IGNITE (9)
added another second placing to the tally last start to make it four in succession when finishing 4m from the winner CASCATA. Hitting the board in nine of 12 for the season, he has only converted one of those to a win and with his manners will be challenging again.

VOLTAIN (4)
is on the short back-up from Tuesday where she finished 2nd. Stepping to the front before releasing and finishing under 3m from the winner, she can feature again here.

RACE TWO

Rolling forward to sit parked last time out, LEOTA (1) worked hard in the run and was able to grind out the W with a narrow victory. Making a late rally when midfield but under 5m from the winner the start prior, this is the best marble in some time and he can capitalise.

 KASH FUND (2)
was first up from a spell in starting his 3YO term when starting off the second line here last week. With the 1x1 trip, he had the speed in the stretch to arrive in time. Taking benefit from the run, he can be close to the action from this gate to issue a challenge.

 HIGHNMIGHTY (4)
was first up from a spell when dictating at Redcliffe in taking a 4m margin. Beaten by wide gates in each of her next three starts, she can be a little closer here to join in.

 BETTOR BE BODHI (1)
sat in the running line from gate 5 last start and was making some metres int eh closing stages to finish 4m from KASH FUND. Chargin home in the stretch when beaten a head the start prior, he secures all the options from the inside to throw down the challenge.

has hit the board in all four career starts, the latest from the second line when sent to the post in red figures. Breaking maiden ranks with a big win, he steps out on the big deck for the firs time.

A winner in two of his past three starts, DUKE OF ARGYLL (5) produced a PB at the mile last time out when dictating and posting an 8m margin. Setting the tempo the start prior in his first attempt at this trip, he faded late when unplaced. He can chase 2138 redemption here.

 MISTER FREEMAN (1)
was a big winner at Redcliffe three starts back when forcing the issue from the breeze and pulling clear in smart time. Runner-up in both subsequent appearances here on the big deck, he lands the gate to be right in the mix once again.

 SON OF XENA (2)
returns from a break following a gritty last start victory at Redcliffe when parked and taking a 4m win. Hitting the board in all five career starts, he may need the run first up at the middle trip.

 THE LADY DIOR (6)
was resuming from a spell last time out when scarping the outside fence and running on for the silver behind EDWARD JAY. The gate stings, but she has the class.

 SUGGESTED BET:

RACE FIVE

A winner four starts back at Marburg when dictating with a sharp last 800, SPLASHNDASH (3) has tackled Saturday night company at his past three. Just a neck from MIKIS JOE three back, he was not far away at his next two and in this grade can look to optimise the opportunity.

 COPPERFIELD (1)
was shuffled to three back along the inside from gate 8 last time out and was probing for the gaps to finish with the silver. Not suited when asked to park the start prior, he can secure the right trip behind the speed here to throw it down in the stretch.

 IMANI (9)
showed speed out of the machine to lead from gate 1 here two starts back and from the front fought off the challengers to score. With the right trail, she is a podium hope here.

 BUBBA NAY (4)
was sent out in red figures last start from gate 1 and after being crossed early eased off the inside to the running line. Carted up the track when the leader drifted, it was a sound 3rd and she has claims here.

 SUGGESTED BET:
SPLASHNDASH (3) to win

 STUDLEIGH MARK (3)
should appreciate a return to the midweeks after contesting Saturday night qualifying events at his past four. Runner-up in two of those when beaten a half-head by MIKIS JOE and a head by JEKAMIAS, he can get forward to issue the challenge.

 EDWARD JAY (7)
started from inside the second line last start and held the pocket trail in transit at the mile. With a saloon passage as they straightened, he darted through to score easily. The gate dents the repeat hopes.

 LITTLELIONELJAMES (6)
made full use of the inside gate to take control, dictate and claim a 5m margin for a 20th career win last time out. Despite a tricky gate he can be thereabouts.

SELECTIONS: FRANCO MACHO (1), STUDLEIGH MARK (3), EDWARD JAY (7), LITTLELIONELJAMES (6)
 SUGGESTED BET:
FRANCO MACHO (1) to win

RACE SEVEN

A few chances in this contest where mapping and tempo will play a strong factor. Despite the gate, CHEZZ DALE (7) is right in contention and was a winner from this same gate two starts back when set alight early to take control and fend them off. If he can get there in this, he will take some stopping.

 COMMODORE JUJON (10)
had the finishing power to descend on them and take the prize last start at Redcliffe after starting from the second line. Runner-up in a 1.50.9 mile when 2m from EXCLUSIVE HUSTLER three starts back, a solid tempo will assist his challenging chances.

 MY ULTIMATE BUDDHA (1)
held on for the bronze behind CHEZZ DALE at the mile five runs back. Unplaced in each run since, a return to this alley is a plus and with the right trail can feature.

 SUGGESTED BET:
CHEZZ DALE (7) to win

RACE EIGHT

With the chance to follow through behind a smart beginner, PRINCESS ARNA (8) should be able to secure a great position and angle for the gaps in the stretch. Unplaced in a Trot Rods 947m scamper last start, she is two from two on this deck and can chase the threepeat.

 ONE CHAIN ROAD (1)
was building towards a victory after successive placings on this deck when not beaten far on either occasion. Tackling a Redcliffe Trot Rods one lap sprint last start, his early speed saw him take control and fend them off to score. He can chase the repeat.

 JUSTROLLINGAROUND (9)
should appreciate a return to the mile after her past two assignments at the middle trip. With the chance to drop to the poles for the shortest way home, she is a place prospect.

 ENGLISH DANCE (7)
is afforded no favours from the outside paint but might just find this a shade easier than his past two starts. Chasing a dictating leader last start, he can join in here.

SELECTIONS: PRINCESS ARNA (8), ONE CHAIN ROAD (1), JUSTROLLINGAROUND (9), ENGLISH DANCE (7)
 SUGGESTED BET:
Exotics 1-7-8-9

RACE NINE

ROYAL WINKLE (2) started fav here last week from gate 4 but soon settled near the rear and then never warmed up over the closing stages. A gritty 2nd when parked at Redcliffe the start prior, he can look to force the issue and from the front would take catching in an even contest.

 KEAYANG TARA (4)
has faced some wide gates in recent starts, the latest from outside the second line when looking for shortcuts at Marburg and finishing 4m from the winner. Strong late to grab the silver here three starts back at the mile, she can challenge here.

 CHARMAWAY (1)
is first up for the new stable off the back of a tidy trial performance. UP in grade as a pathway graded mare with just one win, the gate assists her place hopes.

 GRACENAVA (10)
was luckless from a second line gate last time out at Marburg in a race dictated from the front. The right tempo can see her make a podium play here.

SELECTIONS: ROYAL WINKLE (2), KEAYANG TARA (4), CHARMAWAY (1), GRACENAVA (10)
 SUGGESTED BET:
ROYAL WINKLE (2) to win
