Form Analysis: Albion Park March 10

10 March 2026

RACE ONE

With the benefit of experience following his race debut last week, SAN LUCA (4) can look to capitalise second up. Holding the trail from the inside gate last time, he was 5m astern of the winner PARISIAN HUSTLER. This looks within reach.

 PRETTY WICKED (2)
has the benefit of two race starts to her name and can look to call on that experience in this small field. Eased from a wide gate to find the poles last start, her debut effort when 6m from SCAR STRUCK was a tidy first outing and she can challenge here.

 CRUNCHY TUNA (3)
is a Captain Crunch filly on debut for Ben Battle that ranks as a half to the 18-time winner SAINT CRUSADER. With a tidy trial in readiness, she can feature.

SELECTIONS: SAN LUCA (4), PRETTY WICKED (2), CRUNCHY TUNA (3)
SUGGESTED BET: SAN LUCA (4) to win

RACE TWO

Placed at his past two outings, the set up looks right for JAMES ALFRED (4) to chase a first win for the season. From the pocket trail last start, he chased for the silver when under 3m from the winner FITZROY. Sitting parked at Redcliffe when second up and holding 3rd, he will get forward.

 SITTING ON EIGHT (6)
will be further tightened from his latest outing when second up from a spell. Working hard in the run to get forward to the breeze, he lost momentum on the bend and with the leader zipping home in 26.5, the task was out of reach. Despite another wide gate, he can throw it down.

 BARSBY (5)
was sent to sit parked at his first look at 2138 last time out and after the tough trip, was a neck in arrears of the winner. Hard to gauge the level he has returned after three runs this season.

SELECTIONS:
JAMES ALFRED (4), SITTING ON EIGHT (6), BARSBY (5)
 SUGGESTED BET:
JAMES ALFRED (4) to win

RACE THREE

Faced with gate 7 last time out at the mile, IDEAL BRONSKI (5) was sent forward to face the breeze and despite a tough trip was game in defeat when just a half-head from the winner IMA BOOTY SHAKER. Completing a hat-trick of wins the start prior, he finds can capitalise.

 TWEEDY (3)
started from gate 1 on Saturday night when shuffled to three back along the inside. Making some ground in the stretch to grab the bronze behind MARDIBRINGSAPARTY, she has hit the board in four of her past five and finding a cheap position can assist her challenging hopes.

 JILLIBY GIDDEY (7)
is afforded no favours from the car park but has been consistent in four appearances for the season with a win and two minors. Positioning cheaply will be key to his podium claims.

 TIGER SHIRL (6)
is another on the back up from a mare’s qualifier on Saturday, finishing runner-up to ILOVEACALENDARGIRL. 2nd to that same mare at her past two, she can chime in here.

SELECTIONS: IDEAL BRONSKI (5), TWEEDY (3), JILLIBY GIDDEY (7), TIGER SHIRL (6)
 SUGGESTED BET:
IDEAL BRONSKI (5) to win

RACE FOUR

Shooting for a hat trick of victories PIZZA PRINCE (5) has been a winner in successive starts at these same 2138 mobile conditions. Off the inside and circling to the chair last start, he was able to grind out a half-neck victory. He can press forward again and complete the threepeat.

 LOOK FOR TASCOTT (4)
is also chasing a hat trick after successive victories from the 20-metre handicap. Finishing over the top in a UDC heat, it followed a weaving victory up the passing lane. He has the ability, but he will see the start car for the first time under race conditions here.

 DAIMYO (10)
burrowed through from gate 1 last time, holding the front at these same conditions. Keen in the run he faded in the latter stages when 4th behind SASSY GALLEON.

FENOMENAL (6) started from the 20m impost last time when safely away to find the 1x1 trail.  Chasing home for the bronze on that occasion, positioning cheaply can see him feature here.

SELECTIONS: PIZZA PRINCE (5), LOOK FOR TASCOTT (4), DAIMYO (10), FENOMENAL (6)
 SUGGESTED BET:
PIZZA PRINCE (5) to win

RACE FIVE

Building into his campaign with successive placings, WESTERN ACTION (1) can look to exploit the mapping favours here for a breakthrough. Chasing home THE REAL ROCKETMAN last time from the running line, he can stalk the speed from this gate to make the closing shot a winner.

 FAVREAU (5)
is not far from a 22nd career victory, having placed at in four of his past five, including finishing as the bridesmaid at his past three in succession. Content to sit parked last start, he was game in defeat as the fav and will likely need to roll the sleeves again here.

 SPECIALANDIKNOWIT (2)
has been closer than gate 7 once in his past 12 starts, making the most of it on that occasion to score. He can look for the front and out of trouble give cheek.

 SPORTS BOUNTY (9)
should be able to follow through at the start to settle in a handy position in the running line. Forced to retreat after trying to get forward last start, he can chime in this time.

SELECTIONS: WESTERN ACTION (1), FAVREAU (5), SPECIALANDIKNOWIT (2), SPORTS BOUNTY (9)
 SUGGESTED BET:
WESTERN ACTION (1) win/place

RACE SIX

Despite the 20m back mark, a return to this grade from the tapes can be the catalyst for TAYLAD TO USE (10) to bounce back to winning form. His only appearance from the tapes in his past five starts was a 10m tape in the Marathon behind GUS. Backing up from Saturday when chasing ALDEBARANSTILINSKI, he can capitalise.

 CALL ME TROUBLE (7)
was chasing home behind SASSY GALLEON from back in the pack last start and sectionally was impressive despite missing the money. Runner-up to that same winner the start prior, the front tape is in his favour and if trotting cleanly throughout, can throw it down.

KODA DA MODA (9) will benefit from her latest start when resuming from a let up and chasing home for the bronze behind SASSY GALLEON. She can be chiming in late.

MAJESTIC BREEZE (6) makes a rise in grade to tackle this contest but comes into the battle with successive wins. A winner in three of her past five, trotting cleanly can see her in the mix.

SELECTIONS: TAYLAD TO USE (10), CALL ME TROUBLE (7), KODA DA MODA (9), MAJESTIC BREEZE (6)

SUGGESTED BET: TAYLAD TO USE (10)

RACE SEVEN

Arriving from the North Island of NZ as a five-time winner, TYSON (2) made his first Qld appearance in a UDC heat from gate 4 at 2138. Forced to sit parked, he went down swinging when just a head from the winner. With a safe qualifying trial for his stand start debut, he can arrive.

 MOSSDALE TERRY (8)
was scratchy off the mark last time out and lost valuable position in the run. Chasing strongly, he produced a sectionally impressive performance to be 6m from the winner PATH TO GREATNESS. Second up in that outing, added fitness and a safe beginning will see him throw it down.

 HOT AND TREACHEROUS (9)
faces the 30m back tape, the same mark as two starts back when making a strong challenge to be a neck from the winner DASHING which has since won in Saturday company. He can be thereabouts.

 ARKIN WICKED (1)
eased from gate 5 last start at the mobile 2138 and had the momentum to descend on them wide on the track for a narrow margin. With inside running, he can chime in.

SELECTIONS: TYSON (2), MOSSDALE TERRY (8), HOT AND TREACHEROUS (9), ARKIN WICKED (1)
 SUGGESTED BET:

RACE EIGHT

Tricky race to line up with some front-line hustle. With the right trail in the early stages, MY ULTIMATE VICTOR (9) can follow through, and any expected tempo will then be right in his favour. A Redcliffe winner three starts back, he has hit the board in five of his past six and is up to this.

 JUSTROLLINGAROUND (3)
found the front early before taking a trail and then finishing midfield behind MILLIEWOOD at 2138. With early hustle, she can again look for the pegs and the return to the mile will be in her favour to throw down the challenge.

 THE REAL ROCKETMAN (5)
fired off the arm last time out, took control and from the front dictated a 5m victory in a career PB. Not far away from a second line gate the start prior, he has claims for a repeat.

 CAPTAIN NEMO (7)
was running on over the latter stages here two starts back to grab the bronze behind HATTIES JEWEL. Unable to get warm last start, he is a podium hope.

SELECTIONS: MY ULTIMATE VICTOR (9), JUSTROLLINGAROUND (3), THE REAL ROCKETMAN (5), CAPTAIN NEMO (7)
 SUGGESTED BET:
MY ULTIMATE VICTOR (9) to win

RACE NINE

Starting from the inside gate last time out, COTCHINELLIE (3) was crossed early but was quickly sent into attack mode and worked to the front in a sub 27 opening panel. Putting on a power running display, he ran a hard 1.51.5 mile. That followed a first up 3rd behind MAJOR CRUNCH, and he can power up again.

 STRIKEM (7)
resumed from a spell with a 2nd at Redcliffe when drawn wide off the track, working hard in the run to be just 3m from the winner CREDULOUS. Third up into a UDC heat, he scored a smart win with the form franked by four subsequent winners in the beaten pack. The gate hurts but he can throw it down.

 IMPERMISSIBLE (4)
has completed a hat-trick of victories at Redcliffe and will look to transfer that form to the big deck. This is a stern rise in grade and despite giving away experience to most, can still feature.

 STILLYOURSHOT (2)
was first up from a let up last start from this same gate. With little early hustle, he then faded to finish at the rear. Fitter for that run, he can be sharper.

SELECTIONS: COTCHINELLIE (3), STRIKEM (7), IMPERMISSIBLE (4), STILLYOURSHOT (2)
 SUGGESTED BET:
COTCHINELLIE (3) to win

RACE TEN

First up for the new barn last time out, MAJOR CRUNCH (4) held the front at 2138 and was never in danger with a 3m margin, with subsequent winner COTCHINELLIE beaten into 3rd. With some handy Victorian form prior to arriving, he finds the conditions to go 2 from 2 in the Sunshine State.
 BAIL DENIED (1)
was a Redcliffe winner five starts back when dictating from the front over 2040 and running a strong last 800. Placed in three of four since, he was shuffled to three back from inside the second line last time, finishing 4m from MARTIN MAGIC. The gate is a huge help.

 SOHO CASABLANCA (5)
has been a hard follow in recent performances, with some mixed results. A sticky gate makes this a tough ask, but at his best can feature in this line up.

 HATTIES JEWEL (2)
has hit some good areas in recent outings and lines up in search of a hat-trick. Finding the front and releasing at her past two in each, similar tactics can see her feature.

SELECTIONS:
MAJOR CRUNCH (4), BAIL DENIED (1), SOHO CASABLANCA (5), HATTIES JEWEL (2)
 SUGGESTED BET:
MAJOR CRUNCH (4) to win
