RACE ONE

Hitting the board in all five appearances since arriving in Qld, TYSON (1) secures his best gate. Eased from gate 6 last start he moved late for the bronze as FATE AWAITS proved too classy. Runner-up in three of the five he has faced on this deck, he has the options to capitalise.

 STRIKEM (2)
is on the back up from Tuesday where he tackled a NR75 heat and was forced to work from gate 7. Fighting hard but missing the minors behind THE RASCAL, he chased home FATE AWAITS from a standing start two starts back. An improved gate will see him throw it down.

 ARRIVE (7)
faces a wide gate at her first start in almost eight months in a tough grade against hard and fit opposition. Securing the G1 Triad Final at her last start in tough fashion, she has the class to defy the obstacles.

 EXCLUSIVE HUSTLER (5)
worked forward to find the front here two starts back and setting it up for a slick 54.4 closing half, was collared on the line when beaten a half-neck behind ATTACHMENT. Sitting parked and midfield to the same winner next time, he can challenge.

 TINDER SURPRISE (8)
should appreciate a pegs trip that this gate will offer. Holding on for the bronze when lighting the lamps three starts back, he will be probing for open road here.

 SUGGESTED BET:
COOL NIGHT (1) to win

RACE THREE

Freshened from her last start 3rd when forced to sit parked in the run, POST PAINTER (3) was mighty impressive in defeat when 3m from the winner LUX AETERNA. A winner at four of six this season, she has the speed and grit to make the most of the situation to issue the challenge.

 ILOVEACALENDARGIRL (2)
has been a revelation since arriving in Qld, making it an impressive four in succession here last start with a dictating win. All four wins were when setting the tempo and with the gate that gives her the chance to maintain the advantage, she is a huge threat.

 SERGIOS ROCKET (1)
started from the second line at her past three in succession, the latest when finishing midfield after landing the inside second line. Only 5m away on that occasion, she secures all the options here to feature.

 BIGGER THE BETTOR (1)
resumed from a spell when chasing home DASHING over 2138. Taking a passing lane shot last start when grabbing bronze behind ATTACHMENT, he has the early hustle to dictate position and will get the chance to issue the challenge.

 OZZIE PUNTA (8)
has been a model of consistency with two wins and three minors in his past six appearances on this deck. Dictating in front here two starts back, he chased home from the pocket trail last start as ATTACHMENT post an 8m margin. He will be probing.

RACE FIVE

Runner-up in four of her past six starts, SHES CRUNCHY (10) finds herself off the second line for the first occasion. A beaten fav at her past two starts she can graft it out if necessary and despite the tough gate, can look to assert herself on the opposition.

 MISS FROUFROU (1)
cashed in last start when tackling easier opposition but able to put them away in impressive fashion. Runner-up the start prior when under 2m from the winner, she secures all the options from this gate to issue the challenge.

 HELL OF A HAND (5)
eased for position last start and was making good metres in the closing stages when 7m astern of the winner. Settling handy is key to her chances.

SELECTIONS: SHES CRUNCHY (10), MISS FROUFROU (1), HELL OF A HAND (5), TOUGH SHAZ (7)
 SUGGESTED BET:
SHES CRUNCHY (10) to win

RACE SIX

Following a two start NSW campaign, SPEAK THE TRUTH (6) returns home after finishing rearward in the Light Horse FFA last time out. Under 6m from LEAP TO FAME in the Miracle Mile qualifiers, he went to Sydney off three successive victories and despite the widest gate, can excel with the absence of some stars.

 FRANKIE FEROCIOUS (5)
was beaten by gate 7 last start when retreating for position and chasing in vain as LEAP TO FAME carved out a 53.3 closing half from the front. Chasing for the bronze behind CHEERSTOLOU the start prior, the small field is in its favour of throwing down the challenge.

 TIMS A TROOPER (4)
settled in the running line from this same gate last start and could not get warm as DASHING controlled it from the front. Pressing forward in the early stages, he is a threat with the right trip.

SELECTIONS: SPEAK THE TRUTH (6), FRANKIE FEROCIOUS (5), TIMS A TROOPER (4)
 SUGGESTED BET:
SPEAK THE TRUTH (6) to win

RACE SEVEN

Starting from inside the second line last time out, BASILISK BOB (5) was strong to the line at 2138 to grab the bronze behind the smart PATH TO GREATNESS. Beaten a pimple here three starts back at the mile after faced with the outside front line barrier, he finds conditions to capitalise.

 APPLIED (6)
is afforded no favours from the wide gate but has produced some strong performances from wide draws previously. When dictating from gate 1 two starts back, he was fighting hard when just behind the money as PATH TO GREATNESS dictated last time. He will be working at some stage to throw it down.

 SAINT CRUSADER (1)
can be an improver from the improved gate and with the right trip in behind the speed. Settling rearward after being repelled early last start, this looks more palatable.

 HOLD ONTO YA BLING (8)
has the early options as the lone runner from the second line and has proven to be effective off speed. With the soft fence trip, he looms as a podium hope.

SELECTIONS: BASILISK BOB (5), APPLIED (6), SAINT CRUSADER (1), HOLD ONTO YA BLING (8)
 SUGGESTED BET:
BASILISK BOB (5) to win

RACE EIGHT

Beaten by gate 6 last time out when retreating, the speed from the front made it impossible for LULLABY (3) to eat into the deficit. A beaten fav the start prior when gunned down in front at the middle trip, the good gate at the mile assist her claims in claiming a breakthrough here at HQ after placings in three of seven attempts.

 AT THE POINTY END (1)
is on the back up from Wed night at Redcliffe, with all four of her Qld runs on The Triangle. 5m from SWEET AGENDA three starts back after starting from inside the second line, she secures the improved gate which will assist her challenging chances.

 MAID OF MONEY (8)
was facing a task against the tempo last time when midfield as TOUGH SHAZ saw them off. With the chance to tuck in behind the speed, she is a podium player here.

 DRAW A DREAM (6)
is given no favours from the wide gate but has been thereabouts in recent appearances. Placed in four of her past five, she found the trail last start when runner-up and can chime in again.

 SUGGESTED BET:
LULLABY (3) to win

A winner in this same grade four runs back when dictating from the front, ROCK HAMMER (2) has not had things go his way in the three since. Carted back behind a tiring leader last start, he stuck on after sitting parked as APPLIED saw them off two starts back. He gets his chance again.

 MIKIS JOE (9)
was just a head from BUDDY PERFECT three starts back and then finished midfield from the running line behind APPLIES. Eased off the arm last start and unable to get into a race controlled from the front, he can follow through early to challenge late in this grade.

 JEKAMIAS (7)
was a heat winner of the standing start Goldstrike Series at Marburg before finishing just a half-neck away in the final. The wide gate dents his chances, but he can chime in.

 STUDLEIGH MARK (1)
led up last start over 2138 and was out of tokens at the 400 as FATE AWAITS out them to the sword. A return to the mile from this gate will assist his claims.
