RACE 1

MAJOR SLIP UP (4) hit the line strongly last start from back in the field at Albion Park and draws best of the main chances in this race. He races well up on speed and can look to press forward and should be hard to beat from there.

BEAU STEELE (6) ran well for fourth last start and appears quite well placed in this race. He is likely to get back to last from the wide draw and would appreciate a solid tempo in the race to bring him into it.

VODKA EN ICE (8) got back a long way last start after drawing wide in the early stages and worked to the line nicely in a race taken out by the leader with the horse on her back filling second suggesting it may have been a tough race to make ground. He lands a soft trailing draw this time and should be running on again.

BEACH MAGIC (9) was unlucky two starts ago when held up in good time at Albion Park finishing fourth. He is likely to get a good run into this race from off the speed and should be hard to hold out.

SELECTIONS: MAJOR SLIP UP (4), BEAU STEELE (6), VODKA EN ICE (8), BEACH MAGIC (9)

SUGGESTED BET: MAJOR SLIP (4) to win.

RACE 2

COPY WRITER (5) was shuffled a long way back last start from an awkward draw in a race that became a dash home and she made up strong ground to get into third. She looks to have landed in a very moderate race and should be hard to beat however it pans out early.

DOWNTOWN MANHATTAN (9) was running on nicely late last start before appearing to just get a touch tired on the line. He is likely to have derived benefit from the run and looks suited off a soft trailing draw in this race.

DOC HARVEY (4) has been racing in stronger company and drops back into what is seemingly a fairly moderate race. He generally does his best work on the pegs but is well graded enough he may figure back in the field.

SIGNOR JUJON (7) draws awkwardly inside the back row in this race and will need luck at the right time to be a chance of figuring. He ran a better race last time out when getting into fourth behind The Real Rocketman.

SELECTIONS: COPY WRITER (5), DOWNTOWN MANHATTAN (9), DOC HARVEY (4), SIGNOR JUJON (7)

SUGGESTED BET: DOWNTOWN MANHATTAN (9) each way.

RACE 3

ROCK HAMMER (5) has been racing in excellent form and has been good in his past three starts ago Tamworth. He loves racing at this track and has shown in the past he is very capable of doing the work. He looks hard to beat again.

ZAC DANIELS (4) got shuffled a long way back last start and was running on late. He generally does his best work up on speed which potentially may be a touch tricky in this race from an awkward draw.

ONE LAST ROLL (2) has good early speed and should be able to work to the lead before having options from there. He was a good winner over the 2138 at Albion Park after securing a good run on the leaders back three starts ago.

MARTY THE MARTIAN (3) looked unlucky last start when not beaten far after being held up at a crucial stage of the race.  He draws favourably in this race and should be hard to hold out late with the right run into the race.

SELECTIONS: ROCK HAMMER (5), ZAC DANIELS (4), ONE LAST ROLL (2), MARTY THE MARTIAN (3)

SUGGESTED BET: MARTY THE MARTIAN (3) each way.

RACE 4

TARIFA GIRL (8) was first up from a spell last start when running on strongly into second behind Major Mischief. She is likely to have derived good benefit from her latest outing and from a soft trailing draw she should be running on strongly again in what appears a moderate field.

MY ULTIMATE RUDI (9) is racing better than his numerical form suggests. He was well beaten last start after being forced to do the work at Marburg in a race taken out by The Real Rocketman. He put in a solid run his start prior in a stronger race which was taken out by Rocktime. He should get a good run into it.

ROCCO VARIETY (7) should get a good run through in the early stages of the race on the back of a horse that has gate speed. He is a capable sit sprinter and if the breaks come at the right time he should be running into the finish.

MOLLIDOR (1) has good early speed and should be able to lead before having options from there. She ran a solid third last start at Marburg behind The Real Rocketman and with a similar run should be thereabouts again.

SELECTIONS: TARIFA GIRL (8), MY ULTIMATE RUDI (9), ROCCO VARIETY (7), MOLLIDOR (1)

SUGGESTED BET: MY ULTIMATE RUDI (9) to win.

RACE 5

DOLLAR BROWNIE (5) trialled up nicely recently at Redcliffe when finishing second to subsequent winner Mikis Joe. Although her recent race form is just moderate a sharp recent trial and good gate speed may suggest she can work forward and prove hard to beat.

QUEEN LILIBET (6) trialled up nicely recently at this track scoring by 14 metres. She should be able to press forward in this race find a prominent position and is going to be hard to beat in this company.

MULLM BOY (8) led last start at Marburg and was able to battle on for a solid placing behind Ebony Belle. He was first up from a spell in that race and is likely to have derived benefit from the outing. He should be running on late.

THE BLACK FOX (9) put in a solid effort last start when finishing sixth at this track behind Hes My Reason. He hasn’t run a placing for two months but looks to find a suitable race and gets a good opportunity to run into the money again.

SELECTIONS: DOLLAR BROWNIE (5), QUEEN LILIBET (6), MULLM BOY (8), THE BLACK FOX (9)

SUGGESTED BET: DOLLAR BROWNIE (5) to win.

RACE 6

SATURDAY DANCE (2) has early speed and looks likely to be able to work to the lead in this race. She didn’t have the best of luck last start when checked in the run before running on well into second.

ROCKNROLL KNIGHT (3) forced wide and covered a lot of additional ground in the run home in a race that was run to suit horses up on speed. She looks suited in a small field and should be close enough to the speed. Can be running on late.

RAINBOW GAMBLER (4) was able to secure a good run last start just behind the speed on the pegs and was able to run on into third there. He should be close enough in the small field and can be running on late again.

TIGER ATTACK (6) was a set a big task last time out when pushing through early and holding the breeze. She wasn’t suited in that position and dropped out to finish towards the rear of the field beaten 51.7 metres. If she is driven to what is seemingly her best pattern sit and sprint she can bounce back.

SELECTIONS: SATURDAY DANCE (2), ROCKNROLL KNIGHT (3), RAINBOW GAMBLER (4), TIGER ATTACK (6)

SUGGESTED BET: SATURDAY DANCE (2) to win.

RACE 7

NIGHT NEEDS (1) trialled up just fairly at Albion Park when setting a very moderate tempo and being run down by a trotter late. He appears to find a race where there isn’t a huge amount of depth and with slight improvement off his recent trial he should be hard to beat.

TENGERRI (4) took on a stronger race which was won by Zeezeezoom at Redcliffe finishing fourth. Having had 53 chances to break his maiden I’m not sure he has had a better, more suitable chance to win a race than he does in this field.

MY PRECIOUS BLING (2) secured a good run on the pegs last start behind the speed in a race taken out by Sinkrate just getting a touch tired to finish fifth. Likely to have derived good benefit from the outing there and should secure a similarly good run in this race.

BOURNE HUNGRY (3) found the leaders back last start and was more competitive in a race which was taken out by Sinkrate. He finds a moderate race and in a small field he should be thereabouts again.

SELECTIONS: NIGHT NEEDS (1), TENGERRI (4), MY PRECIOUS BLING (2), BOURNE HUNGRY (3)

SUGGESTED BET: TENGERRI (4) to win.
