RACE 1

WEE BONNIE (4) ran well enough last start when finishing third behind Belmer Betty. She draws awkwardly outside of Let Me At It which may see her shuffled back or needing to do some work in this race.

LET ME AT IT (3) has good early speed and might be able to press forward and look to hold that advantage on his main rivals. He has shown in the past when finding the rails he is quite capable and would be hard to run down in this race.

BOLD PERSONALITY (2) was able to secure the right type of run last start and battled on nicely for fourth. She has previously shown she can be competitive when able to find the pegs and with the small field she should be close enough to them.

SAYCHELLES (1) has been racing quite well hitting the line strongly in a few of her recent starts. She draws favourably in this race and should be running on again late.

SELECTIONS: WEE BONNIE (4), LET ME AT IT (3), BOLD PERSONALITY (2), SAYCHELLES (1)

SUGGESTED BET: LET ME AT IT (3) to win.

RACE 2

DON’T ASK AGAIN (3) showed promise last time in when running a number of good races in solid time for this type of grade. She trialled up just fairly recently but wasn’t asked for too much when sitting out the back throughout. If she can lead in this race she’ll be hard to beat.

JAMES ALFRED (7) started from an awkward draw last start inside the back row and was running into it strongly late. He is likely to have derived good benefit from that outing and should be running on again in this race.

DUKE OF ARGYLL (6) started from a poor draw last start at Albion Park and was running on well late after doing a few things wrong. He draws poorly again in this race as a result of his ODM tag and will likely be running on late again.

SHES MY MISTAKE (1) took a trail last time out at this track and couldn’t quite reel in the leader after seemingly doing a few things wrong up the home straight. She should secure a good run and will be thereabouts again.

SELECTIONS: DON’T ASK AGAIN (3), JAMES ALFRED (7), DUKE OF ARGYLL (6), SHES MY MISTAKE (1)

SUGGESTED BET: OURBEACHGIRLMAYWYN (4) to win.

RACE 3

WINDY HILL WHISKEY (3) draws the best of the main chances and should be able to get forward in this race. She led two starts ago and was beaten by Mullum Axel but went well enough to suggest she’d be hard to run down in a race of this nature.

SEE THE DREAM (9) comes into this race first up in QLD having trialled well enough behind Aqua Sancta finishing second. She was previously quite competitive when racing in the state having broken her maiden at Albion Park.

VINNIE NITRO (8) is a capable sit sprinter and was able to run a good third two starts ago behind Konnymara when securing a good run. She has been less suited when doing work in her races and that was the case again last start when well beaten in fast time after sitting right up on speed.

WECANONLYDREAM (1) has gate speed and should be able to hold a prominent position in this race from the good draw. He was running on nicely last start behind Our Ultimate Queen and should be thereabouts again.

SELECTIONS: WINDY HILL WHISKEY (3), SEE THE DREAM (9), VINNIE NITRO (8), WECANONLYDREAM (1)

SUGGESTED BET: WINDY HILL WHISKEY (3) to win.

RACE 4

SHEZA LENNY (6) comes into this race first up from a spell. She has clearly the strongest form of any horse in this race and showed last time in she could do work and still be there at the finish. She should be hard to beat.

FANCY LIKE BARBIE (5) was a winner three starts ago when running on strongly late over the top. She is likely to be shuffled back in the early stages of this race and should be hard to hold out if the race is run to suit.

BELMER BETTY (7) was able to lead four starts ago and proved far too good there scoring a dominant win. She ran well again last start finishing third behind Skylar Bree. She should be running on if the gaps appear at the right time.

ERNIELOVENBOY (9) made a break last start and was out of contention as a result from there. Worth forgiving for making the break last start and could go well here with a soft trailing draw.

SELECTIONS: SHEZA LENNY (6), FANCY LIKE BARBIE (5), BELMER BETTY (7), ERNIELOVENBOY (9)

SUGGESTED BET: SHEZA LENNY (6) to win.

RACE 5

OYSTER STRIDE (6) draws poorly in this race but appears a clear standout on class. He secured a good run three starts ago and was running on strongly in a race taken out by Dipped In Silver. He has options in this grade of race and should be thereabouts.

TRACER BULLET (8) was forced to race without cover last start over the 2040 and battled on gamely there for third behind Malibu Dream who had a soft run off the speed. He should be able to get a good run through early and will be hard to beat in this race.

ROLLONX (7) draws poorly inside the back row but does appear to be one of the class runners in the race. He follows out a horse that is likely to be shuffled back early and will need luck at the right time to get into the clear.

HEAVENS BABY (5) was well beaten last start after drawing wide on the track but is seemingly unsuited over the 2040 and will appreciate the step back to the shorter course this time.

SELECTIONS: OYSTER STRIDE (6), TRACER BULLET (8), ROLLONX (7), HEAVENS BABY (5)

SUGGESTED BET: OYSTER STRIDE (6) to win.

RACE 6

PRECOCIOUS KATE (2) has excellent gate speed and should be able to zip across and lead this race in the early stages. She led last start but had to burn very hard to get there and was tiring late finishing last. If she can secure an easier lead she’d be hard to run down.

BETTYS GOLD CLASS (3) has brilliant gate speed but does draw outside of a horse that also has very good gate speed. She was able to zip across last start before taking cover on Bonnies Cam over the 2040 and was able to run second to him. If she is able to find a prominent position up on speed in this race with cover she should be quite hard to beat.

PRETTY LITTLE LIAR (6) took on a slightly stronger race last time out at Albion Park where she did things wrong and was beaten a long way. She brings some of the strongest form lines into the race and if she can recapture some of her better form she’d be quite hard to beat in this race.

JO ROCKS (1) doesn’t have brilliant gate speed and might be crossed in the early stages. She is going better than her numerical form suggests and from the ideal draw if she can hold a prominent position she should be able to bounce back.

SELECTIONS: PRECOCIOUS KATE (2), BETTYS GOLD CLASS (3), PRETTY LITTLE LIAR (6), JO ROCKS (1)

SUGGESTED BET: PRECOCIOUS KATE (2) to win.

RACE 7

BARRETT (7) was crossed in the early stages last start and buried on the pegs as a result. Once the run came for him up the inside he quickened nicely and sprinted through to score. He has the ideal draw in this race to follow through on the back of a gate speed horse that is likely to be keen to hold a forward position and he should be very hard to hold out late.

MY ULTIMATE VICTOR (1) did it tough two starts ago when running a creditable second to B Mac C at Albion Park over the 1660 before being forced to do the work again last time out running fifth. He finds a race here where he should be able to lead and should be a lot better suited out in front.

BONNIES CAM (6) has bounced back to some form in his latest two outings. He was finishing off strongly two starts ago when running a close up second before finding the front last start and proving too good over this trip. There looks to be solid gate speed drawn to his inside in this race which could make it tricky for him to get across early and he may be shuffled back.

HEZA MAYWYN (3) has been racing with good consistency and looks to have found another race where he will be thereabouts again. He drew poorly two starts ago at this track and trip and was running on strongly into third behind Bev The Goat.

SELECTIONS: BARRETT (7), MY ULTIMATE VICTOR (1), BONNIES CAM (6), HEZA MAYWYN (3)

SUGGESTED BET: BARRETT (7) to win.
