19 March 2026

RACE 1

KIA ORA LOU (6) arrived in QLD with very moderate WA form having run just one placing from 9 starts. She got a long way back and wasn’t suited in a race they ran a quick last 800. She should find this a lot easier stepping back to Redcliffe.

SWEET CHARMER (1) has poor numerical form from her race starts to date but did take on some nice enough horses early in her career. She trialled up quite well recently finishing a clear second to Toodalou who rated good time for a maiden running home a slick last half.

EXIT STAGE LEFT (2) didn’t handle being wide on the track last time out at Marburg through the quickest part of the race when finishing seventh. She had performed well on debut despite making a break at a crucial stage of the race. With the option to head straight to the pegs in this race she could be an improver.

RESPECT THE MIKI (3) led early and was able to get away with a very slow early tempo. She had every possible chance to win and was quite well beaten in the end by Along The Way. She needs to lift off that effort to be a chance of winning this race.

SELECTIONS: KIA ORA LOU (6), SWEET CHARMER (1), EXIT STAGE LEFT (2), RESPECT THE MIKI (3)

SUGGESTED BET: KIA ORA LOU (6) to win.

RACE 2

WILPEKA (9) put in an excellent run last time out when finishing third to Eternal Bliss in a race they ran a very fast last half at Albion Park. This looks a much easier race and she draws to do no work on the back row. She looks hard to beat.

MATTEO (5) was able to score last start after coming from off the speed in a race that was run to suit beating Prescott. This looks another reasonably suitable race despite the wide draw. He may need to do some work at some stage in this race but looks capable.

WAR ZONE (6) was able to break his maiden status last start when sitting outside the leader Always Circling last time out. He draws widest this time outside the front row but should get a good run off the speed and can be running on late.

VICTREE ATOM (2) has good gate speed and may be able to find a forward position in this race. He was shuffled a long way back last time out and ran on well into a good second. He should run well again.

SELECTIONS: WILPEKA (9), MATTEO (5), WAR ZONE (6), VICTREE ATOM (2)

SUGGESTED BET: MATTEO (5) to win.

RACE 3

MARRTY THE MARTIAN (7) should get a good run through on the back of a gate speed horse. He ran well two starts ago when getting a long way off Rocktime in the run and finishing off very well when quite wide to get into second. He backed that up last start when running on into second behind Vincent Time at this track and trip. He should be hard to hold out.

MISS SYRAH (2) had very little luck last time out when shuffled a long way back before flashing home late to finish fifth. She has been in career best form having scored two wins in her last three races and looks to find another race where she can figure with the right run.

MY ULTIMATE VICTOR (1) got a long way back last start and hit the line strongly late to finish second in fast time. He led four starts ago at this track and trip and was able to prove too good there when leading all the way to beat Barrett. He should run well again.

BARRETT (4) has been racing in good form in recent starts. He was able to secure a good run last start and finished a close up second to My Ultimate Victor. He hasn’t had a start for nearly a month which is a query.

SELECTIONS: MARRTY THE MARTIAN (7), MISS SYRAH (2), MY ULTIMATE VICTOR (1), BARRETT (4)

SUGGESTED BET: MARTY THE MARTIAN (7) to win.

RACE 4

CAPTAIN FOXTROT (5) has loomed up and looked the winner in plenty of races but just doesn’t quite finish it off his last 50 and as a result he’s run 23 placings and won just 4 races. He loomed up last start and looked the winner but was run down late by Saychelles who’d had a good run in the race. He looks hardest to beat again.

PRIORITY BETTING (9) has been racing consistently in recent starts. He finished midfield last start when looking to run on late in a race taken out by Saychelles. He should get a good run off the speed and if the race is run to suit he should be running on late.

WECANONLYDREAM (8) ran well for third three starts ago behind Icanandiwill at this track over the 2040. He looks likely to get a good run through and should be close enough to run into the money again.

FANCY LIKE BARBIE (7) didn’t make much impression last start when getting back and struggling to run on late. She draws awkwardly inside the back row but is one of the horses that boasts the best form lines and if she gets out she can be running on.

SELECTIONS: CAPTAIN FOXTROT (5), PRIORITY BETTING (9), WECANONLYDREAM (8), FANCY LIKE BARBIE (7)

SUGGESTED BET: CAPTAIN FOXTROT (5) to win.

RACE 5

DUAL CAM (3) he has been very impressive since landing in QLD having raced without luck in nearly every start. He started a short priced favourite last time out and didn’t have things go his way when jumping onto the back of the leader before being held up at a crucial stage and through the line. He finds a race where he looks like he should be able to work to the lead and if he does he should break through for his first win since returning to QLD.

TWO TICKS (6) has changed stables since her latest outing in a heat of the Ultimate Driver Series. She lands in the stable of Alex Johnson who has been able to improve a number of new horses to her stable over the last year or so. She draws poorly but looks clearly one of the class runners in this race having been beaten just 5.8 metres in a quick 1.52.9 mile rate.

SEE THE DREAM (2) was shuffled back last start and didn’t make much impression late when well beaten there. Had been eye catching her start prior when running on nicely late to finish midfield. She gains the services of Nathan Dawson and draws favourably.

LUVN OSMAN (4) showed gate speed last start to lead before working through the middle and was just overpowered by Bronx late. He may not be able to lead again in this race but he should settle close enough and looks one of the main chances.

SELECTIONS: DUAL CAM (3), TWO TICKS (6), SEE THE DREAM (2), LUVN OSMAN (4)

SUGGESTED BET: DUAL CAM (3) to win.

RACE 6

TOMMY BLIGH (6) brings some of the best form into the race but does draw poorly outside the front row. He started outside the front row at Albion Park over the 2138 and was well beaten by Gracenava after burning over to lead and over racing. He may be driven more conservatively in this race and could bounce back.

PLAYFUL MISS (2) led two starts ago seemingly over racing and being well beaten there. She was much better last start when sat up for one run finishing off powerfully late into third. She may be driven in a similar manner that saw her run well last start and should be running on again late.

ERASMUS (4) has very good gate speed and finds a race where he may be able to find a forward position. He led recently at Albion Park in a much stronger race and was only beaten 4.9 metres. A similar effort would likely see him hard to beat.

TAKE COURAGE (8) has been in near career best form in recent starts. She was able to secure a good run off the speed last start and was taking plenty of ground off Wandary Delight late who had given her the cart up into the race. If the race is run to suit she should be thereabouts again.

SELECTIONS: TOMMY BLIGH (6), PLAYFUL MISS (2), ERASMUS (4), TAKE COURAGE (8)

SUGGESTED BET: TAKE COURAGE (8) each way.

RACE 7

MERRY JEWEL (5) started first up for the stable of Donny Smith where she over raced badly and did well to battle on for fourth. She trialled up reasonably in a strong trial taken out by Bigger The Bettor. She should be hard to beat.

ABSOLUTELY STOKED (8) didn’t have much luck last time out at Marburg when forced to take a trail behind the leader before working away from the inside and running second to The Blingster. She should get a good run off the speed and can be running on late.

WELL SAID NUGGET (6) has run second his latest two outings. He took a trail on Kerbang two starts ago and was able to run second to that horse who has since run well. He was running on well late behind Theresachance in a race that wasn’t run to suit. He should be hard to beat.

BEAU STEELE (1) led from the stand start at Marburg last time out and was well beaten there but probably isn’t suited to leading at this stage of his career. He should get a good run close to the speed in this race and should be thereabouts.

SELECTIONS: MERRY JEWEL (5), ABSOLUTELY STOKED (8), WELL SAID NUGGET (6), BEAU STEELE (1)

SUGGESTED BET: MERRY JEWEL (5) to win.

RACE 8

PERFECT FEELING (3) ran on strongly two starts ago to finish just 1.2 metres off Doolittle Doozzie at this track. He has gate speed and may be able to find a forward position in this race. He appears well graded and with the right run should be hard to beat.

BETA THAN LOVE (6) made a break last start and was tailed off as a result last time out. Her form prior to two starts ago was fairly good for a race of this nature and she is dropping in grade off some of her better efforts. She may be able to bounce back in this race if the race is run to suit.

MAJOR LINCOLN (9) appears well suited starting on the back row doing no work early. He ran well last start when run down late by Lets Go Bailey who he had tracking him into the race. He should be running on again.

ROCKNROLL DA GAMA (2) has always been a very capable sit sprinter. He was able to get out late two starts ago flashing late to just miss in a race taken out by Rollonx. He should be running on again and draws favourably.

SELECTIONS: PERFECT FEELING (3), BETA THAN LOVE (6), MAJOR LINCOLN (9), ROCKNROLL DA GAMA (2)

SUGGESTED BET: PERFECT FEELING (3) to win.

RACE 9

BETTYS GOLD CLASS (5) has brilliant gate speed and may be able to launch across in this race and lead. Four starts ago she was able to secure a good run off the speed before finishing best late to score. She ran well again last start when sitting behind the leader and running third over the less suitable 2040 journey.

JEFFCOATE (8) has been placed his last three starts. He led and had to work hard early two starts ago and was run down by Western Bill who was able to win his next start. He should secure a good run off the speed and has run well at this track before.

ASHLEE NITRO (4) did well to nab the spot 3 back on the pegs last time out before weaving into the clear and proving too good running home best. She is the queen of Redcliffe and is rarely too far away at this track.

PRINCE JOY (9) was left without cover last start and faded late to finish fourth. He should secure a good run off the speed this time and will likely appreciate the step back to the 2040 in this race.

SELECTIONS: BETTYS GOLD CLASS (5), JEFFCOATE (8), ASHLEE NITRO (4), PRINCE JOY (9)

SUGGESTED BET: BETTYS GOLD CLASS (5) to win.
