RACE 1

AMERICAN BOULEVARD (7) has the strongest form lines coming into this race having finished just behind midfield last start in a race taken out by The Rizzler last start. She should find this race easier and draws to do no work in the early stages of the race.

MYSTICALFANTASY (6) hit the front and raced away before being reeled in late by The Blingster last stat at Redcliffe.  She draws to follow out a horse that may elect to hold the lead in this race which should give her every chance.

STONES (1) ran well two starts ago when just beaten by Threentwo who sat outside of him to score at Albion Park. He led again last start at the 2040 at Redcliffe and was probably less suited over that trip. He steps back to the short course and should lead again.

LOUISE LUCK (9) is yet to show anything yet in QLD having been beaten 29 and 37 metres in two starts to date while reasonably well favoured in the market each time. She is hard to recommend off those starts but has had a break since her latest outing and could potentially be better for it.

SELECTIONS: AMERICAN BOULEVARD (7), MYSTICALFANTASY (6), STONES (1), LOUISE LUCK (9)

SUGGESTED BET: AMERICAN BOULEVARD (7) to win.

RACE 2

GETAGRIP (5) has good gate speed and should be able to work to the lead at some stage in this race. He brings clearly the strongest form into this race and trialled twice in preparation for his return to the races. He is likely to go around a clear favourite.

LAZENA (4) started a short priced favourite last start leading before finishing a well beaten fifth. She had run an excellent race two starts ago behind Tiger Shirl at Redcliffe when finishing fourth in good time. Her best is good enough to place a part in the finish.

ICANANDIWILL (7) two starts ago was able to win after securing a good run off the speed and running on well late. She should get a good run through early and should be close enough to figure in the minor money.

BELMER BETTY (6) was held up at a crucial stage last start before flashing into third making up good ground. She draws awkwardly inside the back row in this race and will need luck at the right time again.

SELECTIONS: GETAGRIP (5), LAZENA (4), ICANANDIWILL (7), BELMER BETTY (6)

SUGGESTED BET: GETAGRIP (5) to win.

RACE 3

ONEANDONLY (9) trialled up nicely recently in a trial taken out by Kalasa with Kuzma in second who are both metro level pacers. He had trialled up quite well hitting the line nicely enough his start prior at Albion Park. He comes into this on debut and draws poorly but looks to have strong enough claims.

RESPECT THE MIKI (4) was narrowly beaten last start by Captain Blue Chip when first up from a spell. They rated very moderate time in that race but she was first up and did draw on the back row. She is likely to have derived benefit from the run and should be thereabouts in this race.

EXIT STAGE LEFT (7) ran well on debut two starts ago when showing good gate speed early to land on the leaders back before making a break mid race and still working through the line well enough. She then made a break again last start and took no part. She can figure if she brings better manners.

KISS MY CLASS (5) was well beaten in a recent trial at Albion Park but appeared to run through the line reasonably. He is likely to have derived benefit from that outing and could figure in the minor money with luck on debut.

SELECTIONS: ONEANDONLY (9), RESPECT THE MIKI (4), EXIT STAGE LEFT (7), KISS MY CLASS (5)

SUGGESTED BET: ONEANDONLY (9) to win.

RACE 4

ALLSHECANBE (3) ran well two starts ago finishing third behind Piscina and Tiger Shirl. She showed good speed to kick away down the back before getting a touch tired late. If she can lead again in this race she would likely be very hard to run down around Marburg.

SAYCHELLES (2) secured a good run at Redcliffe just behind the speed on Thursday and was able to power home late down the outside to nab Captain Foxtrot in the final 50 and score. She moves into gate 1 with the scratching of Tiger Attack and should secure an ideal run again.

VICTREE BUSTA (9) ran well on Thursday at Redcliffe when working forward early before running on well late to get into third behind The Post Girl. He is likely to get a long way back in this race and can be running on late again.

SATURDAY DANCE (5) got a long way back in the run in a slowly run race last start before launching wide early sprinting up well and just getting a touch tired late. She did work home well her start prior to last start when running on into fourth at Albion Park and if a few things went her way she could figure in the finish in this race.

SELECTIONS: ALLSHECANBE (3), SAYCHELLES (2), VICTREE BUSTA (9), SATURDAY DANCE (5)

SUGGESTED BET: ALLSHECANBE (3) to win.

RACE 5

WILLROBY (4) got a long way back from a wide draw last start and was running on nicely into third late behind Get Me Outta Here. The runner up in that race Captain Oh Captain has since come out and won appearing to strengthen those form lines. He looks well graded and can figure with the right run.

GHOST TRAIN (6) has been hitting the line well recently. He ran a good third three starts ago at Redcliffe behind Shadys Delight. He looks likely to be behind the leader in this race and if the runs come at the right time he should be right in the finish.

WESTERN ACTION (8) wasn’t beaten far in a fast mile two starts ago behind Favreau. He then backed that up with an unlucky ninth shuffled right back early before hitting the line reasonably. The big query for him in this race is needing to handle the tight circuit which he hasn’t in the past.

MY ULTIMATE LOUIE (1) should have the speed to lead in the early stages of the race. He led last start and was able to finish fourth behind Lulu Lucifer. This race looks significantly easier and he should be hard to catch leading.

SELECTIONS: WILLROBY (4), GHOST TRAIN (6), WESTERN ACTION (8), MY ULTIMATE LOUIE (1)

SUGGESTED BET: GHOST TRAIN (6) each way.

RACE 6

ONE LAST ROLL (1) was forced to face the breeze last start at Redcliffe in a race taken out by Lenny Lincoln battling on well to finish fifth. He usually begins nicely from the stand start and if he can lead in this race he’d give them something to catch.

REDS STAR DEAL (6) hasn’t been suited in recent stand starts at Albion Park where he has had to start on equal terms or close to well performed horses including Frankie Ferocious and Path To Greatness. He should appreciate the step back to a race where he looks one of the class runners and with a safe getaway he can figure.

AZOR AHAI (4) seems to like the stand starts and he appears reasonable well in off the front in this race. He wasn’t suited in his most recent stand start outings racing good horses at Albion Park. He rated good personal mile rates a number of times when out of the placings in efforts that would likely see him winning a race of this nature.

AQUA SANCTA (8) was beaten a long way last start after sitting outside the leader and over racing badly over the longer 2280 journey. He may appreciate

SELECTIONS: ONE LAST ROLL (1), REDS STAR DEAL (6), AZOR AHAI (4), AQUA SANCTA (8)

SUGGESTED BET: REDS STAR DEAL (6) to win.

RACE 7

JILLIBY PANDA (2) has very good gate speed and should be able to work forward and find a prominent position. He was left without cover last start at Redcliffe and battled on nicely for fifth in an effort that would likely see him hard to beat in a race of this nature if he was able to find the lead.

ROCKNROLL DA GAMA (9) only got into the clear very late last start and flashed to just miss nabbing Rollonx late. He has always been best suited when saved up for one run at them and he should get the opportunity to do that again from a good trailing draw.

COPY WRITER (5) ran well last start when finishing third to Courageous Leo after leading at Redcliffe. She hasn’t started for over a month which appears a query and also draws poorly this time which may see her working or shuffled a long way back.

SIGNOR JUJON (6) draws awkwardly inside the back row following out a horse unlikely to be favoured in this race. He battled on well for fourth last start after being forced to do a lot of work in the run last time out.

SELECTIONS: JILLIBY PANDA (2), ROCKNROLL DA GAMA (9), COPY WRITER (5), SIGNOR JUJON (6)

SUGGESTED BET: JILLIBY PANDA (2) to win.

RACE 8

TEACHERS PET (8) is a class dropper into this race having taken on stronger company. She does generally do her best work up on speed but has been able to run on from back in the field in this type of company in the past.

PROSPECTUS (4) was able to secure a good run last start off the speed before finishing off well into a midfield position when held up for clear running late. She is a horse that possesses very good gate speed for this type of grade and may elect to press forward in this race. If she could find the lead she would likely be very hard to run down.

EXPLANATION NOTED (6) was a string winner three starts ago leading all the way at Albion Park to score a big win in fast time for the grade. She has since been beaten big margins of 96 metres and 26 metres. She drops in class and could bounce back.

DOC HARVEY (2) looks likely to be able to zip across in the early stages before having options. He has elected to take a trail in recent times including three starts ago when he handed over and was able to score at Redcliffe.

SELECTIONS: TEACHERS PET (8), PROSPECTUS (4), EXPLANATION NOTED (6), DOC HARVEY (2)

SUGGESTED BET: PROSPECTUS (4) to win.

RACE 9

ABSOLUTELY STOKED (2) has good early speed which she showed last start before ducking in behind the leader. She was badly held up there before flashing late to get into third. She should be able to get forward in this race and if she could lead she’d be hard to run down.

SHEREACTS (1) has moderate gate speed and a perfect draw. She has taken a trail at this track and trip in the past and run well and may look to adopt similar tactics in this race. She was forced to do plenty of work outside a strong tempo last start and battled on well not to be beaten further.

GENTLE GIANT (6) was a winner three starts ago after leading all the way at Redcliffe. He draws inside the back row and should get a good run through early. He should run well again if the gaps appear at the right time.

JILLIBY TSUNAMI (9) was able to score another win last start after securing a good run off the speed and closing strongly late to get over the top. He should be able to secure a good run off the speed again in this race and will be running on late.

SELECTIONS: ABSOLUTELY STOKED (2), SHEREACTS (1), GENTLE GIANT (6), JILLIBY TSUNAMI (9)

SUGGESTED BET: ABSOLUTELY STOKED (2) to win.
