RACE 1

ALLMIGHTY MAX (4) has good early speed and should be able to find a forward position in this race. He ran fourth last start after having very little luck in the run in a race taken out by Marty The Martian. He should be hard to beat.

HEAVENS BADGIRL (2) has good early speed and should be able to zip across and lead in the early stages of the race. She has previously been driven with cover when able to lead for a majority of her races and may look to adopt similar tactics in this race.

CHAMONIX (9) usually does his best work when sat up off the speed and saved for one run. He hasn’t been at his best in recent starts but looks well graded in this race and can figure if he bounces back to some of his better form.

WELEASE WODDEWICK (7) starts for new trainer Donny Smith in this race having done his recent racing in Perth. He struggled in his latest outings but with a new trainer and a soft draw in this race he can be an improver.

SELECTIONS: ALLMIGHTY MAX (4), HEAVENS BADGIRL (2), CHAMONIX (9), WELEASE WODDEWICK (7)

SUGGESTED BET: ALLMIGHTY MAX (4) to win.

RACE 2

MY ULTIMATE BUDDHA (1) has good gate speed and can likely hold a forward position in this race. He took the trail on Chezz Dale last start travelling well throughout before coming up just a touch short finishing third. This looks a slightly weaker race and he should be hard to beat.

PRINCE OF PAIN (7) took on a strong race last start which was taken out by Great White at Albion Park. He should get a good run through in this race on the back of a gate speed horse and if the gaps appear at the right time he can be running on late.

SWEET AGENDA (5) returned nicely from a spell at this track and trip when being well driven to secure a good run before proving too good late. She draws wide again and will need to be well driven but should have derived benefit from her first up outing.

ROCKSNGENMS (3) was a winner five starts ago at this track over the 2040. He has good gate speed and can position up nice and close to the speed in this race from a good draw. He could bounce back in this race.

SELECTIONS: MY ULTIMATE BUDDHA (1), PRINCE OF PAIN (7), SWEET AGENDA (5), ROCKSNGENMS (3)

SUGGESTED BET: PRINCE OF PAIN (7) each way.

RACE 3

WELL SAID NUGGET (2) has been racing in good form having placed in three of his last five starts. He seems to be a horse that improves significantly when able to find the rails which appears a possibility in this race. If he can work to the lead he has options and will be hard to beat.

BAIL DENIED (5) secured the right run last start and was able to run second behind So Many Moments. He draws wide this time and looks likely to be shuffled back or forced to work. He is racing well enough and should be thereabouts again.

ENGLISH DANCE (8) got a long way back from a wide draw last start in a race taken out by Merry Jewel and was running on nicely at the finish. He should settle closer this time with a nice trailing draw to follow out a gate speed horse and can run well from there.

SHES MY MISTAKE (3) ran third last start over the 2138 at Albion Park behind Metteo in good enough times for the grade. She draws awkwardly and may be shuffled back but can be running on late.

SELECTIONS: WELL SAID NUGGET (2), BAIL DENIED (5), ENGLISH DANCE (8), SHES MY MISTAKE (3)

SUGGESTED BET: WELL SAID NUGGET (2) to win.

RACE 4

MISS SYRAH (8) has been in career best form running a number of good races in recent starts. She was excellent in her latest start when powering into it late and running second to the in-form Merry Jewel. She looks suited on the back row doing no work early and should be hard to hold out late.

GRIGORA (1) has reasonable gate speed and may be able to hold a forward position in this race. He comes into this race third up from a spell and should be nearing peak fitness. He got shuffled back last last start and was making up good ground late.

LITTLE HOOFANANNY (7) ran well two starts ago when sitting without cover and proving too good at this track over the 1780. She should get a good run through on the back of Grigora

REAL TIN TIN (5) has been sent out favourite his last three starts and just hasn’t quite been able to win. He seems to be much better suited when sat up and saved for one run at them late and may not have been ideally suited his past two starts when used off the gate early.

SELECTIONS: MISS SYRAH (8), GRIGORA (1), LITTLE HOOFANANNY (7), REAL TIN TIN (5)

SUGGESTED BET: MISS SYRAH (8) to win.

RACE 5

ILLBEWATCHING (3) has shown that despite getting older he is still capable of doing work in his races and running very well. He was able to work to the lead four starts ago and proved too good there. He can look to do similar in this race.

WANDARY DELIGHT (8) was too good two starts ago when winning. She backed that up last start with an unlucky third behind Bracken Warrior. She draws well and should run again.

ROYAL WINKLE (1) worked hard last start and was well beaten finishing seventh as a result of the work he was forced to do early. He may elect to adopt more conservative tactics in this race and can run well.

SNIP OF BEAUTY (9) draws to do no work in this race off the back row which seemingly suits her racing style well. She secured a good run last start just behind the speed and was able to run on well into third. She should be running on again.

SELECTIONS: ILLBEWATCHING (3), WANDARY DELIGHT (8), ROYAL WINKLE (1), SNIP OF BEAUTY (9)

SUGGESTED BET: ILLBEWATCHING (3) to win.

RACE 6

MAJOR LINCOLN (5) has raced well in the past when driven up on speed in his races and may get that opportunity in this race. He drops right back in class and appears to find a suitable race.

JUKEBOX JET (8) has bounced back to some of his better form in recent outings having recorded two second placings in his last two starts. He should get a good run off the speed in this race

ROSARITO (1) isn’t a horse that usually elects to lead in his races and seems best suited when driven with cover. He should have the speed to lead early in this race before having options to sit on something from there.

TRACER BULLET (7) ran on nicely to finish second three starts ago at this track behind Illbewatching. He draws awkwardly inside the back row again in this race and may rely on some luck at the right time to bring him into the race.

SELECTIONS: MAJOR LINCOLN (5), JUKEBOX JET (8), ROSARITO (1), TRACER BULLET (7)

SUGGESTED BET: MAJOR LINCOLN (5) to win.

RACE 7

ZEEZEEZOOM (1) has been impressive since debuting scoring two wins in three starts. He led last start and was able to prove too good for My Ultimate Franco at Albion Park. He should be able to lead again in this race and will be hard to run down again.

BLUE DRAGON (7) should get a good run through in the early stages of the race behind Zeezeezoom. She ran well last start battling away nicely late for second behind Eternal Bliss after sitting outside of her. She should be in the finish.

TIGER SHIRL (5) was able to record three consecutive placings in races the winner rated 1.52 mile rates before running fifth last time out. She draws wide this time and may be driven for her high speed which would mean she’d likely need the race run to suit to bring her into contention.

TWEEDY (8) didn’t go to her absolute best last start when well beaten at this track. She was very good her start prior when securing a good run and finishing second to the very smart Ideal Brosnki at Albion Park.

SELECTIONS: ZEEZEEZOOM (1), BLUE DRAGON (7), TIGER SHIRL (5), TWEEDY (8)

SUGGESTED BET: ZEEZEEZOOM (1) & BLUE DRAGON (7) quinella.

RACE 8

MISTER FREEMAN (5) steps up in grade to race horses that have won previously having broken his maiden last start at this track and trip. He showed last start he’s a horst that is capable of doing some work in his races sitting without cover and proving too good there. He should be able to press forward again and can run well.

MIKI MOO (6) was forced to do the work outside of Lucky Luda and ran a gallant third there not beaten far. She had run well her start prior behind Eternal Bliss at Albion Park where they rated a fast last half in that race.

MOONSHINE MILLY (8) was shuffled a long way back last start and was doing his best work through the line late. He should settle closer this time from the back row draw and has good ability. If the race is run to suit he can figure.

VICTREE ATOM (1) showed gate speed before taking a trail and sitting on the back of Lucky Luda. He may elect to adopt similar tactics in this race and can run well again.

SELECTIONS: MISTER FREEMAN (5), MIKI MOO (6), MOONSHINE MILLY (8), VICTREE ATOM (1)

SUGGESTED BET:

RACE 9

DONT ASK AGAIN (1) has good gate speed and should be able to hold a forward position int his race. She made up good ground last start when running on from off the speed into second. She is likely to have derived benefit from her first up outing and should be hard to catch.

MISS MUNCH (8) seems a horse with plenty of ability that’s still just learning to race at the moment. Her recent trial when beating Zorba Dan was excellent rating a strong last half while still doing a few things wrong. She should take plenty of beating.

PERFECT LOU (7) was seemingly quite disappointing last start at Marburg when finding the lead and being beaten in fairly moderate time even for a maiden field. He did plenty wrong in that race and was sent back to the trials where he finished third behind Miss Munch. His best is good enough.

THATS CLASSIC (5) wasn’t knocked around in a recent trial where he was able to sit without cover throughout and finish a close up fourth. He is likely to have derived plenty of benefit from the trial and should be thereabouts on debut.

SELECTIONS: DONT ASK AGAIN (1), MISS MUNCH (8), PERFECT LOU (7), THATS CLASSIC (5)

SUGGESTED BET: MISS MUNCH (8) to win.
