RACE 1

STORMTIDE (8) was formerly trained in QLD and raced in much stronger company than this having dropped a long way in grade while racing in NSW. He was badly held up last start at Albion Park and appeared likely to figure in the finish had he got a run. He can be hard to beat.

BARNSTORMER (2) ran a much better race last start when driven aggressively and finishing fourth. He has gate speed and might be able to press forward in this race and if he could find the lead he would become the one to beat.

ROCK NIEN (4) had no luck last start at Albion Park when starting from a good draw and being shuffled back early. He had been racing well prior to that and loves racing at this track and trip. He should be thereabouts.

GLENLEDI BOY (1) is generally a horse that does his best when driven with cover which he will get the opportunity to do in this race. He was a good winner five starts ago when coming from a long way back in the race and a similar effort would likely see him hard to beat.

SELECTIONS: STORMTIDE (8), BARNSTORMER (2), ROCK NIEN (4), GLENLEDI BOY (1)

SUGGESTED BET: STORMTIDE (8) to win.

RACE 2

KERBANG (6) finished a narrow second to Windy Hill Wally last start after running on from back in the field. He was eye catching two starts ago when finishing third and looks to be closing in strongly on another win. He will need to navigate a wide draw but is versatile in this type of grade.

WAR CLUB (5) has poor numerical form but is racing better than his numerical form suggests. He got back last start in a race dominated by horses up on speed on the pegs with the first 3 home all racing on the pegs in the run. He is likely to get back and should be running on late.

WELL SAID NUGGET (1) has good early speed and should be able to zip off the gate and lead before having options in this race. He was a good winner three starts ago coming from back in the field and hasn’t had a lot of luck in his races since.

BEV THE GOAT (7) was a dominant winner four starts ago leading all the way at this track and trip. She led again last start and was seemingly well bellow her best when finishing a well beaten fourth in slower time than her recent victory.

SELECTIONS: KERBANG (6), WAR CLUB (5), WELL SAID NUGGET (1), BEV THE GOAT (7)

SUGGESTED BET:

RACE 3

MAJOR LINCOLN (2) ran on nicely last start into fourth behind Princess Arna at Albion Park in a heat of the Ultimate Driver series. He should be able to work to the lead in this race and if he can find the front he’d be very hard to run down.

LAST CALL (3) ran on well two starts ago to finish second behind Western Bill beating home subsequent winner Rightyo who finished in third that race. She had less luck last start when shuffled 3 back the pegs in what became a dash home.

PRINCE JOY (6) looks the class runner in the field but draws poorly outside the front row as a result. He was held up back in the field last start in a heat of the Ultimate Driver Series which was taken out by Grey Cadillac.

MALIBU DREAM (9) was a winner three starts ago after being suited by a genuine early tempo in the race allowing her to run over the top late. She secured a good run last start on the leaders back and battled away well enough for third behind Rightyo.

SELECTIONS: MAJOR LINCOLN (2), LAST CALL (3), PRINCE JOY (6), MALIBU DREAM (9)

SUGGESTED BET: MAJOR LINCOLN (2) to win.

RACE 4

THE RIZZLER (4) drops back to Redcliffe and finds a much easier race than the one he contested last start in a heat of the UDC which was taken out by first up Kiwi Sweet Dior. He has shown in the past in this type of grade he is capable of doing work and should be able to get forward in this race and run well from there.

NITE IRENE (1) has early speed and should be able to drive through and lead before having options from there. She led two starts ago and was impressive leading all the way and running a quick last half before showing her versatility last start when coming from back in the field last start.

VICTREE CHARLIE (2) his best is likely too good for his rivals in this race but does seemingly tend to mix his form and he was disappointing last start when well suited by a strong tempo and he could only manage to run into fifth. He finds a race where he draws ideally but will be shuffled back early due to his limited gate speed and will be looking to run on late.

CHERRIES ON TOP (3) has good ability but is yet to put things together and has seemingly been a costly runner for punters when heavily supported her last two before finishing out of the money. She was shuffled back last start and only made up moderate ground late behind So Many Moments. This doesn’t look any easier.

SELECTIONS: THE RIZZLER (4), NITE IRENE (1), VICTREE CHARLIE (2), CHERRIES ON TOP (3)

SUGGESTED BET: THE RIZZLER (4) to win.

RACE 5

IMPERMISSIBLE (6) has good early speed and should be able to press forward in this race and attempt to make it a hat-trick of wins in this race. She was left without cover last time out and just proved too good for her rivals there over what is likely a less suitable trip at this stage in the 2040. She is seemingly still learning to race and should continue to get better.

BLUE DRAGON (8) is first up for a new stable in this race having recorded three wins last time and will be out to maintain her unbeaten record in QLD. She has high speed and should be suited by what looks to be a genuine early tempo in this race.

PADDYS DIAMOND (9) won impressive two starts ago when leading all the way. He then had less last start when doing a lot of work in a strong race taken out by Tiger Shirl who has since run well in a metro race. He should be suited getting a softer run early in this race.

WINDY HILL WHISKEY (7) won well two starts ago when securing a good run and finishing over the top late. She looked less suited last start in a stronger race and just battled away late. She should secure a soft run in this race and may be able to bounce back into the minor money.

SELECTIONS: IMPERMISSIBLE (6), BLUE DRAGON (8), PADDYS DIAMOND (9), WINDY HILL WHISKEY (7)

SUGGESTED BET: IMPERMISSIBLE (6) to win.

RACE 6

VODKA EN ICE (8) raced without luck two starts ago when unable to lead after burning early he battled away well for fourth.  He then took on a tougher race last start and was well beaten after racing wide early. He is generally a horse that does his best work up on speed and will appreciate the step back to Redcliffe.

IDEAL TIGER (6) was forced to do plenty of work last time out when sitting without cover before battling on nicely for third. He finds a race where he might be able to get forward again and should be hard to beat.

GAIT WITH GRACE (7) is a trotter taking on the pacers in this race. She draws inside the back row but does follow out a horse that may want to hold a forward position in this race. With luck at the right time she could figure.

MAGIC NITRO (1) led last start and battled on quite well behind Shadys Delight who was able to secure the perfect run on her back. She will likely appreciate the step back to the 1780 and despite taking on a better field could figure somewhere in the minor money.

SELECTIONS: VODKA EN ICE (8), IDEAL TIGER (6), GAIT WITH GRACE (7), MAGIC NITRO (1)

SUGGESTED BET: IDEAL TIGER (6) to win.

RACE 7

MOONSHINE MILLY (5) returns in this race and draws wide but does draw inside of his main rival in Leota. He showed plenty of ability last time in while doing a few things wrong in his races. He trialled up sharply recently when running through the line well late in moderate overall time.

LEOTA (6) was having his first start in the state last start and ran well behind Ima Booty Shaker at Albion Park. While there’s no doubt he has good ability he has had a few issues at the start which may prove crucial in this race drawing outside of his main rival.

REAL MIKI (7) showed good ability last time in when running a number of good races at this track. He trialled up nicely at this track winning by a big margin over Needareason rating solid time for this type of grade. He will need luck from the awkward draw.

DIGBY JOY (2) was first up last time out at this track when finishing fourth behind Tiger Shirl. She was a fair way from the winner but wasn’t beaten far at all by the second horse and should seemingly derive a lot of benefit from the outing.

SELECTIONS: MOONSHINE MILLY (5), LEOTA (6), REAL MIKI (7), DIGBY JOY (2)

SUGGESTED BET: MOONSHINE MILLY (5) to win.

RACE 8

WAR ZONE (1) has early speed and might be able to drive through and lead in the early stages. Hit the line quite nicely in a recent trial behind That’s Our Boy. He looks to get every chance in this race.

DIRTY MARTINI (7) took on a 2YO maiden last start and hit the line quite nicely late when getting into fifth. If he is able to drive through and hold a position early he should get every chance in this race.

SIX SEVEN (5) appears to be gradually getting better with more experience in races. Worked home fairly last start into fifth. With further race experience he can be competitive in this race.

TENGERRI (4) has finished second his last two outings and appears to be racing much better now. He seemed to over race last start outside of Wilpeka and was a good effort to hang onto second.

SELECTIONS: WAR ZONE (1), DIRTY MARTINI (7), SIX SEVEN (5), TENGERRI (4)

SUGGESTED BET: WAR ZONE (1) to win.

RACE 9

CHEETAK CHICK (4) was seemingly a touch disappointing last start when well beaten in what was seemingly just a moderate race taken out by Goodtime Dolly. She was forced to do a bit of work there and raced off the pegs. If she can find the front in this race she could prove hard to run down.

MISS MUNCH (8) showed ability last time in when taking on a number of strong maiden fields. She trialled up nicely in a recent trial at Albion Park when appearing to run through the line with plenty in hand behind Sweet Dior who has since won a heat of the Ultimate Driver series in good time.

MATTEO (5) did things wrong last start at Albion Park when well beaten in a much stronger race. He should find this a lot easier despite the wide draw. He is having his first start at Redcliffe but did seemingly handle racing at Penrith albeit on the pegs in that race.

MISTER FREEMAN (7) hit the line nicely in his latest trial when finishing fifth. He draws awkwardly inside the back row which may make things tough on debut but he seemingly has enough ability to figure.

SELECTIONS: CHEETAK CHICK (4), MISS MUNCH (8), MATTEO (5), MISTER FREEMAN (7)

SUGGESTED BET: CHEETAH CHICK (4) to win.
