RACE 1

MARTY THE MARTIAN (8) was left without cover last start at Tamworth in a race they rated fast time battling away for a good fourth. He should secure a more economical run early in this race and it looks a step back in grade in this company. He should be hard to beat.

AQUA SANCTA (6) started outside the back row at Redcliffe last time out and was running on late into a midfield finish. They ran good time for Tamworth and the times should stack up quite well in this type of field. If the speed is on he can be running on late.

LULU LUCIFER (1) finished best to score last start over Amillionchances at Albion Park. She steps up in grade into this grade but does draw gate 1 as a result which should go some way to offsetting that step up in class.

STORMTIDE (7) was luckless two starts ago when landing back in QLD for a heat of the Ultimate Driver series. He then stepped back to Redcliffe and put in run that was almost too bad to true last start finishing at the rear of the field. If you can forgive that latest outing he may be able to bounce back with a soft draw here.

SELECTIONS: MARTY THE MARTIAN (8), AQUA SANCTA (6), LULU LUCIFER (1), STORMTIDE (7)

SUGGESTED BET: MARTY THE MARTIAN (8) to win.

RACE 2

JO ROCKS (8) has trialled up twice recently since her latest start in February where she led and was well beaten. Her lates trial at Redcliffe was a nice enough effort winning by 14.2 metres and rating good enough time. She gains a soft trailing draw in this race and could be getting into it at the right time.

TWILIGHT TANGO (7) led in her latest race start in December and was extremely poor finishing seventh as a short priced favourite. She had been racing well prior to that and may have benefited from a break. If she can weak a path away from the inside at the right time she should be hard to beat.

THE HARRIS HAWK (6) loves racing at this track. He was a winner five starts ago when running on best at Albion Park. He is likely to get back in this race from a wide draw and if the speed is on he can be running on late.

SMIRKS LIKA BOSS (5) has seemingly turned a corner in recent starts and begun to race better. His fourth two starts ago was promising before he ran a solid third last start. He seems to be heading in the right direction.

SELECTIONS: JO ROCKS (8), TWILIGHT TANGO (7), THE HARRIS HAWK (6), SMIRKS LIKA BOSS (5)

SUGGESTED BET: TWILIGHT TANGO (7) to win.

RACE 3

DOOLITTLE DOOZZIE (1) has gate speed and will likely to press forward and hold a prominent position in the early stages of the race. She is usually a good leader and if she is able to hold a prominent position early she should be quite hard to run down despite what her poor numerical form might suggest.

KEAYANG TARA (7) got back last start and was running on late behind stablemate Lulu Lucifer at Albion Park. She looks likely to get a good run through on the back of a horse that will be keen to hold a forward position.

GOOD WORD THAT (8) was a winner two starts ago after sitting leaders back and running straight by Connies Spirit to score nicely. He drew poorly last start over the 1660 at Albion Park and was making up late ground. He has options early in this race.

SPORTY AZZ (4) trialled recently at this track running a close up third to stablemate Jilliby Tsunami. He has been racing well recently without a lot of luck and could bounce back to form if the race was run to suit.

SELECTIONS: DOOLITTLE DOOZZIE (1), KEAYANG TARA (7), GOOD WORD THAT (8), SPORTY AZZ (4)

SUGGESTED BET: DOOLITTLE DOOZZIE (1) to win.

RACE 4

GIDUP CAPTAIN (4) ran a better race last start when sat up for one run at them late finishing a good third. He finds what looks to be a fairly moderate ran and has options in the early stages. He should run well again.

ROCKNROLL DA GAMA (8) got back last start in a race at Albion Park and was making up late ground into eighth. He should find this race a lot easier stepping back to Redcliffe and he draws ideally on the back row to do no work early.

ROLLONX (9) didn’t seem to go this his best last start when securing an ideal run on the pegs before fading out of it late running fifth. He looks well graded in this race and his best is good enough to figure.

CONVAIR HUSTLER (6) worked away from the pegs last start mid race and did some work to attempt to hold that position. He finished off nicely late when running into second and should run well again despite the wide draw in this race.

SELECTIONS: GIDUP CAPTAIN (4), ROCKNROLL DA GAMA (8), ROLLONX (9), CONVAIR HUSTLER (6)

SUGGESTED BET: ROCKNROLL DA GAMA (8) to win.

RACE 5

CAPTAIN OH CAPTAIN (5) sat leaders back last start and ran well finishing second to Crime Time at this track and distance. He draws wide in this race but looks a clear standout on class and should be very hard to beat.

DOWNTOWN MANHATTAN (7) should get a good run through on the back of a horse with early speed. He ran well enough two starts ago finishing midfield behind Courageous Leo.

DOOLITTLE DAYS (1) has good early speed and should be able to hold a prominent position in this race. She secure a good run two starts ago at Marburg and was able to run third in decent time for this type of grade. She comes into this race first up for over a month which does appear a query.

GET ME OUTTA HERE (8) didn’t do much last start when racing on the pegs at Albion Park finishing ninth. He should find this company a lot easier and he draws to do no work early. His best is good enough to be hard to beat.

SELECTIONS: CAPTAIN OH CAPTAIN (5), DOWNTOWN MANHATTAN (7), DOOLITTLE DAYS (1), GET ME OUTTA HERE (8)

SUGGESTED BET: CAPTAIN OH CAPTAIN (5) to win.

RACE 6

LAZENA (6) put in an excellent run last start behind Tiger Shirl in fast time for the grade. She appears to find a very suitable race here despite the wide draw. She has options early and should be very hard to beat in what looks a very winnable race.

BLING THE NOISE (9) was beaten a long way last time out in a strong race which was taken out by Tiger Shirl. He has a lot of ground to make up on his key rival Lazena who beaten him 45 metres there but his form prior to last start suggested a race of this nature could be within reach for him.

ERNIELOVENBOY (3) has some early speed and may be able to press forward and find a prominent position in this race. He ran a much better race last start when appearing to hit the line better after being held up at a crucial stage.

ROCKNROLL KNIGHT (5) was a good winner two starts ago when sitting without cover and proving far too good for her rivals there. She draws wide this time and may get shuffled back or forced to work at some stage.

SELECTIONS: LAZENA (6), BLING THE NOISE (9), ERNIELOVENBOY (3), ROCKNROLL KNIGHT (5)

SUGGESTED BET: LAZENA (6) to win.

RACE 7

RESPECT THE MIKI (8) has modest numerical form but appears to have taken out slightly stronger maidens than a lot of his rivals. He draws the back row in this race but does follow out a horse with early speed and could press through and find a prominent position.

CAPTAIN BLUE CHIP (7) was beaten 80 metres last start at Albion Park when drawing well in a much stronger field. She was first up for over a month in that race and should find this company significantly easier. If she can navigate the awkward draw she can figure in the finish.

TENGERRI (2) pressed forward two back and was left without cover where he seemingly over raced and was quite impressive to run second. He couldn’t quite back that up last start when well beaten after securing a good run on the pegs.

EXIT STAGE LEFT (3) showed gate speed last start to zip over and lead before battling away well enough for third. She is likely to derived a lot of benefit from that outing on debut and should go well again.

SELECTIONS: RESPECT THE MIKI (8), CAPTAIN BLUE CHIP (7), TENGERRI (2), EXIT STAGE LEFT (3)

SUGGESTED BET: RESPECT THE MIKI (8) to win.
