Form Anlaysis: Albion Park February 14

14 February 2026

RACE ONE

Burrowing through to hold the front here last week at 2138, BRAVENTREACHEROUS (6) was out of tickets a long way from home and faded after being sent to the post as the fav. Runner-up to the smart FINAL DEADLINE the start prior, he has early hustle and finds conditions to capitalise.

 JEKAMIAS (2)
is racing well of late and should appreciate this level of contest after meeting some handy ones at his past two. Midfield at 2138 last week behind FRENCH FRIES, the start prior was a solid effort for 3rd after being in the mix of a 26 flat opening panel to lead.

 LLANFAIR LLEWELLAN (1)
is hitting good areas in recent appearances, with three wins from his past four starts. Dictating from the front last start, this is harder, but the gate is a huge asset.

 MIKIS JOE (4)
scored a strong win at Redcliffe when wide off the track two starts back and then last week was buried along the poles as FRENCH FRIES arrived. Positioning cheaply will be key.

SELECTIONS: BRAVENTREACHEROUS (6), JEKAMIAS (2), LLANFAIR LLEWELLAN (1), MIKIS JOE (4)
SUGGESTED BET: BRAVENTREACHEROUS (6) to win

RACE TWO

With impressive victories in both runs since resuming as a 4YO, FINAL DEADLINE (1) finds the perfect gate to maintain the perfect start to 2026. Zipping home in 54.6 to score from the tapes when resuming, his second up win has been franked by two subsequent Saturday winners in the beaten brigade. Looks like it will be a time and margins situation.

 BASILISK BOB (6)
made an error when taking on the fav three starts back and finished at the rear of the field. Producing a strong effort at his next outing when under 3m from the winner LANAI, he was luckless last time behind FERNCO NEL and despite the gate looks best of the rest.

 EXPRESS PARTY (7)
worked forward to sit parked and deliver a starchy victory last time out at the mile. Runner-up over the middle trip two starts back, the gate makes it a tough assignment.

 RESILIENT (9)
sprouted wings to score an unlikely victory here two starts back when buried on the fence. Holding 3rd behind FERNCO NEL last time, a soft trip can see him make a late raid.

SELECTIONS:
FINAL DEADLINE (1), BASILISK BOB (6), EXPRESS PARTY (7), RESILIENT (9)
 SUGGESTED BET:
Exotics 1 / 6-7-9 / 3-4-6-7-9

RACE THREE

Runner-up in three successive runs following a first up fifth in the Blacks A Fake, SPEAK THE TRUTH (6) made the most of conditions here last start at this trip. Forcing the issue and working to the front, he fended off a late challenge to score a smart win. Despite a potentially awkward gate, he gets the chance to chase the repeat.

 REGAZZO DI TILLY (9)
was sent on a hit-run mission to Menangle last week when finishing just behind the placings as HI MANAMEISJEFF punched out a 49.3 mile from the front. Fitter for the run where he was first up in six weeks, he can follow through early to issue the challenge.

 TIMS A TROOPER (7)
was asked to sit parked from this gate last week and was game in defeat with the winner rating 51.1 for the mile. A model of consistency, he will be a podium player once again.

 DISTRICT ATTORNEY (5)
capitalised on the perfect trip here last week, sweating on the passing lane and then charging through when the gap opened. Look for him making a late play here.

SELECTIONS: SPEAK THE TRUTH (6), REGAZZO DI TILLY (9), TIMS A TROOPER (7), DISTRICT ATTORNEY (5)
 SUGGESTED BET:
SPEAK THE TRUTH (6) to win

RACE FOUR

The picket fence extended last start to five for the airborne CHEERSTOLOU (2) who stepped up to open company and produced a 53.3 close out from the front. 52.9 was the last 800 start prior as he blazes a trail towards a potential NSW campaign. With the speed to lead, he can make an undeniable case for inclusion in Southern features.

 TURN IT UP (9)
showed that there is still some speed in the old legs when darting through on the passing lane here last week to grab the silver behind DISTRICT ATTORNEY. Chasing home for third the start prior, he can look for the soft trip here and look to zip past the chasers.

 MULLUM HANK (3)
was locked away on the fence last time out and never spotted an opening until it was too late. Charging through late to still be just a neck astern of victory, the start prior he completed a hat-trick and can feature again here.

 FOR REAL LIFE (4)
was second up last start when eased from the gate and hitting the line in nice order to be under 4m from the winner IM THE FALCON. Added fitness will assist his claims.

SELECTIONS: CHEERSTOLOU (2), TURN IT UP (9), MULLUM HANK (3), FOR REAL LIFE (4)
 SUGGESTED BET:
CHEERSTOLOU (2) to win

RACE FIVE

A strong mares contest where the two form females have both drawn wide on the track. POST PAINTER (7) started from the second line last time out and was sent forward to sit parked and was game in defeat when 2m astern of the winner. A tough winner the start prior, she might need to roll the sleeves again here to stake her claim.

 DAISY DIANA (6)
rolled forward from gate 7 to sit parked here last week and despite the tough trip was able to grind out a starchy victory with 3m to spare on the wire. Attacking the line in the closing stages the start prior when just a neck away, she will have no issue with the middle trip and will be hard to beat.

 HELL OF A HAND (3)
has produced a pair of smart wins at her past two midweek appearances, the latest her on Tuesday when descending on them late. Any tempo can see her finishing hard.

 SWEET ADDITION (1)
maps for the soft trip from this gate. Strong to the line here last start when wide off the track, the economical trip will be the ideal tonic here.

SELECTIONS: POST PAINTER (7), DAISY DIANA (6), HELL OF A HAND (3), SWEET ADDITION (1)
 SUGGESTED BET:
POST PAINTER / DAISY DIANA (6/7)

RACE SIX

Runner-up at the past two outings, the conditions look right for UDDERLY SWEET (1) to bounce back into some winning form. Finding the pocket trail last start when best of the chasers behind FRENCH FRIES, the start prior he was under 3m from the winner. With all the favours and options, he can capitalise.

 SMARTER THAN YOU (2)
continues to improve and last start did some early work when holding on to the bronze. Eased from a wide gate before closing in good style the start prior to finish midfield, he can settle handy from this gate and look to issue a challenge.

 MIGHTY JOLT (3)
was too far back last start and then with the tempo he was unable to get warm in the closing stages. Setting the tempo before fading the start prior, he can be thereabouts here.

 ALWAYS DANCING (4)
has been given a freshen following a down the line effort last start, making it two unplaced performances since arriving in Qld. With a front-line gate, he can be sharper here.

SELECTIONS: UDDERLY SWEET (1), SMARTER THAN YOU (2), MIGHTY JOLT (3), ALWAYS DANCING (4)
 SUGGESTED BET:
UDDERLY SWEET (1) to win

RACE SEVEN

A solid mare’s line up here where despite the wide gate, TREMENDOOUS SENSATION (6) can look to bounce back into winning form. Resuming from a spell here a fortnight back, she found the pocket trail from gate 4 when runner-up to IMA QUEEN BEE. Third to LUX AETERNA prior to a break, the added fitness can see her capitalise.

 THE VICAR OF DIBLEY (7)
is afforded no favours from another wide gate as she backs up from a Menangle appearance last week. Eased from a wide gate in that event, she impressed in the closing stages. A tough trip in a sub 50 mile parked outside SHES A WARRAWEE the start prior, she has the class to challenge.

 SOAP OPERA (8)
made the most of conditions here last week to power home over the top for a narrow victory. A 10-time winner now on this deck, she has second line options to make a podium play.

 MULLUM RUBY (1)
settled in the 1x1 trail last time in qualifying company when just behind the placings as POST PAINTER arrived. Placed at her previous four in succession, a soft trip behind the speed can see her chime in.

SELECTIONS: TREMENDOOUS SENSATION (6), THE VICAR OF DIBLEY (7), SOAP OPERA (8), MULLUM RUBY (1)
 SUGGESTED BET:
TREMENDOOUS SENSATION (6) to win

RACE EIGHT

Off the back of an impressive trial, SHES CRUNCHY (3) was sent out in red figures from gate 6 at her Qld debut where she was sent forward to find the front. Still with some learning to undertake, it was a smart first up performance in finishing runner-up to DAISY DIANA. Added experience and fitness should see her hard to stop.

 EUREKA JO (6)
made a mid-race move over the 2138 last time out to look for a spot nearer the action and then her chances expired with an error. A beaten fav the start prior in her first appearance for the new stable when third to POST PAINTER, she looks a threat in this line up.

 OHANA DANCER (2)
was a midweek winner here two starts back when forced to grind it out first over. Taking a 3m margin, she was buried last time and never spotted an opening. The gate helps here.

 MISS BAY KING COLE (4)
was exposed early before receiving cover here last time out as DAISY DIANA proved too strong. Positioning cheaply can see her grab some minor money.

SELECTIONS:
SHES CRUNCHY (3), EUREKA JO (6), OHANA DANCER (2), MISS BAY KING COLE (4)
 SUGGESTED BET:
SHES CRUNCHY (3) to win

RACE NINE

Chasing a hat-trick of victories as he marches through the grades, AJAY VOLSTEAD (1) looks set to enjoy the ideal set up from this gate. First to the fence and then stalking the speed at the 2138 mobile start last time out, when the gap presented, he exploded through to post a 6m margin. He has serious wheels and coiled, will be ready to strike once again.

 NOT AS PROMISED (3)
got it all wrong when resuming from a spell when finishing at the rear of the field three starts back. Runner-up in both subsequent appearances, he worked to the front last week but had no answer to the closing speed of GUS. He will be gripping on again here.

 HIDE AND SEEK (6)
has placed at his past three in succession, the latest when 5m astern of GUS here last week in the 3157 marathon. In the small field, he can chase another podium finish.

SELECTIONS: AJAY VOLSTEAD (1), NOT AS PROMISED (3), HIDE AND SEEK (6)
 SUGGESTED BET:
AJAY VOLSTEAD (1) to win
