Form Analysis: Marburg April 26

RACE 1 

LUSTRE (4) trialled up quite nicely recently at Marburg when finishing third. She showed ability last campaign including a third behind Dragon in fast time for this grade before finishing midfield behind Arrive in a heat of the Qbred Triad series. She looks very hard to beat. 

RAINBOW GAMBLER (1) showed gate speed last start before dropping onto the back of Bling the Noise who ran out a dominant winner. He battled on well enough for third there to suggest he should be hard to beat in a race of this nature from an ideal draw. 

STONES (6) should get a good run through on the back of Rainbow Gambler who has good gate speed. He had very little luck last start and may be able to turn things around from the good draw. 

BAHAMAS MISS (2) showed good gate speed last start before being taken on through the early part of the race. If she was able to secure an easier run in front she likely would’ve been right in the finish.

SUGGESTED BET: RAINBOW GAMBLER (1) to place.

RACE 2 

RESPECT THE MIKI (1) looks the leader in this race and should get her best chance yet to break maiden status. She finished a distant second four starts ago but ran well enough there to suggest she could win a race of this nature out in front. 

VICE CHAIRWOMAN (4) sat without cover two starts ago battling on strongly to finish second albeit in slow time behind Bettor Be Bodhi. She looks likely to secure a similar type of run in this race and should run well. 

SCMIKI (7) was second up in QLD last start when leading and being run down finishing third not beaten far. He is likely to have derived benefit from that outing and should run well again. 

MACMUFF (3) got back two starts ago at Redcliffe and was running on strongly late into second. She got a long way back last start and couldn’t get into the race at this track. She should be running on again.

SELECTIONS: RESPECT THE MIKI (1), VICE CHAIRWOMAN (4), SCMIKI (7), MACMUFF (3)

SUGGESTED BET: RESPECT THE MIKI (1) to win.

RACE 3

LANEYS LAST (2) looks likely to be able to work to the lead in this race and should be very hard to run down. She was able to lead two starts ago at this track and scored a big win rating good time. She meets a similar field and she should win again. 

ROCKNROLL KNIGHT (8) scored a good win two starts ago when running on best at Redcliffe to score beating Our Sweet Jess. He should get a good run off the speed and will be running on late. 

WEE BONNIE (3) was able to secure the right type of run in front last time out and proved too good. She may not be able to lead this time but should secure a good run and can look to fill a position in the minor money.

TARIFF TIME (7) appeared poised to figured prominently in the finish last time out when being suited sitting off a strong speed. She seemingly just never quite let down and was well beaten in fifth. She can look to bounce back.

RACE 4 

STARZZZONTHEWATER (4) has good gate speed and may look to press forward and find a prominent position in this race. He ran well last start in a race taken out by Alwaysbjoy at Albion park in a heat of the Ultimate Driver series. He comes into this race first up and if he is ready to go he should run well. 

SIYA (2) has shown reasonable gate speed in the past and may be able to hold the early advantage on main rivals in this race. She impressed last start securing the ideal run and finishing best to score at this track. 

DOUG STEWART (9) showed gate speed early last start before handing over to Opallane and finishing a distant fourth. This race looks a lot easier and he may be better suited doing no work early and being saved for one run at them late. 

TWOSIPSALLY (7) was well beaten in a much stronger race last time out taken out by Rally Around at Redcliffe. She should be nearing peak fitness now and draws to get a reasonable run through early in this race.

RACE 5

CONVAIR HUSTLER (3) held the breeze last start and battled on nicely at this track for second. He looks to find another race where he can find a prominent position in this run. If he is able to lead he would be very hard to beat.

PARTY CHANGER (4) trialled up reasonably for a race of this nature. He has always been best when able to find a position which looks possible from a reasonable front row draw in this race. 

YOGI (9) has been racing consistently without being able to win. He draws awkwardly in this race outside the back row and will need a few things to go his way in the run. He is capable in this type of grade. 

MOLLIDOR (1) should have the speed to lead initially before having options from there. She ran a solid second three starts ago at Albion Park when leading and just being run down late.

SUGGESTED BET: PARTY CHANGER (4) to win.

RACE 6 

SAINT LOUIS BEAT (1) showed good gate speed last start to lead and proved too good there first up from a spell. He is likely to have derived good benefit from the outing and draws favourably again. He should be hard to run down.

CAPTAIN OH CAPTAIN (6) should get a good run through on the back of Saint Louis Beat in this race. He was able to sit without cover two starts ago at Redcliffe to score before running well again last start in a stronger race. 

IDEAL TIGER (3) proved too good last start when sitting without cover at Albion Park to win. He may need to do similar in this race from an awkward draw but should be capable. 

GRACENAVA (8) has poor numerical form but has been racing well. She secured a good peg line run two starts ago at Redcliffe and was able to run third to The Real Rocketman. This looks easier and she can figure with the right run.

RACE 7

KEAYANG TARA (9) was well beaten last start at Marburg but didn’t have a lot of luck there when getting back in a race dominated by horses up on speed. She lands in a similarly suitable race and if the race is run upside down she can figure.

OUTER CHANGE (2) may look to press forward in the early stages. If she could find the lead in a race of this nature she would likely be quite hard to beat. She ran fourth last time out behind stablemate Doolittle Doozzie at this track.

ROCKNROLL DA GAMA (4) got back last start and ran on well at this track behind Saint Louis Beat in a race they dashed home a quick last half for the grade of race and track. 

GOOD WORD THAT (8) looks well graded in a race of this nature. He got back recently at Redcliffe and was doing his best work through the line late. He would need the race run upside down to be a winning factor.

RACE 8

SAN SABA (1) has good gate speed and should have the speed to drive through and lead. She was able to lead recently at Redcliffe when being taken on throughout the race and was just beaten by Precocious Kate who had the perfect run. 

MILLIEWOOD (6) should get the perfect run through behind San Saba in this race. Raced without luck last start when getting back and running on behind Jeffcoate. 

MAYWYN TROUABDOUR (5) got a long way back last time out from a wide draw and was running on strongly late into fourth. He is likely to have derived a lot of benefit from the outing and can look to do similar in this race. 

MULLUM DOC (7) has options whether to dive onto the pegs early or whether to stay in the running line. He has been racing in reasonable form and with the right run he can figure in the minor money.

RACE 9

DUAL CAM (1) has continued on where he left off following his stable change. He handed up the lead three starts ago and ran a good third placing there in fast time behind The Rizzler. He should have the speed to lead this time and should be very hard to run down. 

KALASA (6) hasn’t quite shown his best in recent times but showed some promise last time out when running a more competitive race. He should get a good run through behind Dual Cam who looks the leader in this race and will likely get every chance to run well. 

MUCH BETTOR (7) is a capable sit sprinter and draws well in this race to get a good run through early. He will need the race to be run to suit and he should be getting into it late. 

ONE LAST ROLL (2) showed very good gate speed last time out to find the lead from Lulu Lucifer and just proved too good there when leading all the way. He steps back up in grade in this race and may not be able to lead this time.
