RACE FIVE

A good race here with several smart looking 3YO fillies that converge with differing form references. ALWAYSBJOY (5) struck trouble last start which ended her chances following a first up 2^nd when 2m astern of HAVTIMETODREAM. Despite a tricky gate, she can look to capitalise.

 YOURSOSPECIAL (9) has been runner-up in both runs since returning from a spell, both coming from gate 6 where she has chased home behind big margins. Holding on for the silver behind RIDE THE HIGHS in the Triad Final, she can follow through early here to issue a challenge.

 IMA BOOTY SHAKER (6) makes her first appearance on this side of the Tasman, arriving a one-time winner from five starts as a 2YO. With a tidy trial hit out, the gate makes it a tough ask.

 IMPERMISSIBLE (8) is first up for the new barn and makes her first 3YO appearance. A two-time 2YO winner, she has trialed in good order for the return and will be searching for a way clear.

RACE SIX

BEER MONEY (8) is yet to chalk up a victory here at HQ but may just have found the set up to put one on the board. Sitting parked last start at Marburg, if he is able to be leaders back in this contest where he follows a strong beginner, he will get his chance in the stretch.

 DEE TERROR (10) started from the second line last time out and never got warm in the latter stages as SARGEANT powered home over the top. Buried from inside the second line at Redcliffe the start prior, the gate stings but he can be making a late rally.

 SPORTS BOUNTY (1) has good early hustle and from this inside gate can look to protect the poles. Pressing to the front last start then releasing and finishing a half-neck away, he is in the mix.

 TEACHERS PET (3) is in search of a hat-trick of wins after scoring at the mile and then 2138 in her past two. Dictating last time and gripping on, she can be thereabouts again here.

RACE SEVEN

The gate provides no favours for SARGEANT (7) but there was enough in his victory here last week to suggest that he can secure a repeat. Descending on them to score from gate 10, the effort two back at Redcliffe was solid and with the right tempo, he can arrive again.

 CANDYKANE (3) broke her AP duck here last week when chasing hard in the stretch to arrive for a narrow margin. The form was franked with the runner-up scoring a subsequent victory and with the chance to settle a position or two closer, she can look to challenge.

 LITTLELIONELJAMES (10) has been in the money at his past three starts, winning at the mile when dictating, followed by successive placings. Strong to the line last start from gate 6, look for him late.
 
JUSTROLLINGAROUND (5) lost all momentum last week behind a tiring leader and could have been closer to SARGEANT with better luck. Runner-up the start prior, she can feature again.

RACE EIGHT

Finishing under 3m from the winner last time out, CAPTAIN NEMO (3) has not shown a lot off the gate in recent times, but he should be handy enough in transit here. Making late metres when 4^th behind OUR DICKIE BART three starts back, he might just bob up here.

 BURNS BAY (1) took the trail here three starts back and held on for the silver behind MUCH BETTOR. Beaten by gate 7 last time out, he has the early speed to have the options on offer and with the right trip, finds conditions to issue a challenge.

 SPORTY ZARA (8) has placed at her past two and will take further benefit from the latest placing after three runs back from a spell. Chasing BORSELLINO last start, she will be probing for gaps.

 KARINYA GILL (7) faces the ODM embargo after making an error from outside the second line last time out. Nothing went to plan two starts back and despite the gate, he can be sharper here.
