Form Analysis: Redcliffe February 26

RACE 1 

YOURSOSPECIAL (4) can look to work forward in this race and find a prominent position. She burned hard to find the lead before handing over to Alwaysbjoy and running fourth. She should find this a bit easier in this race.  

OURBEACHGIRLMAYWYN (2) led before electing to hand over to Barsby and was running on strongly late into second. She has a good draw in this race and should be able to find a forward position before having options from there. She should be nearing peak fitness third up.

ETERNAL BLISS (3) took on a race taken out by Alwaysbjoy where she worked early before being shuffled back and appeared to hit the line quite nicely late. She draws a touch awkwardly this time but should be thereabouts again.

IM BUSTED (1) doesn’t have a great deal of gate speed which makes the usually good draw a touch awkward. He has good ability and won a recent trial prior to returning. He should get every chance.

RACE 2 

CULLECT A STARR (6) comes into this race first up for a new stable. The previous horse to make this switch was Bettors Moon who was been impressive over the last few months winning a number of races. This horse has ability and may be a big improver.

MIGHTY IDEAL (2) was shuffled back early in a strong race taken out by Shes My Mistake. He should be much better suited in what looks a significantly weaker race here. He draws well and should be close enough.

VICTREE ATOM (1) has gate speed and should be able to hold a prominent position. He trialled up reasonably recently when finishing eighth but running through the line well widest on the track.

VICTREE BUSTA (8) ran third a few starts ago behind The Luvbug after securing a good run in the race. He draws well again and should secure an economical run.

RACE 3

WEE BONNIE (9) has finished third her past two starts. She likely wasn’t suited last start when sitting without cover and finishing third to Bold Personality. She should get a good run off the speed and can be running on late. 

ICANANDIWILL (8) ran well last start behind Cool Dude Joey who was able to secure the run on her back. Comes into this race third up from a spell and should be running on late from the good trailing draw. 

DIAMOND DEANO (3) hasn’t been racing well having been well beaten in his recent starts. He has previously been a much better horse when able to get out in front. He has won 3 races in his career all when leading. If he can lead her he may bounce back.

STONES (7) draws awkwardly inside the back row behind a horse that’s unlikely to be favoured in the market. He ran well two starts ago when leading and finishing fourth and is seemingly a better horse with something to follow.

SUGGESTED BET: DIAMOND DEANO (3) each way.

RACE 4 

POWERMOVE (2) has good gate speed this horse and should be able to work to the lead and be hard to beat from there. She sat up on speed last start and did well enough to finish sixth.

DOLLAR BROWNIE (1) should get the perfect run on the leaders back behind Powermove. She had no luck last start when shuffled back early before running on nicely late and finishing an impressive third. 

SEE THE DREAM (9) was able to run on strongly into fifth last start after only working into the clear very late in the race. She is likely to get back again in this race and should be running on well.

CAPTAIN FOXTROT (3) has been racing consistently and is never too far away. He got back in a race taken out by Impermissible recently and was running on nicely into third to be the first horse home off the pegs.

RACE 5

IDEAL TIGER (6) took on a much stronger race last start and finished midfield behind Princess Arna. He raced without a huge amount of luck his start prior behind Explanation noted after getting dragged out of it by a tiring horse before finishing it off well into third.

CRIME TIME (1) doesn’t have much gate speed which often sees him shuffled back from this draw. He got shuffled have two starts ago from this draw and was running on strongly late behind Gracenava over the 2040.

THREE MACHS (5) ran on strongly last start behind Tackas Last Dance in a race that was run to suit. She has been racing in good form and generally does her best when sat up for one run at them late which she should get the opportunity to do in this race. 

ROLLONX (8) led three starts ago and wasn’t beaten far by Courageous Leo. He was unlucky last start after working off the pegs in a race the first two on the pegs ran first and third.

RACE 6 

DOOLITTLE DOOZZIE (9) got shuffled back last start and couldn’t get into the race at Albion Park. She looks well placed in this grade of race and should get a good run through in the early stages. 

YOGI (5) was a touch disappointing last start when sitting leaders back and not figuring in the placings behind Tommy Bligh. He has good gate speed and may look to press forward in this race. He should appreciate the step back to Redcliffe and will be thereabouts.

BETTING BARON (6) took on a much stronger race last start which was won by Princess Arna in fast time. He draws poorly this time but is well graded and should be thereabouts with the race run to suit.

GIDUP CAPTAIN (3) led last start and was well beaten there finishing seventh behind Malibu Dream. He doesn’t seem best suited to leading in races and may look to adopt more conservative tactics in this race.

RACE 7

OYSTER STRIDE (1) has good gate speed and will have options from the good draw in this race. He got a long way back last start and was running on strongly late into second. He looks hard to beat from the good draw.

LETS GO BAILEY (4) appeared a touch unlucky last start when checked at a crucial stage. He steps back to Redcliffe in this race and draws a touch awkwardly. He looks likely to get back and should be running into it late. 

DIPPED IN SILVER (3) was a winner four starts ago when securing an ideal run leaders back. He has since had very little luck in his races. He should get a good run off the speed in this race and if the race is run to suit he should be getting into it late. 

SNIP OF BEAUTY (8) hasn’t been in the placings her past few starts but has been racing well running on nicely through the line. She generally does her best work when able to secure a good run off the speed and run into it late.

RACE 8

CHAMONIX (9) ran a good second behind Jekamias in a heat of the Ultimate Driver series with eventual winner James Herbertson taking the steer. He should get a good run off the speed in this race and with a similar run to last start will be hard to beat.

THERESACHANCE (1) has excellent gate speed and should be able to zip out early before having options from there. He hasn’t quite been at his absolute best but he has always been a good front runner and can bounce back in this race. 

LENNY LINCOLN (7) was a good winner recently at this track when sitting without cover and proving too good for them. He looks likely to get the ideal run through in the early stages of the race and if the gaps appear late he should be hard to beat.

HEZA MAYWYN (5) ran fourth last start in a race dominated by runners on the pegs. He generally runs on well when the race is run to suit and he will be hoping there is a solid early tempo to bring him into it.

RACE 9

BETTYS GOLD CLASS (2) was able to bounce back last start winning after two consecutive second placings. She got back early and was able to run on over the top late to score. She may be able to work to the lead this time and should be hard to beat.

MISS SYRAH (1) elected to take the trail recently at this track when handing over to Misterpresident and running on well into third late. She will have the speed to dictate early but does seem to do her best work with a trail and should be running on well again.

BONNIES CAM (6) has drawn poorly in this race with it appearing as though there is some solid early speed drawn to his inside. He is versatile in this race and if he gets back he can use his high speed to be running on late. 

TAYLORS FOUR (4) impressed last start when running on strongly late to run second behind Bettys Gold Class at this track. She may get shuffled back again and will be hoping for a genuine early tempo.
